Awesome skin care scenario, I just got finished with mine but I swear, yours are always better. 🙂 I just wanted to let you know that there is a bonus $5 gift card attached to the skin care SCR if you use your Wellness+ card when purchasing all your items. That would make your scenario a moneymaker!

    • mary

Thanks for all the match ups. I did 3 transactions and spent 11.00 OOP for 60.00 of product. I always used coupons but your site has taken me to a new level. I have 2 large boxes of personnel products that i am going to donate to a womens shelter this week. keep the deals coming!!!!

  2. Lindy

Be care as to using (2) Rite Aid Physician’s Formula $5 q’s in one transaction. It states on the coupon “limit 1 per customer”. I love their bronzers, so I’m boing to try it!

  3. KevinS

Check the math on the diaper deal…

    • Bonnie

I think the total that she showed ($6.68) reflects the price after you subtract the $11.49 for the free pack of diapers 🙂

  4. Melinda P

For the skin care gift card deal, it says if you use your wellness card, you’ll get a bonus $5 on the gift card. 🙂

  5. Jenny

The information under the Rite Aid Skin Care Rebate #555 says “Rebate based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used).” I’ve never noticed this on a rebate before…. can we still get the rebate if we bring our total below $50 with coupons? Let me know! Thanks!

    • Melody

Jenny – I have seen this twice before, generally on their bigger rebates (like the allergy rebate a few months ago). Both times it has worked for me with the total well under $50 using coupons. I guess you never know, this time could be different, but I wouldn’t worry about it!

    • Jo

Actually they did this when they had the Healthy Heart Rebate that ran in February and March, it stated the same thing and only the prices I actually paid registered on the rebate site. So since this has happened to me with that rebate, I am going to first buy just the Coppertone and see how it registers for my rebate. If it goes through for more than $2.99, I will go for the rest of it.

  6. Maggie

The $5 off Physician’s Formula coupon says “limit one per customer.” This deal may not work with 2 of these Qs — YMMV.

  7. DEREK

I was at Rite Aid yesterday and saw the Men’s Nivea body wash was $7.49, not $5.99 (even though it’s that much online)…so just a heads up that it might be a little more than you were anticipating! I hope it somehow goes down to 2.99 tomorrow though!

    • Tara S

7.49 for a body wash? can you imagine paying that much! I dont EVER buy it unless its free or a MM lol

      • DEREK

Seriously! That’s like paying for toothpaste! Silly people! 😛

    • Rachel

My Rite Aid has 2 prices for the Nivea for Men bodywash. $5.49 and $5.99. The ad states ‘priced from $5.99 – $18.99’. Neither of them rang up with the $3.00 off as stated in the ad. The $5.99 should have, though, so my clerk adjusted it.

  8. Diana

    For the diaper deal,
“Use the $1/1 May Video Values coupon found here (expiring 5/29!)”
So you can’t really use it if the sale starts on the 30th, right? cos the coupon would’ve been expired, wouldn’t it??

    • Emily

She means that you won’t be able to print the video values coupon after 5/29, since the coupons are probably going to reset tomorrow. The actual Huggies coupon does not expire until 6/30.

      • Julie S.

You can print them after 5/29, but you can’t watch/earn it after then. The coupons are valid through June

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The final price on the diaper deal is wrong:

    It should be–
    Deal 1#: 11.97 + Deal 2#: 9.98 = 21.95
21.95 -Free Huggies Coupon (11.49) & $2 SCR = 8.46 for five diapers and two wipes.

  10. Alicia

I saw on the sunglasses $10.00 rebate that it is good for any of the Style Science and the foster grant. I still have my 5.00 Foster Grant that doesn’t expire till 6/30…so buy the style science at 12.99 and a kids foster grant at 6.99, and you will have a good MM on your hands! I plan to use for diapers! ! !

    • Katie M.

