As soon as I saw this post, I immediately thought “the comments on this one are going to be HILARIOUS!”. You ladies don’t disappoint! Thanks Collin!

    • Katie

That was my first thought too! I have to read these comments!!!lol

    • Amber

Hah! I thought the same too 😆

    • Alaina

      I’ve laughed until I cried!

  2. BrandyK

Amen! I finally decided to switch to cloth for myself, after using cloth on my kids, for my postpardum use after my son was born. And let me tell you- the difference was amazing. After my daughter, I had swelling, inflamation and irritation- found out I was allergic to the Always pads I was using and it was irritating the sutures. Why I didn’t think about cloth then? I dunno. But after my son was born, I used cloth and it was the smartest thing I ever did. My pp use was waaaay down from my two daughters, I was hardly bleeding at all.

Did you know that the chemicals in disposable pads AND tampons actually cause your body to bleed more? Women who use cloth have shorter, lighter periods.

    Grow up people.

  3. Tess

I’m all for freebies, but I’m going to pass on this one. It’s OK to throw some things away.

    • Rebekah

i so agree:) my DH was horrified at this when i showed him:)

    • April

totally with ya!!! Some things NEED to be disposed of! Just my opinion though!!

      • E

Your ancestors are going to wade through pads and tampons…good job.

        • Rebekah's DH

my ancestors will be wading through toilet paper too, because I’m definitely not going to buy that in the reusable form! 🙂

          • E

I’m glad you find it amusing that your ancestors are going to be disease ridden.

          • Misti

            ancestors came before you…descendants come after…just thought I’d share…

          • Rebekah's DH

            good point misti:) lol

          • E

Very productive comment, Misti. The surest sign of an argument being won: when you critize grammar/etc. At the time I’m breast feeding. I got off a 12 hour shift at 1900. I’m tired, get over it.

  4. mare

Got tired of refreshing the browser and having the site crash, so I called thier 800 # and was able to chat with a very nice customer rep lady. She apologized for the site crashing, they had no idea that this item would be so popular! She took my order and told me that if I really liked the pad/liner that they do sell them at Whole Foods. We also talked about the cups. LOL 😀

    • Olivia Smith

Might have to call them then!! I really want to try one!! 🙁

    • Laurie

Thanks, that helps. I am now ‘cloth curious’ 😉 and the site just isn’t working for me.

    • Andrea

can you post the number. I have been trying for over an hour. Got to last page and nothing in my shopping cart! Argg! Can’t get site to load at all now!

      • mare

Sure, here’s the #1-888-898-9496. I got a quick response and they know the site is acting up. 😀

        • Andrea

Yeah I got one. I was going to order flannel but after speaking to them I decided on the cotton. Being in NC where it is hot a LOT. She said some women find the flannel to warm for warm climates! I am so excited about this freebie.

          • Olivia Smith

I just called and there is a message that the offer will be available tomorrow and the website will be able to handle more volume! I will be checking mine tomorrow, yipee! 🙂

  5. Stephanie M

I really do have to pass on this one !!!!!!

  6. jenn

Ok I’m willing to try this at least at home since it’s free.

Now what to do afterwords? where I’m going to put them? what about washing them does that mean I need to run a whole cycle just for this things?

Don’t get me wrong I’m all for the enviroment, but :/

    • Anon

I was wondering the same things. Maybe some of you that are pro-cloth can educate the rest of us so it will seem less foreign?

Honestly, my first (and second) reactions were “ew” but I’m interested in learning more after reading some of the comments (even if I may not be brave enough to try them).

