Can you freeze cheese?
Yes – I freeze shredded cheese all the time. It works great!
I freeze cheese all the time, shredded, block and slices. Let it unthaw in the refrig and you will never know the difference.
I just shredded up 12 pkgs of block cheese last night.
A little trick to prevent the cheese from sticking together is to toss with corn starch.
Use about 1-2 Tablespoons per 8 oz block.
I put the shredded cheese in a big bowl add the corn starch and then gently roll the bowl around to coat the cheese.
If air can get to the cheese in the freezer, then it might crumble when it’s thawed out again. I always put my cheese in a freezer bag before freezing it. 🙂
It works, just keep hitting refresh a bunch of times fast, and it eventually comes up. I had to hit the refresh about 20 times before it came up but it did. I recommend keeping the list it prints with to show any curious cashier that might question which products are “participating”.

It only lists the cheese items including sour cream & cream cheese among other obvious cheese items. I would think that cool whip is a dairy item, give it a shot!

How does it work? If I buy 10 Kraft products will 2 catalinas print, or do they have to be separate transactions? Also, if I pay with a catalina will a catalina still print?

You have to do it in seperate transactions according to the ad. I don’t know if you can use the $5 off coupon to do the deal again, I’m afraid to try.

I just did the albertson’s transaction with 5 bags of shredded cheese. The Cashier did push it through but mine came up that I had not purchased the specified products- which I had. I was going to turn around and do the same purchase again (with a coupon and the catalina) but since it did not go as smoothly as hoped I will do it later.

absolutely you can freeze cheese! I don’t do it if i ever buy the 2% milk cheese (low-fat) because it doesn;t freeze well, but regular cheese does. I usually freeze just shredded cheese and thaw it out in the fridge.

I don’t know if it helps but at my local supermarket I saw these peelies on the kraft shredded cheese. I didn’t get a closer look at it though it could just be details inside it to go to the site to print the actual coupon. Worth a look though:)

This is an awesome deal!! Winn Dixie has Philly Cream Cheese BOGO this week, so 5 @ 2.29 (5 will be free) = 11.45 – $10 (2 $5/5 IPs) = $1.45. Makes them .15 each!

No- only 1 manufacturer coupon per item usually.
This IP is also a Manuf. coupon, so no, you wouldn’t be able to use it with another Manuf. coupon. Here is a tip I learned years ago – Look at the barcode on the coupon. A manuf. coupon starts with a “5” (or sometimes a “9”). If the coupon starts with another number, like 4, 3, 0 its a store coupon. Most store coupons can be stacked with Manuf. coupons for additional savings!

Folks, please be careful of these!! for anyone else who knows how to decode coupons, these coupons are designed to beep, as it’s a 00 price code. I would be shocked if this goes through cleanly for anyone, so don’t be shocked when they have to force it through and/or you get denied.
So, I went to use the coupon and the cashier scanned it. the coupon said enter a price. So she put in 5.00 only the computer said it would only allow 1.00. Weird! she tryed and tryed.Ended up putting in the other 4 as a vendor coupon…. The same thing happened to both my girls too. Watch the coupons as they scan them.