I went to buy my children some sunglasses about a week ago. They were $5.99 each and I had 2 coupons for $5 off the foster sunglasses. When I went to checkout they were on clearance for $1.49. The clerk wouldn’t let me use the coupon. I still thought that was a pretty good deal on sunglasses- especially with the foster sunglasses $2 rebate.

  11. Shain D.

Is anyone else having trouble finding the Rite Aid .50 cents off $5.00 snack coupon that was referenced under Food .. Nonnie Biscottis. I have a video values account and didn’t see if there either.

    • brittany

it is a wellness + coupon log into your wellness + account and go to your coupons

  12. Alicia

Pretty sure ours are still 5.99…but it has been a week or two since i looked…I will check before i buy…thanks for the heads up..but if still Full price, will work I think.

    • Mrs. B

our foster grants were 5.99 marked but rung up 1.49…so definately check :0

      • MoKeaton

I hope they are $5.99 here. Hopefully with the $4 of Q, only $1.99. Fingers crossed!

  13. Pru

If I had three hours I might read that Rite-Aid postings. Yawn.

    • Jenny

Thanks Hip2Save for giving us a great Rite Aid breakdown every week. You save me tons of time! Thanks for all your efforts.

  14. Pru

Why would anyone ever shop at a drugstore unless you didn’t have access to transportation? Their prices are notoriously high!!! I did sign up for a CVS card a while back because it looked like they had some good saving opportunities. However, it was quite complicated to actually get the savings in hand and required more than one trip into the store BEFORE a certain date. I lost out on that one and pitched the little card on my key chain. I don’t need the aggravation.

    • Melody

I’m sorry to comment here, but you WOULD shop at a drugstore like Rite Aid if you took the time to read the post. They have awesome savings that take a little bit of planning, but are totally worth it. I’m curious to know where you buy your toiletries, hair care, medicine and how much you spend? I spend next to nothing and have a HUGE stock of these items, enough to be able to donate to those less fortunate as well. Just curious..

      • Pru

Toiletries, medicine and most other items I stock up on I buy at the nearest military commissary (Fort Lee, in Petersburg, Va) since I am a retired military veteran. Otherwise I buy at BJ’s Wholesale Club where I am a member, Kroger (in a pinch), and sometimes Walmart for their Equate brand meds. I admit I could take the time to read the posts more, but my time is limited with working a full-time job and raising a six year old. I also buy pet supplies for my dogs and cats at Petsmart, where I have a shopper’s card. I only buy there when I have coupons. Enough said. If I can find time, I will read a Rite Aid post more closely. Thanks for the info.

    • Allison

because they get things for free all the time…nuff said.

      • Pru

Free is one thing. Getting something for free that I would ordinarily have to buy is another. Free isn’t worth that much to me if it’s not something I am going to use.

        • john

I am a single father of a 7 year old and while it does take a little more time when you start out being a serious couponer, like anything else, the more you practice the more adept you become at it. It usually takes me 5 minutes a night to scroll through the daily posts and an hour on Saturday night to get together the coupons and deals for Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens, Target, Harris Teeter, etc. I can usually complete my shopping trip Sunday morning in less than an hour and a half round trip. There are occasions that may go a little extra if I have to drop back and punt when the store is out of a particular item I am after and I have to restructure my deals. The way I look at it, for every $1 I save I would have to earn $1.25 or better with taxes taken out, plus I can donate item I wouldn’t use, like Stayfree Panty Liners this week I got for free to the local Women’s Shelter and write the full price off on my taxes at the end of the year and help out others in need, not to mention show them that all men are not scumbags.

Just my 2 cents, and I have a lot of sense to dispense thanks to COLLIN!!!!

          John

          • Emily

            John, LOVED your reply. 🙂

          • Pru

            John,
I come to the conclusion that we are both serious couponers, albiet in a different style. I am going to take the advice of one poster here and look further into Rite-Aid. I tried CVS and give up on them and their tactics. (See earlier posting.) As for the tax deduction for dontated items, I hadn’t thought of that…and I am an accountant, although not a tax accountant.