I assumed that these things went out 50 years ago. Heck I was kind of grossed out when I was reading a historical novel and it occured to me that ‘Always’ wasn’t always around… (and I never considered cloth diapers…and if I had to clean skid marks off my husbands underwear, well that would be grounds for divorce, or at least not ever having relations again 🙂 )

      • Andrea

Thanks for the info. Very informative. Never heard of cloth TP. I am intrigued to say the least. Might take a while to get hubby to come around but it makes sense and I HATE buying tp. such a waste of money. Found a good article on them though. Thank you for sharing. I learned something new today!! https://walkslowlylivewildly.com/category/cloth-toilet-paper/

    • Jessica

I wash them with my towels. I wash towels, underwear and cloth pads together, so I can sanitize them. I do a cold rinse (you can do 2 if it makes you feel better), then a regualr hot wash. They always come out clean! (Some people have a pretty ceramic pot or container next to the toilet or under the sink to store them in until wash day.) It’s really not that bad, and I find them much more comfortable than disposable ones!

  7. Susan Ornelas

All I can think of is ewwwww…lol….I will stick with what works and my monthly only last 1 1/2 days and I have never used cloth ( I just read someones post that says cloth will make your periods shorter)

Collin thanks for all the deals you find for all of our needs.

  8. Sarah

Yeah…ditto on the ewwwww….Who cares if it’s free!

  9. Jessica

I hae used and tried about everything. I used the Instead disposable cups for several years off and on when I could find them. I had a friend that used a rubbery washable cup and loved it. As for the Instead and being out in public, you don’t have to “carry” the used one with you. Bring and extra and just like a pad or tampon, change it. Throw the used one away! You only use 1-3 a day AT MOST on heavy days. I have never liked using tampons as I have always experienced vaginal “dryness” and discomfort.. plus there is the string issue.. which I think is eww… Instead and other cups are discreet and dependable. Yes you can have sex with them in too though they do not protect against pregnancy or STD’s (sorry.. I had to.. I am a high school science teacher.. hehe)

  10. Tara

I am all for helping the environment… but this is taking it a little too far. I need to feel clean, especially on my period!

  11. Marta

Everybody is shocked and ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, but someone’s over there ’cause the site is crashed and impossible to get onto! 🙂

  12. Andrea

It’s funny how different freebies excite different people. (or gross them out) LOL! I felt like Christmas had come early with this freebie. I have wanted to try these for some time now. While others are excited about a stop snoring freebie or an acne product ,etc…

  13. Kimi

This freebie is AWESOME! I have been leaning towards trying these for quite some time and now I have the perfect opportunity! I use the DivaCup and won’t trade it for anything, but I like the idea on their site of using it as a liner while waiting for your period to show up. No more panty stains!

I wanted to add that when I called in, she said they will gladly make substitutions for the fabric as well — I was able to get a really cute panda flannel instead of the icky red circus one. She was super nice! It did take about 10 minutes for the phone to be answered (sounds almost like she’s on her own there) but she was super nice and apologized for the site troubles (not like it’s her fault!).

Anyway, thanks again Collin for another great freebie post! 🙂

  14. Penny

omg!!!!!!!!! I love this site and I love all the freebies…but come on?!?! Yuck!

  15. megan

PARTY IN MY PANTS? LOL 🙂

I ordered one. 😉 I’m surprised party in my pants doesn’t pull up an XXX site. lol

    • Tina in Virginia

Hahaha, Megan, you’re hilarious! That’s what I thought, too!

  16. Rachael

I love my DivaCup! I am going to call about this freebie for the last day or so when I am super light but still need something. For the commentor who said you need to feel “clean” maybe you should really educate yourself because I can tell you I sure as hell don’t feel “clean” with an Always pad. Cloth pads and DivaCups are just as clean as any other method you might chose.

  17. Mandy

Called and ordered one. The lady is too sweet!

  18. KellyJ

I think not.. but ty anyways.. lol

  19. Michelle P

I got through! I am actually interested to try this… And the PIMP/Party in my Pants, haha, too funny!!

  20. alison

I cannot believe how negative people are being. I too have wanted to try these but didn’t want to shell money out to find out I didn’t like them. It’s worth trying. And knowing all the nasty additives in tampons and pads, what is there to lose?

