Is the RR deal unadvertised? My paper only says its $1.75 but no mention of any RR

  2. susan

Are RR sometimes regional or unadvertised? My Walgreens flyer does not have the RR for the cereal but I didn’t know if that meant it didn’t apply to my region or if sometimes RR print for deals not in the flyer. Did the RR for the cereal appear in your flyer?

  3. Jessica

I did deal #2 all by myself today 🙂 so proud !!

    • Angie

That’s great! I love it when I can figure out deals based on the sale ad and the coupons I have on hand. : )

      • anonymous

        That’s wonderful!

Was the RR advertsed in your ad?

  4. lorine

My Walgreens had that same gillete body wash today for $4.49 with a $4.449 RR. The Old Spce body wash was the same thing. There is no limit, but you must do separate transactions, so I did 4 transactions. and it printed me out 4 $4.50 RR coupons. So 4 body washes FREE! I can’t believe they don’t have a limit..I might go back and get more.

    • megan

They technically do have a limit. Check the ad. 😉

  5. Shosh

i know there was a national catalina for post, but today was the last day…is this the same one or will this one be woring tomorrow also?

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you know, this is completely ripping the store off

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s not ripping the store off because they get reimbersed for the price of the coupon. They are advertizing for their RR, and they know that coupon is out there. The stores do these type of deals to lure us into the store in hopes that we will buy regular priced stuff.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

which we do (buy stuff at regular price) all the time.

    • Leighann

      Obvious troll is obvious.

      • jodi

And I would like to add the Walgreens here has signs that says “no limit” signs “ask us how” on RR Free products. They are trying to generate more money and when they don’t allow us to make 2 + transactions, we don’t usually have the time to come back and they lose out on stock they’ve ordered to prepare for the sale and then what happens?nothing…..they get left with leftovers.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

lucky you not at mine they look at you funny if you buy more then one.

      • Jane C

lol. yes indeed, dang trolls >=[

    • Cathy

You are very WRONG is saying that this is ripping off the store! First of all, the manufacturer has sold this deal/promotion into Walgreens. The manufacturer is paying for the redemption of any coupons plus .08-.12 handling per coupon. PLUS, the manufacturer is paying for the resemption of the Register Rewards (with handling). PLUS often the manufacturer is paying Walgreens (or whatever store) a fee to be in their Ad Circular, a fee sometimes for display locations.

Promotions are driven by the manufacturers and Walgreens together – with the manufacturer wanting to increase their share of sales at Walgreens and Walgreens wanting you to come into their store to purchase vs. Target, CVS, etc.

      This is Sales and Marketing.

We are the consumers doing the purchasing and NOT ripping them off!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you are so right some cashiers are rude and dont follow the rules and walgrens is the worse they know were gettin it free when they wont take a coupon or jack up the price when there is a good coupon i email the manfature let them know and also i always ask if theres anymore in the back because some are lazy or whatever and dont restock i have been a couponer lol for several years its a win win situation for all involved includiin the store even though the some act like your taking the money outta theyre pocket ty all for all the help i love hip 2 save have a good day all happy shoppin

Off topic, is anyone getting to use their expired RR? I have tons of them. I used to get to use them but now they won’t take them anymore. I’m not liking wags anymore cuz they expire so soon. I may just stick w/cvs from now on since those never expire. My fav store due to magic cpn machine and emailed cpns. I’m in TX.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Wags has never allowed me to use expired RR so you got lucky you were able to do it for a while.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My wags does take them, and they know they are expired, even the manager has taken them 🙂

    • Shelly G.

off topic, but where are you at in texas? Im in Fort Worth, and never tried to use expired RR’s so I am not sure if it would work where I am or not. I have always just thrown them away when i found they were expired oops.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m in Mcallen, Texas, but I’m not sure what part of texas cuc is from 🙂

        • Misty

My CVS no longer takes expired ECB, I’m in Texas

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My sister used her expired wags at the grocery store uscan

  8. Meghan

Does someone know the answer regarding th $3 RR on Post?? It is not mentioned in my flyer? Is it regional?

  9. Tina

Is the RR on the Post cereals unadvertised? It doesn’t mention it in my ad.