I spend a lot of time before coupons shopping trips going through the stack of coupons I have accumulated from friends and my father-in-law. I make one trip for coupon shopping and use others every chance I get. I posted the other day that I estimated that I had save more than $3,000 in the past eight years. But, after conferring with my wife, I now say I’ve probably double that, if not more. Couponing is well worth it and I’m always in search of ways to get better at it.

I printed 4 $5 off $25 coupon from watching the videos. Can I use all off them in 4 different transaction? Are am I allow to use the coupons for only 1 transaction, since it’s the same coupn with my name on it.
    Thanks!

    • Julie S.

I would probably only use 1 of each different type of coupon during your visit. There were 2 different save $5/off $25, and the monthly (May/June) save $5/off $20. That makes 4 different coupons that you could use… and sometimes there are the Rite Aid $5/off $25 on coupons.com or RedPlum-online.

If you use multiples of the same ones, the store could deny then, and then be picky with all of your other coupons.

  16. SweetAsSugar

    Opps, I meant $5 off $20 coupon.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That would be a great deal on the diapers, IF they were $8.99, but they’re not. They are $11.99. I know this because when I went last week to get the awesome deal (dragged my kids there, took time out of my day, etc), they were $11.99. Luckily Walgreens is across the street, so I was able to get the deal there. Still, was kind of annoyed…

    • Melody

They are $8.99, it’s printed right in the ad. They weren’t on sale last week.

    • john

Make sure you are using your wellness card to get the prices as well

    • millicent

yep, on sale this week and it’s in the ad.

  18. Tee

I know this is off topic but I wanted to see if this happened to anyone else. I checked my Tropicana rewards this morning and it showed a refund of my points and a -5 points beside the box for Get Rewards. Did this happen to anyone else?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Your right on mine it says deal of the day BONUS REWARD so I think we are still getting our free o.j at least I hope!!!!!!!!!!!

    • MoKeaton

I checked mine, and it said -5 for the deal of the day, and then it said +9 refund for deal of the day, giving me 4 extra points. Are we not still getting the deal of the day?

  19. Julie

Where is the $10.00 Video Value coupon for Style Science sunglasses? I’m only showing a $4.00 coupon.

    • Bonnie

I don’t think there is a $10 coupon. There is a $10 Single Check Rebate when you purchase Two (2) of Any Variety:
      • Style Science or Foster Grant Sunglasses

Hope this helps. Looks like you can use the $4 VV coupon to get a sweet deal. 🙂

    • Leah

The $10 off coupon was in the May coupons that expire June 30th. They are no longer available to get, you had to already have watched the video before they changed them all yesterday.

  20. Jennifer

Just got back from Rite aid my nivea bodywash is not 3.00 off, but the Style Science polar vision sunglasses are 12.99 was able to use 2 10,00VV coupons so my total was 6.00 then I can submit for 10 SCR so 4.00MM

  21. Kim

So this is what i did today:
    2 jumbo packs of pull ups @ 8.99 = 17.98
    1 Herbashine Haircolor = 5.99
    minus
    2 pull ups coupons @ 2.00 each
5 off 20 rite aid coupon
2 off herbashine from red plum
    2 off herbashine video coupon

    Total $10.97 + 1.33 tax = 12.30

Total Savings with sale and coupons $22.00
    Woop Woop!!!!!

  22. becky

The Nivea mens body wash ws $4.99 at my store so not eligible for the rebate ($5.99 and up) also the wipes were $3.49, not 2 for $5…still got 6 packs of diapers, 2 wipes, and a ball for my daughter for $29’ish minus the $2 rebate and the coupon for the free pack of diapers…so still a great deal 🙂

    • Carrie

I’m glad someone else saw this about the wipes. I decided not to buy them at 3.49 each… Oh well! 🙂

      • Emily

Double check the prices on the wipes. I was in the other day and almost didn’t buy them for the same reason – no sale price listed – BUT I checked the price at the register just to be sure. Turns out that some sales are only available if you use your wellness card. Once I put my card in, the sale price of $2.50 came up. I find this very confusing and I’m not happy with Rite Aid about it. 🙁

Anyway, I hope this helps someone! Always always check the prices AFTER your wellness card!