  21. Carol

I’m the one who first posted that the cups are great. Now I see from the discussion that some of you might need clarification. The true menstrual cups are what I meant that I love. They are usually made of silicone (sometimes rubber) and they sit about where a tampon does. Here is what they look like: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FAG6XA?ie=UTF8&tag=webcareconnec-20 The other type is more like a diaphragm and rides much higher. I tried this kind also and could not get it to not leak. The second type is likely what you would find at a local drugstore. I would not recommend those. The silicone cups are much thicker and very easy to wipe out and reinsert–even in public restrooms. No more carrying supplies in your purse. Yes!!! These cloth pads do sound much messier to clean up than a menstrual cup.

    • Melissa M.

I love the diva cup!! I have also tried the diaphragm type disposable (it’s called Instead) and they always leak with heavy flow. Never had a problem with diva cup. I can’t wait to give this cotton pad a try.

      • Andrea

I love instead but I have been wanting to try the diva cup. I think I will have to take the plunge and get it now.

        • Melanie

The Diva Cup is one of the world’s greatest inventions. Love it!

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Eeeeewww and yuck! That’s all I can say. How disgusting to wash out these things. This is soooo gross!

    • megan

      An anon comment, shocking. 😛

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hey Megan, I completely agree, and not just because you have a good name! Seriously, as women, let’s just accept that this is one of our bodies functions. Maybe we need to write a book, “Every Woman Bleeds”, along the lines of “Everyone Poops”.

I had been planning to look for an alternative to disposable pads once I depleted my current supply, but thanks to breastfeeding, I’ve had an awesome period free break of almost a year!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I will be super pumped to try this. Plus the name is freaking hilarious.

    • Misti

seriously…whats the difference in washing out these things or a pair of your favorite undies that got overflowed onto? or a pair of jeans etc…we’ve all had accidents! So its not like we’re unfamiliar with having to wash blood out of our clothing-I’m going to give it a try!

      • M

I know, these ladies are being ridiculous, like they’ve never seen blood on their panties.

  23. cloth much better

I made a switch to cloth pads a few years ago. Cloth pads are much more comfortable. I can’t imagine any of us would chose to wear plastic underwear instead of cotton underwear. This is the same concept. Cotton pads are more breathable. Disposable pads are full of chemicals. This includes dioxins which are known to cause cancer. I was regularly getting itching and rashes with the disposables.

Cotton pads are an initial investment but they will pay for themselves before too long and you will save money. I have not bought disposables in at five years and that adds up. Cloth are much better for the environment because it doesn’t involve producing plastics and transporting them to your house. I find they are as absorbent and work at least as well, perhaps better, than disposable pads. As far as washing, you can throw them in with jeans, sheets, towels, whatever. You can rinse them out in cold water first.

    • M

This is all women had for thousands of years before disposables were made in the last century. I used to wonder how women in the “old” days handled this situation. Most women after trying the cotton pads and liners end up loving them. You haven’t seen too many here say, I tried them and I just hated them.

  24. E

Such immaturity, do you freak out when your tampon leaks and you get a little blood on your panties? Same concept.

You guys go ahead and stick chlorine soaked synthetic fiber up your bodies, I’ll use a cup for the heaviest part of my cycle and the liners for when I’m light.

    Less trash, more savings.

    • Sarah

Amen, sister! I think if everyone had to live with their disposed of pads and diapers the way their children and grandchildren will, everyone would be using cloth!

    • Marta

So right, the immaturity on here has been unbelieveable. Sounds like a bunch of little girls talking about their first period. Don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it or especially if you haven’t at least educated yourself about it. Our society is still soooooo Victorian when it comes to bodily functions. I guess working in the medical field numbs you to some of this.

    • Sherri

I totally agree with you on the immaturity levels. I’ve found the same responses a lot when talking about cloth diapers and cloth feminine products. What do these people think our grandmothers and great grandmothers used?

