WOW! The already sweet Nivea For Men Active 3 Body Wash deal gets even sweeter! You see, the Nivea For Men body wash is reportedly ringing in buy one get one FREE. If this is fact the case, then you should be able to do the following deal:

Buy 2 Nivea For Men Active 3 Body Wash 16.9 oz. $5.99 each
Minus B1G1 Free sale = $5.99 total
Plus, buy an inexpensive “Filler” item ($0.25 or less)
Use 2 $3/1 Nivea coupons from the 5/2 RP (supposedly the second coupon will NOT beep! 🙂 )
Pay around $0.25 for the “Filler” item
Get back a $6 Register Reward
Final Cost all of the above FREE + around a $5.75 moneymaker!

**Please note: This may not be ringing in buy one get one free at ALL locations, so leave a comment letting us know your location and if this in in fact on a B1G1 sale. Also, I would recommend having the cashier do a price check first (before you follow through with the transaction). That way no money or time will be wasted.

my wags (3 of them in driving distance) have been out of the neutrogena bar soaps since day one, and i check back daily. I believe they pulled them on purpose to prevent this deal

    • Jennifer

I work at Wags and we have been out of it since day 1 too… all it takes is one customer because we only carry a few of these at a time (now a huge seller normally). The warehouse is out as well.

  2. sandi

anyone know how to use coupons on the all detergent that is on sale?

  3. RebekahNicole05

It worked in Republic, MO, but the store manager overheard about it and said I could only have one!!! She said that it was a computer error! That’s ok, I have plenty of family members I can send in on my behalf 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s good to find someone else from Republic, MO! how funny! Thanks for the insight! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Republic, MO!!!! I live in Aurora! So, Republic is my closest Wags!! How cool!

I live in upstate northern New York and the Nivea for men Active 3 shower, shampoo, shave bodywash did work on B1G1 free plus RR. The Nivea sport body wash however did not ring in B1G1 free at least not in that store.

  5. laura c

Im in Wesley Chapel, FL, and my receipt says BGLP next to it too, but the cashier didnt mention anything about the BOGO. I just called, and the store manager said it was a mistake on the computers part or something. He said they are trying to correct the problem. He told me I could come back with the item, and RR to try to re-ring the items up to see if they would do the BOGO, but he wouldn’t promise anything!

  6. ali

wouldn’t it make more sense to do 2 separate trans than to use 2 coupons together? that way you would get 4 body washes instead of 2 with the same amount of overage. i.e.:
buy 2 body washes @5.99 each
    use 1 $3/1 coupon
    -5.99 with bogo sale
oop is 2.99 with $6 RR coming out
then do it again for a total of 4 body washes and a $6 MM, without having to find a filler. this is all assuming your wags is friendly like mine and doesn’t limit you to one body wash per person. also, i thought that nivea body wash for women was on megasaver all month for bogo, so maybe you could do one mens and one womens and get the womens for free and the full RR on the mens?? i’ll try tomorrow at my store. 🙂

    • Stacey

I guess its a personal preference. Personally Id rather buy 2 Nivea body washes if they were on bogo and use 2 x $3/1 Q’s that way it turns into a Penny MM then buy a candy bar for .39 so you oop would be .38 vs $2.99 with 6 RR’s back. If you did the deal 2 times you would get 4 bw’s for .76 oop with $12 RR’s back

    Worked in Northwest Indiana.

  8. Sandy

Nivea BOGO deal working in Milwaukee, WI but only on the Shower, Shampoo and Shave Active 3.

Didn’t work in Madison, WI… but – used a $3 coupon and got the $6 RR… so still a sweet deal!

      • Jenny

Didn’t work for me in Madison, either.

  9. angela

It worked for me in the northwest state of washington. I bought 2 and one was free and I used 2 $2 coupons and got a register reward. I did this 2x’s with no beeping. Neutrogena soap was totally out and the manager said she would order more and save them for me. SWEET!!! I love my walgreens.
    ang

  10. Chitra

Neutrogena bars were out at my place too (Southern Illinois – 62901). Also we did not get the $5/1 Schick razor coupon, instead we got a $10/1 Norelco Speed/Arctic shaver and $5/1 Norelco replacement heads!

  11. Melissa

Nivea BOGO deal was working today around 2 pm in Redmond, OR.

  12. jesicca77

It worked for me in Austin TX. What sucks is that the cashier never told me anything about it at the first walgreens. Then I read this article and went to another walgreens and sure enough it was B1G1. I might take the first 2 back tomorrow.

  13. BB

It WORKED in Iowa (Waverly) at 6PM tonight!

    • fla_gen

Thank you soooo much. Didn’t have any $3/1 q’s, so this is just about as good and beats $1/1. Thanks for generously sharing!

  14. Mary

Nives B1G1 worked for me in Warrensburg, Mo. at our Walgreens . I used a $4.00 off two that I had and got a $6.00 RR. I tried it the second time and it did not give me 1 free, only the $6.oo RR. I paid for them with last weeks RRs from Old Spice & Gillette!