        • Elizabeth Ward

I have the best checker at my rite aid and she explained to me that the prices on line are not always what the prices will be in the store so you have to double check. The wipes were 3.49 at my store too.

    • Serafina

Sadly, the Nivea for Men deal does not work for me in CA! The $3 off is only on products priced over $5.99 and the 2 types of BW in my store are priced at $4.99 and $5.49. I was locked out of this deal, too! So, you can still do the Rebate, but this week you are paying full price less your coupons. Not very thrifty, but I did see this deal on several blogs and was SO sad it’s a dud. You can’t win them all, I suppose!

  23. Bonnie

Has anyone been successful in finding the Nivea for $5.99 @ Rite Aid?

    • john

not here in northern va either, so went to Walgreens where they are 2.99, bogo on sale so free with 2 $3/1 coupons!!!

  24. millicent

the mgr at my store said the men’s body wash isn’t included in the $3 off, even though the women’s is 🙁

    • Anni

Crazy – I had the same problem at my Rite Aid. The manager came over and would not let me do the body wash deal even after I showed him the ad. He refused to give me the $3 off. I called HQ and they said that he was wrong and they’d have the district manager give me a call. Well…. today the same guy I’d had the run in with (not the district manager) called me. I was excited to hear his voice since I was told he was wrong by HQ. Instead of offering me the deal, though, he said, “I thought you understood when you walked out that the body wash wasn’t part of the sale.” I told him HQ said it was. He said, “Who at HQ? If you called the 1-800 number they have no clue what they’re talking about. They’re wrong. It’s not.” UGH!!!!

      • Amy

I ended up getting 6 of the Nivea for Men Face washes which were $5.99 and had the $3 off. Then I had 6 $2/1 coupons for any Nivea mens face product. The total was $5.94, so $.94 after the $5 rebate. Nothing like the moneymaker, but still a good deal.

  25. Leah

LOVE YOUR SITE!! You do SUCH A GREAT JOB! Thanks so much for sharing all your ideas with the rest of us!

  26. KRR

I can’t find the $10 VV coupon for style science sunglasses. Can someone help?

  27. Kristin

I was at 2 different rite aids earlier. Neither the women’s or men’s nivea body wash was $3 off. They both came up full price.

    • Jules

Did you use your wellness card at check-out?

  28. susanna

I just got back from right aid and yes you can only use one coupon on the physicians formula make-up but it still came out to be a really good deal.I got two concealers for $4.00

  29. Maria D.

Look out for “TRY ME FREE” stickers on the SURE bottles. Potential moneymaker.

  30. Lisa

Wooohooo, I just have to share, I scored on Huggies diapers today! I bought 5 packages of diapers, plus after scr’s I’ll get another free, so 6 packages of huggies, for $2.32 per package, which breaks down to abotu 8 cents per diaper. Well worth my time and energy cutting the coupons and organizing myself to pull it off!

    • Lisa

Actually, I realized I forgot to factor in my additional $2 rebate which means I paid $1.99 per package, $0.06 per diaper. That’s an awesome 85% off of regular price!!!!

  31. Stacey Bee

Does anyone know if the Huggies Wipes are 2 for $5.00 this week? I went in this morning…no sale tag…not in ad…asked to price check …after scanning wellness card…came up $3.49 each. Does anyone know something I don’t know? Collin said they are 2 for $5.00? Thanks 🙂

    • Maria D.