    • Susan Ornelas

ahh yea I do. I change mine every hour so that I have no leakage. I am not being immature and I don’t think those who think this concept is gross is immature either. It’s a matter of opinion. Heck I would gross out if I had to wear a pad!!! To each her own. Those that love or who have been want to try them, I think this freebie is wonderful for all of you. It makes me say ewwww but again pads do too. Come to think of it I really hate that time of month anyway. What was the great man upstairs thinking…hee hee hee. I’m not negative everyone I promise. I am a super clean person and I need things during that time to be equally clean and tampons do that for me. Just my humble opinion.

      • E

The amount of waste you produce disgusts me.

        • E

There is absolutely no reason to change your tampon every hour. There is no way you are soaking a tampon every hour through out your period. Sleeping in a tampon is not good for you either.

Have you seen someone with TSS? I have. It isn’t pretty.

          • Susan Ornelas

Unless I bleed heavily (which I do for the first 8 to 10 hours) that is why I change every hour. Like I said we are all entitled to our own opinions and it’s not useful to throw stones at those who don’t see things your way.

I will go about helping the environment by doing what I have been but I draw the line on uncleanliness during my periods and again that’s my opinion.

I really hope that this product works well for those who want it. There is nothing worse then anticipating something and it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. I truly hope it works for everyone.

        • Tiphanie

E not everyone has to be like you! Not everyone has the same opinions as you. If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say nothing at all!!!!

          • E

            And your comment is useful…how?

          • M

Tiphanie, opinions are one thing, acting childish about a human bodily function is another. Makes me wonder how many of you have sex with your partners, you’re so freaked out by fluids.

  25. Nicole Dz.

Everyone does have their own opinions & likes, i have never tried cloth pads but i don’t mind trying something new 😉

    • Nicole Dz.

Maybe i won’t get to try this, i can’t get this to work at all, i get to this first page, and once i hit submit it just keeps spinning & then after a while i get “Internet explorer cannot display this page.”. Then it says i already submitted the form too many times. But i never got my sample. O well, i tried.

  26. Angela

I tried calling and got a message to re-try the order tomorrow and the site should be working. Hope they are still free tomorrow!

    • megan

It said through 4/31…plenty of time. 😉

      • Jen D

There is no 4/31. 30 days in April is all we get! 🙂

  27. Letty

I’m not sure what my opinion on the whole cloth vs disposable issue- but the name of the company totally make me LOL! Wasn’t expecting that….:)

  28. Anna

Our nation is so used to extreme cleanliness, that we are unsure of how to react towards something natural. I have often wondered about women in the past and how they dealt with their menstrual cycle. I am very glad to read everyone’s comments (the helpful ones at least) because I am really excited to try this now (if the site ever lets me on). I was quite grossed out when I saw the post, but as I am reading everything, I am ready to try it! If it causes my period to be slower and less painful, then I would definitely like to try it. And man – those disposable pads get itchy and cause rashes if my period lasts the full 7 days. I’m all for saving money, helping the environment, being more healthy, and feeling better during my periods. Yeah!

    • Sherri

I see what you are saying but I don’t think people realize exactly how clean these kinds of products can be… much cleaner than a pad or tampon you buy at the drug store. I also doubt you’d find one of these laying face open in a public bathroom stall all nasty where people don’t seem to care how they dispose of the disposable stuff. *eewwww*

      • Misti

oh a BIG amen to that!! who are these women?? and what would their mama say??!!!!!!!!!

    • Anonymous

If you’re interested in how things were done in the past, go to http://www.mum.org Very interesting website on the history of menstruation.

Also, the dryness and itchiness, the same thing happens to baby’s bottoms with disposable diapers, they just suck the moisture out of the skin. I am so glad I used cotton diapers on my babies.

      • Anon

I use disposable pads during my period and liners daily and I’ve never experienced dryness, itchiness, rashes or any of the other complaints people have shared. In fact I find bare undies uncomfortable because I don’t like any kind of damp feeling. I’m not trying to argue that it’s not possible, I’m just really suprised and wonder whether issue-free users are in the majority or minority.

