Important "Follow Me Monday" Update + 4 Readers Win Flip Camcorders!
As most of you know, I have created a “Follow Me Monday” video almost every Monday since September of 2009. Although I love making the videos and know that many of you appreciate them, they are extremely time-consuming. Not only do I have to plan and outline the video and then film the actual video, but I also have to edit each video (which takes forever) and then upload the video to YouTube. This whole process literally takes up the majority of my weekend. With summer break just around the corner, I have made the decision to stop creating the “Follow Me Monday” videos EVERY Monday. This does not mean that I won’t make any videos during the summer… if I come across a topic that I feel would be worth filming about, then I will definitely take the time to create a video for you. At this point, I am just giving myself permission to take a break from the weekly filming; so that I can spend more time with my hubby and kiddos. I hope you all understand.
So now that I have done my complaining for the day 😉 , I have a request for all of you. Since I will not be making videos every week during the summer, I am hoping to be able to broadcast videos made by Hip2Save readers each Monday. I am challenging all of you to film a video (10 minutes or less) about couponing, snagging deals, living a frugal life… really anything that you think would appeal to Hip2Save readers. Once you have created the video, please upload it to YouTube and then email the video link to bryn@hip2savedotcom. If we choose your video, you will receive a $50 Amazon E-card.
