I bought 2 of these last year. One for me and one for a gift. In one of the bags, one of the soaps got all over the other products and the lip gloss busted out of the bottom end. I tried calling and emailng them, but they would not replace any of the products. The other bag was fine so I gave it as the gift. Bummer because I love their stuff.

I received my bags today and I am a little disappointed! I bought this same deal last year at Christmas and it was wonderful but this time some of the items are just junk. A tin container with nothing in it?? Some of the samples are very tiny samples. Ummm, not sure I will do this again.
You read my mind. I really love their products, but what is up with this gift bag. There is no way that it would have been worth $50. I got mine today too and it looks like they took too many of the comments on their (Burt’s Bees) web page too seriously. One person posted that they bought this for a man and all it had was lip balms, etc. So this time there are several male products, not full size either. I would say that this package was worth $25 dollars, but not a deal at $25. I am kicking myself because I bought 2 in one order and then another two, 2 days later thinking that it would be great to start on my Christmas shopping. I did notice on the invoice it says I got 2 version #1. I am hoping that my next package which I should get in 2-3 days will be a different version with better products. Lots of tiny sizes this time. I should have just bought their gift packages that are somewhat discounted at the moment. I would have gotten more for my money!
Okay, so I got my other two bags and they were the same as before. Oh buy the way, they also began sending a foot cream later with the grab bag. I believe it is because they were getting several bad reviews after people started getting their bags. I hope some of you all got in on that. It would have made the bag more worth your money.
Also, I would be careful ordering from their site. I have a shipping order that says I ordered 4 products and 3 shipped. So I have been waiting on my other product. Called a few times and could not get an answer (maybe time difference). So I got ahold of them this morning and she said they are out. They can refund my money or send me something equivalent. Well I love Burt’s Bees products, but after the grab bag I am not going to let them choose what to put together for me.
But my question to her was, it has been almost a month and no one has refunded my money or contacted me, so what are you all going to keep my $15 and tax and not send me the products either? She said they normally have a way of checking out of stock orders, but for my order this didn’t happen. Well I am an auditor and either your internal controls work or they don’t. So I would be very careful ordering from their site.
I am a mother of five from the ages of 10 to 1 and I am always ordering online as going to the store is well, a challenge. I have never been so disappointed with an online experience. So I am done ordering from them online, I will buy their products from the retailers.
I also was very disappointed when I got my bag, and I got it before all those other promo codes! I wish I waited so I could have grabbed the free bees wax.
Anyways, when I got the bag, I only had 19 items and there was this powdery residue over everything! I call the weborders line, and after a few days time, they decided to just send me another one. Now I feel like I got my money’s worth…, hopefully this time my products are clean!