        • Anna

when i took a Natural Family Planning class, the instructor told me to not use pantyliners when it’s not my period because the body releases more wetness when there is a liner. i did not want to give up my pantyliners, but tried it, and after a week or so, my body did not create as much moisture/leaking. there is a time of the month when you WILL have more discharge, but that is because you are more fertile in that time period (more mucus = more comfy coziness for the sperm to live in to reach the egg. God sure knew what He was doing when He created us!) when that time of fertility happens, i just use the bathroom an extra time or two each day just to wipe. not bad at all. much better than using the pantyliners that cause sweatiness and odor after a full day. or i suppose you could just use the liners during that time. sorry if this it too much info. 🙂 i’m only become more reactive towards pads in the last couple years. i didn’t use to get rashes, but i can totally relate to the poor babies’ bottoms!

          • Misti

wow Anna, thanks for the info! I also can’t stand that damp feeling and use liners…I’m going to see if giving them up works for me!

  29. shannon

I have never heard of the diva cup or these cloth pads. Where have I been? LOL.

  30. Jane

i use cloth pads and diva cup. I cant believe I ever used the paper pads. They stink, pull on your pubic hair and are discusting. I cloth diaper my kids and would never use paper diapers on them, so why would i use paper pads on me. Thank you!!

    • maria

      OMG that is freaking hilarious

    • ash

Omg I was crYing reading that!!! That is the funniest review I have ever read on this subjeCt, and the only one… But here I am laying in bed shaking trying not to laugh, and that makes iT morE funny…. Please please ppl go read this review you will just crack up!!!!

    • Felicia

Thank you so much for posting this, so funny, I was laughing so hard and trying to be quiet at the same time so DH didn’t ask what I was reading.

    • Andrea

OMG! That was not only funny. Freakin funny but very well written. Descriptive, informative, entertaining and WOW! Sounds like a romance writer wrote it sans the romance. I’m impressed.

    • Susan Ornelas

I needed a laugh. I have tears running down my face I laughed so hard. OMHeck, I have forward this to as many women I can find. Thanks for linking that.

    • Susan

Laughing so hard at this review…tears streaming down my face and husband calling from the other room wanting to know why! Now I’m going to have to try one of these things!

  31. Julie

yay!! Always wanted to try them!! I already CD my baby boy so I’ll just wash it up with them!
    Thanks Collin!

  32. mamabear

OMFG! I have had the best time reading these comments!! too hillarious…
at first i was like wth? what is this mess? but apparently i live under a rock,- well lets just say my mom was totally freaked out by talking about these things and i had to learn on my own. I never knew that these even existed untill now, and i am 24! lol!

I am interested in tryin these though-

ooh, and for the whole earth day -disposable debate, I have the most disgusting story: me and the hubs were walking up to a field one time, and part of it had been sprayed with that human waste– EWWW— and I saw these little white things in the distance but as I got closer I discovered that they were TAMPONS!!! I screamed like bloody murder in disgust and we got out of there ASAP! I was sooooooo grossed out !!!!! That has got to be -hands down- the most nastiest thing ever…. A whole field littered with used tampons!! Who knows what they were planning on planting or using that field for but that totally makes me want to grow my own EVERYTHING!!!! I mean they claim that that junk is clean and fine to spray on fields but after i saw the “tampon graveyard” you will never convince me otherwise!

So after that whole story, I am def. interested in using the cloth pads lol!!!!!!!

    • Crissy

      Now THAT is disgusting! LOL!

