Every time I go to my Walgreen’s they never let me this coupon book and a manufacturer coupon. The register won’t let it go through and the cashier always says no to it.
Make sure you give them the man Q FIRST and it should go thru on the register. And you are definitely allowed to do it. I would get the Walgreens # Collin posted awhile back and have it on hand and call while you are there so the cashier can learn the policy!!!
I guess i need to call. I’ve had the manager come up b/4 and he says the same thing…no go.
Try making sure that the cashier scans that Walgreens coupon before scanning the MQ. It will beep less that way.

Couldn’t agree more. I thought that about this weeks deals/ads for stores too. idk. Maybe its because a lot of deals are on the things I am so stocked up on for the next year.. lol
I did VERY WELL at Wags today. if you are in the Jacksonville area, go to the one at Country Club and Western, in the mornings, at the front register. I’m trying to remember the girl’s name…Melissa? MIchelle? ANyway, she ROCKS! She’s a younger woman (early 20’s) who is a couponer herself. She is also a hip2saver, I found out today!

My Wags did the same thing last night – wouldn’t take the $2 WG coupon and my $1.50 coupon for Lil Swimmers. Even the manager/supervisor came up and told me the Walgreens coup was a manufacturer coupon. Ummm no – there is no address for it to be mailed to. But the machine beeped – so I assume it was correct, guess I need to find that phone number.
Yeah the machine always beeps for some reason if they scan the store Q first. It has to be done in the order of Man Q THEN Store Q. If they do it that way you shouldn’t have any problems. I would seriously call. That was such a great deal on the Little Swimmers!!!
If you were buying the Little Swimmers only and nothing else, the coupon may have beeped because you had more items than q’s (1 product / 2 coupons). Otherwise it should have gone through without a hitch.

Belly bar has a PDF coupon out there that expires 12/31/2010 and it’s good for $3 off Bellybar products, including the chews! a good stacker for sure. not sure what the original price is on the chews, but $5 off is better than $2 off!

Unfortunately, the Wags coupon is for the chewable vitamins, not the chews.
My Walgreens won’t let me combine one of these “store” coupons with a manufacturer coupon because in the fine print it states, ” Manufacturer coupon good only at Walgreens”. Is it worth calling corporate to complain, or is my store correct in not combining them?
Yes, defintely let corpoarate know that that location needs addtional training on their coupon policies. I have when I’ve run into this problem. The Walgreens barcode on the coupons as well as their own ads advertising their prices which also state “additional savings in most Sunday papers” is a clear indication that these coupons can be stacked and are even encouraged to be stacked!
