Wanna score a FREE ticket to a movie at a Fandango Theatre up to $14 in value (even an IMAX or 3D movie) and score $4.99 movie tickets on a monthly basis?! Here’s what you need to do…

* Head on over to Weekly Cinema and register with your name, email address, and phone number.

* You will then be required to input your credit card information (the reason for this is that you are signing up for a monthly service, so your credit card is required to be on file if you decide to continue with the monthly subscription; however, you CAN cancel at anytime within the 3 day trial period and your card will not be charged)

* Once your card has been entered, you will receive a message that you have successfully registered; You will then immediately be emailed a unique Fandango Movie code that you can use to purchase a ticket on Fandango.com up to a $14 value (keep in mind this code can only be used to purchase one ticket, so be sure to treat yourself to a 3D or IMAX movie to utilize the full value of the code!)

* If you want to continue with this monthly service, you will be charged $14.97 per month and in return, you will receive 3 unique Fandango movie codes each month to purchase a FREE ticket on Fandango.com– up to a $14 value…this means you are only paying $4.99 per movie ticket! Plus, each code is good for 3 months so you’ll have plenty of time to use them. How sweet is that?! 🙂

*If you decide that this service is not for you, then you can cancel your membership immediately by logging into your Weekly Cinema account or by sending an email to support@weeklycinema.mojohelpdesk.com (keep in kind that if you opt to cancel, the movie coupon codes that you have received will stop working). Your FREE trial period is good for 3 days and if you do not send an e-mail notice of cancellation at least one day prior to the conclusion of the trial period, then you will be automatically be billed the monthly $14.97 fee.

* Your monthly tickets are available at the beginning of each month, so you just need to log in to Weekly Cinema to redeem them…they will not send you a reminder email.

Note: I was a little nervous that this deal sounded a little too good to be true, so I contacted the company by email and confirmed that no other charges would be made to my credit card other than the monthly $14.97 fee. The company assured me just the monthly fee would be charged… So I went ahead and entered my credit card info and immediately got the email with my FREE movie code…super easy! I am going to use that code to see a movie this weekend! Yay!

Thanks Colin – I have been wanting to sign up but didn’t know what Ticket Service they used…now I know it is Fandango…

so if you do sign up and than cancel within the first 3 days, that first FREE code they gave you will not work anymore? am i understanding this right?

    • Collin

Yes, that is correct…the codes are only valid if the account is active.

  3. Mary

If you use the free code within the first 3 days before canceling, then it will have been a great FREE deal right?

    • Marie M

      NO!

      See Tarin’s comment below:

If the Client redeems a free movie ticket, the trial period is voided and the Client will be automatically billed the regular subscription fee. If a movie ticket is redeemed after the trial period, the Client will be billed the regular subscription fee. For details on canceling subscriptions, see “Cancellation and Refund of Your Subscription” below.

Here is what I found out about using the coupon codes from weekly cinema when I talked to their live support

[18:26] meeboguest426924: In case I decide to terminate my membership during the free trial, what will happen to any unused tickets in my account?
    [18:28] meeboguest426924: Are you there?
[18:29] weeklycinema: you can use them
    [18:32] meeboguest426924: even after cancellation?
    [18:33] weeklycinema: yes

So not sure whether this will work or not…

    • Marie M

It will, but you’ll be charged.

See Tarin’s comment below: If the Client redeems a free movie ticket, the trial period is voided and the Client will be automatically billed the regular subscription fee. ok, it says at the end, if you refer a friend, you both get 2 free tickets, but there is nowhere to ‘refer’ them, like a link to send to them. there is also no place for them to write who refered them when they sign up, so how do you get the 2 free tickets?

    • Heidi R

Click on the “Frequently Asked Questions” link found in small writing at the bottom of the WeeklyCinema page. It says you have to contact them and let them know the name and email address of the friend that joined.

    • Jeanette

I asked about the referral and you really only get 1 free ticket. The “2” free tickets is counting the free one you get for signing up. Also when it says you “both” get free tickets, Your referral’s free ticket is the same one they would get if they were not referred.

Are the movie tickets good at only certain theatres? I worry that it won’t be good in my area. Do you purchase the ticket thru Fandango, print it, and bring THAT to the movie theatre?

  7. tarin

This looked good and i was about to do it, but thought I’d check out terms and conditions this is part of what it says:
If the Client redeems a free movie ticket, the trial period is voided and the Client will be automatically billed the regular subscription fee. If a movie ticket is redeemed after the trial period, the Client will be billed the regular subscription fee. For details on canceling subscriptions, see “Cancellation and Refund of Your Subscription” below.
So before you take the leap with this please read the whole terms and conditions. They also talk about multiple accounts from the same computer and how you will be charged for every infraction if they catch you having multiple accounts to get free tickets.

I just purchase mine yesterday since I was already going to go to the movies this just seemed like a great idea for those who like to go to the movies 🙂

    Hello,

I know I get my 1st ticket now for $4.99 then after that I see I’ll be charge $14.95 a month for 3 tickets every month.

    Question 1:
Can I use the other 3 soon as I get charged for $14.99?

    Question 2:
Lets say I need 6 tickets this month or now only, then can I pay extra $14.99 to get extra 3 tickets for now or this month..?

    Question 3:
Can we get more then 3 tickets..?

    Thanks,
    John

I really hope I am not charged. I redeemed a ticket to take my son to a movie since he recently had to have a surgury and we DO NOT have the money to pay for this right now. I am really upset. Oh and I only used it for a $5 show, and will probably end up paying the $14.95 for it. Great!

  11. Mandy

was the 14.97 price only good for a certain day? I just went to the site and now it is saying 15.99 a month. Still a good deal, but I liked 14.99 better!

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Is anyone else having a hard time logging in after they signed up? Contacting through chat and they did not help at all 🙁

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

THIS IS TERRIBLE, they WILL charge your Credit Card !!!!!
There is not trial period!!!!! Horrible customer service !!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!

  14. Pam F

I haven’t had any trouble yet. I redeemed my first for Inception IMAX and pd $3.00 for my 17.00 ticket but Fandango is charging $2.00 per ticket “convenience fee”…..so I won’t be buying both tickets through Fandango…only the free one. If you go to regular matinee movies and pay 5 + 2 fee….it’s not much savings!

Weekly Cinema is no longer active