    • Misti

OH EWWW!!! seriously, I’ve heard of them spraying with human waster (there was a farm near me that sparked a huge debate) but I would NEVER have assumed it included anything like this!!

oh and mamabear-did you used to comment alot on the old navy weekly thread here? I think I remember you from those good old days 🙂

      • mamabear

I didn’t know anything about it either, they just always claimed it’s totally safe, been ran through processes and stuff like that but I promise it looked like a giant used a can of sprinkles and shook it all over the acres and acres of rolling hills… except instead of sprinkles it was used tampons. :X YUCK

And it could have been me, Ive been a reader for a long time- LOVE THIS SITE <3!!!!!!
Although there is another Mama Bear on here we just spell it different 🙂

  33. Amy

We are so disposable nowadays. If we don’t like it, we dump it because it’s easier than taking care of it the way we should. We even do this to the extent of compromising our health. Dioxin and Toxins – see the connection? Don’t mind putting toxins in our bodies if it makes life easier!

  34. Tiphanie

At first i was discusted, but now i’m very interested. My periods aren’t that heavy, so iwould like to give these a try. My hubby may be grossed out if he ever sees a used one though. ick

    • Anonymous

Why don’t you educate him. It’s not the dark ages. I’m much older than you and my hubby was never embarrassed to pick up my supplies at the store if he was doing the shopping. The subject was not one of embarrassment or ick or whatever. It’s a natural thing, part of our life.

    • Misti

well, if I understand the thing – the only way he’d see a used one is if you left it laying around..you have to take it out, empty it, clean it etc…so thats not a worry honey! try it if you think you’d like it!

  35. sheila

    just gross

  36. LC

There’s a thread going around on AFC about using cloth wipes instead of regular flushable toilet paper. That actually makes sense for #1 (prob not #2 lol) and I don’t see anything wrong with washable ‘party in your pants’ LOL. Too funny. When my period starts again I’m throwing a party! Thanks Colin and happy earth day!

  37. Jaime

Shipping is not free now – now it is $2.99. 🙁 Still might try one after all the debate though!

  38. Olivia Smith

I just tried to go back on the site to order and it said I had submitted the form the number of times allowed (3), but I never got confirmation. I guess I will just call? Anyone else have this issue?

    • Anna

      yes, me too

      • Olivia Smith

I just went on and it says they had to end the promotion early!! 🙁 UPDATE: Due to unbelievably overwhelming demand we have been forced to end this offer early. Thanks for your understanding and patience! After the dust has settled we will continue to offer our Cloth Pad Curious Liners for free + $2.99 shipping.

        • Misti

due to hip2save discussion section…we are out of samples…ROFL!

  39. Janel

When I click on what I want and click on add to cart it just keeps saying internet explorer won’t respond. I don’t know if they aren’t giving anymore out today or what. I would use this as a pantyliner but my periods are rather heavy and so I can’t imagine using anything other than tampons. I would definately use it as a pantyliner though.

  40. Tanya Ford

I am all about “going green” I even went out and bought more fabric bags today but this is really rediculous !!! I’m not bohemian and as long as someone is going so far as to make tampons for me I’m not gonna put anyone out of a job…and as long as Walgreens has RR and Tampax has coupons…I’m good 🙂
    Cloth TP !?!?!?!?!? OMG !! What’s next ?

    • Rebekah's DH

🙂 I am all about eating organic and going green as well….i just have my limits 🙂 to each their own but I am with ya Tanya!

    • E

Take a little time and look up the ingredients in tampons/pads. Do you really like the idea of shoving chlorine soaked synthetic fiber into your body, even if it is free?

      • Rebekah's DH

ok clearly you like these and that is great….don’t wanna fight with you…it just isn’t for me….just like you are more than welcome to use these it is ok if i choose not to, ok 🙂

        • E

I just don’t want to have to pay your medical bills when you get various gyn cancers from your years of synthetic tampon/pad use.

          • Rebekah's DH

            don’t worry you won’t i have insurance 🙂

          • Anonymous

Yeah, you may have insurance, but you won’t be feeling so snarky when you’re sick.

you’re right and you’re being kind to others. we can’t change any one’s idea. maybe you’ll want to try it down the road. maybe not. we each do our part, but not everyone has to do EVERY part. i’m gonna try it. and maybe i’ll look into trying some other ways to go paperless, but it’s baby-steps for sure. but i just wanted to say thanks for being kind.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Yes. Yes I do.

