Important: EAS Peak Product Recall
If you currently use EAS Peak Product beverages or if you requested a sample of EAS Peak Product drinks that I had posted back in August on Hip2Save, then please read through this important recall information below.
A voluntary recall of EAS Peak brand performance beverages is being initiated in the United States. The recall is specific to EAS Peak clear liquid performance beverages, including all three flavors – Fruit Power, Orange Spark and Peach Surge, in 16-fluid-ounce plastic bottles. The product, which was produced by a third-party contract manufacturer, is being recalled over quality concerns.
If you have EAS Peak products, discontinue using them and follow the steps below to return it and receive reimbursement. For a list of affected lot numbers, click here.
For reimbursement:
* Complete the form here.
* A FedEx return label and mailer will be sent to you so that you can return the recalled product.
* Or call 877-597-9584 to make arrangements for the return & reimbursement of the recalled product.
* A few weeks after sending the product back, you will receive reimbursement via US mail.

They came pretty fast – so I think most of us probably drank them by now. I don’t think there is anything to reimburse for a freebie?
ROTFL – we got this one with a quickness. I packaged it up all crafty and give it as a gift – – hope they didn’t keel over or anything…should call and check on ’em….

My husband and I drank a few of these … we both agree that they were terrible!!! It made us feel sick after drinking these … so I haven’t touched them since. I actually have 3 to send back. Glad they are getting these off the shelves 🙂

Guess my freebies are going down the sink! I drank one but didn’t like the tingling in my hands afterwards. Good thing I didn’t drink all four of them!
Oh, no! I gave them to my boyfriend to try before his workouts, and he has been complaining about a tingling feeling in his feet! Hope it’s not the cause of these EAS drinks. 🙁
Annie, the “tingly” sensation is from one of the ingredients (beta-alanine).
I got these really quickly too. I drank about half of the orange one in the morning and felt nauseated for the rest of the day. I just figured it was due to an ingredient in it. Glad I threw the rest out after that day! Thanks for posting this!

I only drank half of one it was the nastiest thing i’ve ever tasted. I have a good reason to throw the rest away.
Oops! Hubby drank them all, he’s still alive! Got them really fast too! My hubby said they were bad but he just kept drinking them, I know, he’s weird like that! If it’s edible he won’t let it go to waste no matter how bad it tastes! LOL!!!
Opps! I got this sample for my hubby & he drank all 4! He said he liked the red one but not the orange one. I got mine awhile ago & he seems to be fine 🙂
When I got the 4 bottle sample back in August, I took one sip from the bottle and thought it didn’t just taste godawful, but kinda “wonky” too (and I’m quite used to sports and energy drinks’ flavors). Poured the first bottle down the drain and still have the remaining 3 somewhere, guess those’ll go the way of the first bottle. Ah well.

I just bought 6 bottles in Ohio at Target. The 4 packs had peelies for a free bottle. Looks like this is a MM for me!! No wonder why there were free :0
Wow, good thing I didn’t even drink mine.
I drank all four of mine…I don’t know why I kept trying them. They were hard to get down but I was training for a half-marathon and thought they would help before my long distance runs. They tasted bad and felt like lead in my stomach when I was running…I guess I am so used to workout supplements tasting bad I didn’t think anything was wrong.
Come to think of it… I did get sick and had to stay home from work the day after one of my long runs a few weeks ago…I wonder if that is a coincidence??? Scary!!!

Crazy, I used about 5 cases of these recalled lots for my ironman training over the last two months and didn’t notice anything strange with the taste for any of the 3 flavors. Actually, I have been impressed with the new peach flavor. Curious what the recall was for because these drinks were great to me and didn’t have any issues during training or my ironman….

Just called the number to get more information. I think she said they have “mode” in them?? I asked her to repeat it twice and I’m still not sure that is exactly what she said but she said there hasn’t been any reports of it being toxic yet or making anyone sick. She told me to call a different number to get more medical side effect information. I only drank them once a week so she said it probably wouldn’t have been a problem.
I drank one of the fruit power ones during a spin class. I felt sick to my stomach after just a few mouthfuls so I quit drinking it. Hardest spin class I’ve ever been through – felt terrible! Decided not to drink the other three bottles I had at home. Glad to know the product has been recalled after the way it made me feel! Thanks for getting the word out Collin!
I have about 6 bottles of the stuff in my fridge. I had 1 or 2 and didn’t particularly like them. They smelled like body odor.

Got the 4 of them a few months ago,Put them to one side and forgot them till now.Called the phone# They said to send them back via FedX.Why should I go to all the trouble? when I could just as well pour them down the sink??
I got four samples and have not drunk yet. I will send them back and maybe they will send me four more when they are better quality or send me coupons for four more in the future. I have drank EAS protein shakes for some time and they were always top quality, so I though getting four of these to try out was an awesome sample seal. I was really excited about trying these, but glad I put them to the side and forgot about them for a bit.
I have two orange and two fruit punch and all were on the list. When I filled out the form I noted four bottles, but it only gave me room to fill out one lot code, so I entered the orange one.

i actually liked them. i ran a whole hour after i had one of them. had a lot more energy.
Well, I just happened to be browsing the EAS site tonight and saw the recall. Been wondering why my stomach has been feeling like crap lately. Five bottles down the hatch explains it now…….And I was raving about this drink to friends.
Never drank them, went to the site, filled out my info and i got a package in the mail yesterday with new drinks in them (chocolate muscle milk ones) and i got a prepaid shipping lable to send my old ones back!
wow i wondered if that what was makin me sick!? i got the 4 pack and drank em about a month after i got em….i’ve felt pretty sick lately and have a hard time holding down food early in the morning or late at night. just got the letter in the mail today saying there is a “foreign matter” in the drink…. i’ve lost at least 5 or 6 meals….this product sucks! 🙁
I thought the product was awesome and tasted great!…I was tryin to buy some more when I saw this recall…I hope to see it back on the market soon!
I’ve had a ton of these sitting around cause my wife thought I would like them so she stocked up. I drank a couple of them when working out and they made me feel terrible, felt like my stomach was doing flip-flops. After that I haven’t touched them they’ve just been sitting in the fridge. Hope there wasn’t anything horribly wrong with them!