    • Lisa

I used to live in Concordia, MO! WOW! Small world… You’re probably the only person I’ll ever “meet” that will know where the heck I am talking about, lol. With the exception of my history teacher in high school (in Memphis). He was teaching one day and mentioned the Fighting Orioles and that he used to live in Warrensburg, I got so excited I interrupted his lecture, and we started randomly talking about things. Everyone in class was like WTF? and labeled me as the teacher’s pet. I didn’t care, now I knew why I liked the teacher so much and why he was so cool! 🙂

      so, HI THERE!

  19. mars7282

went to 4 wags in west michigan yesterday (before I knew about the deal) My receipts from 2 stores showed it should have been bogo, but the other 2 stores did not (for the same kind, not the sport).

  20. Rebecca L

In Waterford, MI, this is ringing up as B1G1 free. I did this last night, 6/13. Although, I only had 1 $3 coupon left, it was still and nice money maker! Happy Shopping!

    • Nichole

I stopped by the Walgreen’s on Dixie Hwy in Waterford last night and they did not have the BOGO offer. It still a great by with the $6.00 register reward and the $4.00/2 Coupon.

  21. Rachel

Yep, this is working in Kettering, Ohio. I didn’t have any coupons left, but I got 2 for $5.99, plus the $6 RRs, so two for free.

  22. Christy H.

It worked for me this morning in Bremen, GA. The cashier was super nice and let me used both $3.00 coupons!

    • Christy H.

Sorry, should say the cashier let me use, not used! :0)

  23. Mary

Didn’t work for me here in Baltimore MD. debating what to do since I used a $5/2 q. Should I try to return one? It made my OOP much more than I would have liked this week!

tried it in Troy Ohio. As soon as I set them (4 bottles, was planning on 2 transactions) on the counter, the cashier turned to the manager who happened to be nearby and said “is she allowed to buy this many?” The manager kind of looked at her and then at me and said “we have to limit it. You can only do one transaction and they’re not ringing up BOGO free if that’s what you were hoping for.”
Me: “okay. Can I buy two and use my two coupons?”
The manager said yes and the cashier says “You’re not going to get the register rewards on BOTH OF THEM if that’s what you were hoping for.”

Pleasure doin’ business with ya ladies! 🙂

  27. Allison

I’ve just about decided to give up on couponing for RR at Walgreeens. Lately I’ve encountered problems at almost every Walgreens I’ve shopped. If I use a clipped manufacturer coupon the catalina machine sometimes is not priniting the RR. It’s happened several times lately. The manager might even agree with me that it should have printed but they have absolutley no control over the cat machine and can’t override it. I’m gonna give it a few more tries and if it happens again I’n done with Walgreens and they will have lost a regular customer even for non-coupon items.

This worked for me yesterday. Did it twice at different times of the day since my Walgreens
only allows one purchase “per day” on items that have RR. When the cashier rung up my first order she was the one who noticed it was ringing up as bogo so she scaned it twice and let me get another one. Only had one coupon but she said I could use two if I had them (this is news to me, since the last time I tried using two coupons on a BOGO they would not allow it). In the last couple of weeks every time I go to Walgreens they have a different coupon policy. Was told a week ago that they would only accept internet coupons if the total of the coupon was less than half of the price of the item! Thought this was very confusing for the cashiers to have to determine. Yesterday I was told that they are not accepting any internet coupons due to fraud. Sure wish Walgreens had a written coupon policy that all stores would abide by. Sorry this is so long, sort of got off track!

  29. Cheryl

OH! Forgot to mention that this was not working today. Had cashier scan it first did not show BOGO. By the way I am in Erie, PA.

  30. Jessica

i’m not sure what triggered this today, but i bought one nivea and one of the shick hydro razors. i got my RRs and a catalina for a free package of poise up to $4. 🙂

    • Lisa

Got one of those at Kroger today. Only bought groceries.

  31. Olga

I live in Flagstaff AZ. Using the RR program in Walgreens is so much pain here! First of all you can’t get RR back if you use them to pay for the same purchase. At least that’s what they say. Besides, they regard RR as manufacturer’s coupons, so you can’t use a coupon and a RR on one item. But at least so far I was getting RR back if I was using one manufacturer’s coupon for the RR item. That ended yesterday. I tried to use a $3/1 coupon for the bodywosh and didn’t get any RR after the check out. Asked the manager about it and she said that it’s because I had used a coupon. I asked her how it had always been possible before and she said those were probably glitches. What, like a dozen times?!! I’m not sure I ever want to go back to Walgreens at all!
Is there any official policy about RR and coupon usage for Walgreens that I could print out and present next time?

  32. Wendi

It was not working in Bella Vista AR last night. I tried it, but had the $4.00 off 2, so it made them $1.00 each. Not too bad. I wanted to do 2 transactions, but the cashier called the manager and he said no more seperate transactions. I’ll just go to the pharmacy next time. It’s like it’s us against them. When did this become a war with Walgreens?

  33. dkj7500

I just went to the store in Parkville, Md today and my store “IS NOT” ringing up BYGO. I ended up paying $5.99 for each one and only getting one RR. I think I’m going to return one of them tomorrow.

  34. Martina

In Columbus, OH – no B1G1, but the cashier was nice enough to check and then just rang the two in seperate transactions. I ended up paying a little more OOP, but I did end up with 12 RR, so can’t complain:)