Maybe Collin should repost her “Mind Your Own Business” post. Just sayin…

    • Stephanie

      I know right?! sheesh

    • Anonymous

No one is EVER going to MYOB on the web, it just doesn’t happen because even though Collin took the time to write that post, all everyone did in answer to her was mind everyone else’s business.

If the website cooperates I’m going to give it a try, I’ve been curious about trying the cup, but had no clue these things where out there, what did women 100 years ago do, guess I’ll find out

    • Anonymous

Go to http://www.mum.org It will tell you what women did in past history.

I feel like I have learned so much reading all of the comments! Started off feeling super grossed out but, after reading a little more and going to some links people posted, I feel I have been educated tonight. Thanks Collin!

Me too! I appreciate those of you who politely shared the benefits of cloth pads and the tampon alternatives. I’d never heard of either before so at least I know that there are alternatives if I’m ever dissatisfied with what I’m using now. While I don’t think I’m ready to start using cloth pads, TP or even diapers, this discussion has reminded me that my actions can have a lasting effect and made me start looking for other ways that I can reduce my waste at least a little.

I am saddened by the few people who are choosing attack those of us who prefer disposables. Even the people saying “eww” or “not for me” are directing those comments at the concept, not at users of eco-friendly products. Comments about how you’ll be paying for our health insurance and our descendents will be literally wading through disease ridden waste are a bit extreme and, in my opinion, unnecessary. Calmly explaining the benefits in terms of health, comfort and financial benefits would be more persuasive.

Exactly, that individual obviously has many “issues” beyond being “tired”. Acting like a jerk rarely persuades anyone to change their views.

I do appreciate the sane folks who helped educate people on different options. 🙂

          Get a life.

    • Tina in Virginia

      Yes, me too!

  44. Tilla

I didn’t realize there was bad additives in pads and tampons, it seems unneeded. However, when I get my IUD out and start to have a cycle again, I think i’ll do my research on disposable products and see which ones are safest. I’d like to know this information anyway because I have 12, 10 and 6 year old daughters who should be informed. As far as the cup thing goes, if you’re an adult and clean and responsible sounds like a great option, but we had a teenage girl at the dance studio spill one everywhere and leave it; not safe and totally disgusting. Then had to call in a plumber, turns out there was another one someone had dropped clogging up the toilet.

Thank you to everyone who visited Partypantspads.com

I am the current IT service provider for this company. At the moment, the response to this promotion has been greater that 50% of the previous requests. This has cause a unusual load on the server. I will be working though the night to solve this issue.

    Thank you for your patience,

It’s after 7AM EST on Friday and one can still not order their product. Hope they get this thing fixed.

Hahaha – my DH is very supportive of me but stays away for himself 🙂

I got onto the site just this morning (6:27am IL time) and I cannot figure out how this works. It is costing me $9.99 before the shipping….sigh…I am definitely doing something wrong!

    • Jennifer

Same here! I finally gave up..

    • Babs

No, you’re not…..like all these offers, they got wayyyyyy too many people wanting the freebie and they now have a notice (hard to notice….in green print) that due to overwhelming amount of people, they’re having to discontinue the offer early. And they thank us for our understanding and patience. Well, ya’ know, I’m really getting tired of this……sorry, I just had to say that 🙂 After the dust settles (their words), they will offer a free pad with the $2.99 S+H.

Just for all those who are intested in living a bit more of a “cloth lifestyle” (I’m completely not pushing this, it’s only for those interested), I recently took the plunge in many areas of my home. No more paper towels or paper napkins. Cloth TP has just begun for #1 and I hope to be going strong with the cloth pads and cup combo very soon.

Here’s some blogs to maybe answer some of your questions:

I’m so glad this stirred up some conversation!