  10. Mindy

My ad only says 1.75 for the cereal. Is the RR unadvertised?

  11. Deeds

When I tried to print the Post $2.00 coupon after signing up for newsletter, it said it was an invalid link. Did anyone else have that problem??

  12. Joy

My Walgreens does not have the body wash on clearance but it is producing a $1.50 coupon plus the RR so next purchase will be a $1.50 moneymaker! 🙂

  13. anonymous

Did anyone get the RR to print for the cereal deal? If so, was it advertised in your ad?

I just tried this and it didn’t print but my ad did not have this advertised but I decided to try anyway.

If you did get a RR can you say if there’s an end date on it for how long this promotion goes till?

    • Tabitha

I tried today & no RR for the post cereal!

  14. Stefanie F

my wags flyer out here in hawaii doesnt advertise the RR for the cereal and the flyer has the cereal priced at 2.25 a box. anyone out here try to see if they got the RR for it? i am gonna go this week but not sure if it is worth it.

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m going to ignore the un-educated comment above!
We went and did this deal last night and made $3.25 after RR. We got the (2) Post cereal, (2)Aussie shampoo , (2) Gillette body wash, (3) Dawn dishwashing soap, & (1) Colgate pro-clinical toothpaste..Thanks HIP2SAVE!

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

this deffinetly does not work for the cereal…i am trying to learn to roll my rrs but now i have none since i tried that deal

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just so anyone knows, my Kroger takes the RR and they are not picky about date. They have 30 days to turn them in for reimbursement from the manu and TECHNICALLY, the RR is a manu q. I use them at the market when they are expiring or a day or two old or when I don’t want to keep rolling in circles at Walgreens. I find that even getting an item for free, you spend more money at Wags than any other store, just having to roll and use fillers for items you don’t need. Just my opinion.

    • kim

I’ve used mine at Kroger too, and Meijer. Haven’t tried to use expired ones, but good to know. I find it easier to use them at the grocery store than try and roll them at Wags, that’s just a pain since you have to have an item to match with them.

  18. Kelly B.

Went and bought lots of cereal and NO RR printed….BUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. Kiesha

My local Wags does not have the Gillette on clearance but there is another scenario you can make money on, I did it twice today.

Buy Gillette Odor Shield Deodorant 4.99
Buy Gillette Body Wash 4.49 (free after coupon below)
use 1 $2/1 Gillette Odor Shield Deodorant
use buy Gillette Deodorant get Body Wash free
pay 2.99 and get back 4.50 RR, free + MM

  20. Foreversaving

Hi Kim and Anonymous where are you guys from? I wonder if my Kroger in Plano, Tx would take the RR too. This would be awesome. This weekend I made over $ 60,00 in RR.
Also, I got the $ 3,00 RR on the cereal yesterday.

    • Kim

I’m from Ohio. Most RR’s say that they are Man Q’s, so you shouldn’t have a problem.

  21. Anne

ya I went to Walgreens too..didn`t get the $3 RR either..oh well, still pretty cheap at $1.25 a box..look at a grocery store when it is not on sale, it is usually $3-4 by us in Illinois or Wisconsin..

  22. Diane

    Kiesha

Where did you find this coupon

    $2/1 Gillette Odor Shield Deodorant

    Thanks…

    • Janet

It was in the 5/16 RP.

  23. JR911

Yep, ran out right afer I saw this post yesterday to do the Post cereal deal and no luck.,….no RR. Ended up paying $1.25 each for 4 boxes….not too happy with that price so I ess I have to take it back :o(

  24. foreversaving

Hi Kim I went to Kroger today but they don’t accept the RR from Walgreens. The manager never heard about it.

    • Amy

Funny because mine takes them without any problems because they say manufacturer’s coupon on them.

    • Kim

I’ve had no problem with RR’s at Kroger or Meijer. And I’ve had friends try it too. Did you try it or just ask? The manager may not be aware. I would go back and try it. The manu. pays for it so it shouldn’t be an issue.

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If the RR was printing on Sunday for the cereal, it was a mixup with the catalina coupon company. The company made a mistake and put in the cereal for RR and the cereal wasn’t on RR this week.