After reading the posts it looks like only certain areas have the wipes at 2/$5.00. If your store doesn’t have them on sale (like mine) you will need to add $1.98 to your OOP cost. I think it is still a good deal for 6 packages of diapers and 2 tubs of wipes.
If the cost of the wipes are a little to pricey, you could always subsitute another Rite Aid deal on the lst to bring the total to $25.00 to use the Rite Aid $5 off coupon.(Maybe you can use the Sure deodorant deal with the Ziploc deal. I that should bring you to the $25.00 mark before coupons) I hope that helps.
I also noticed in the posts that some people are getting the 2/$5 deal when they use the Rite Aid wellness card. I used mine but didn’t get the deal. That’s why I think it is just certain areas in the country.

  32. kelly

Nivea does not work for me either. I will be heading back to rite aid to return all of this. I looked at my reciept and it did not work for me! 🙁

  33. Helen

I tried to use the target manufacturer coupons listed for the huggies deal and my rite aid said they no longer accept manufacturer coupons like that. Is that corporate policy? Thank you for your input.

    • Tracy

I called corporate awhile back about this and was told that if it has another stores logo on it then it is considered a competitors coupon, which they do not accept. HTH.

  34. Heather Chappell

My Rite Aid wouldn’t accept the Huggies coupons printed from the Target website, even though they are manufacturer coupons. Just FYI! Probably depends on the store.

  35. amy

are the sunglasses on sale for 12.99 or are they always 12.99? because they are not in my sales flyer? thanks

  36. rebekah

  37. Mary

    Hoping someone reads this…

I just submitted my receipt online for 3 packs of Huggies. It already qualified me for the voucher. How is this possible?

    • Rachel

This particular offer has been running since 4/23. Any chance you bought Huggies between 4/23 and today?

      • Mary

I thought I hit reply, but it created a new comment. See #39 lol.

  38. Mary

I thought about that too. And I don’t think so. And when I click on details it only comes up with the receipt from this weekend. Maybe I did buy some…. hmmm now I am racking my brain!

  39. Sherri

Has the coupon policy changed recently? I just went in to Rite Aid, after mapping out 2 transactions that would get me some great stuff for a super great price. I would have been using clipped q’, printed q’s, rite aid in-ad, and video reward q’s (also money off). When I start my first transaction the cashier, who was very nice, said, I know I can take the clipped Q’s but you can only use one of the printed q’s. I asked her again because none of them were questionable, none of them were repeats, etc. She called an associate over and they reiterated what she said then pointed to their sign that stated “Rite Aid will accept printed coupons. One printed coupon will be accepted for each transaction”. SO I couldn’t use most which meant I couldn’t use my $5 off $20. I looked on their website to see if I could find the policy but can’t seem to get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Everyone was nice but I am irked that I spent all that time to find out the store won’t accept. I might try to go to another one and do the same transaction to see if it is just this one store. They even piped up and said that an employee was fired bc he allowed more than one….I kind of think that is far fetched but you never know I guess.

    • Mary

If you go to the store guides, on this site, Collin has a link to their policy. It sounds like the store you were in had the old policy. You can always call customer service as well. I had a store tell me they would not take ANY printed coupons. No VV, No $ off, No internet because “someone could make a copy” I called customer service, got a call from the district manager and she apologized and stated she would be talking to the store. However, thankfully I am close to about 7 rite aids between work & home so I avoid that one. I know which ones are coupon friendly and which ones aren’t!

      • Sherri

Thanks Mary! They were very nice, but just not able to do it. It is a small store and they really didn’t have stuff in stock that I needed but I think I’ll try another one.

  40. Linda

Does anyone know if the mens Nivea body wash also qualify for the skincare

  41. Rachael

At my Rite Aid today I was able to get the Physicians Formula deal into a MM! I bought the Bamboo Wear Compact (which had a TRY ME FREE PEELIE on it), and the bronzer to go inside. It was buy one get one 50% off. So I paid 9.95 for the bronzer and then 3.49 (half off of 6.95) for the compact. I used (2) 5.00/1 Rite Aide Physicians Formula coupons & (2) 1.00/1 coupons, and paid around 1.50, but then I submitted the peelie for 3.49 back for the bronzer, so I made 2.00! Yay! 🙂
