Pringles Xtreme Facebook "Scam" Update
Remember the Facebook Pringles Xtreme free coupon offer that I posted about a month or so ago? Shortly after posting this free coupon offer, many Hip2Save readers (including myself) began to question whether the offer was legitimate. In fact, I was so sure that this offer was a scam that I posted an update on Hip2Save stating that the Pringles offer was illegitimate (you can view that post here). Collin, I just wanted to let you know that I received a coupon today for a free can of Xtreme Pringles. It has to be from the “Facebook scam” a few months ago. Seems it was legit after all!
Hey Collin- I’m sure you remember about a month ago when there was all that hullaballoo about the Pringles Xtreme and the illegitimate Facebook offer. I deleted the group, as was suggested and didn’t think anymore about it……that is until today. Guess what showed up in my mailbox? A coupon for 1 free can of Pringles Xtreme! Just thought you’d like to know. Thanks for all the hard work you put into helping all of us save money!

We got our Pringles coupon in the mail today! We also got a Wisk detergent sample from Costco, Crest toothpaste sample, and the Zone Perfect Cookie Dough bar coupons! Thanks for posting all the great freebies and deals! It makes checking the mailbox fun!
I haven’t gotten mine yet, but I had called them and they said it was a scam. Weird!
It is not a scam, I guess if u don’t want ur coupon I could give u my address to send it my way? lol just teasing….Honestly though I emailed them directly and they validated that it is a legit coupon!
I emailed them and called them and everyone I heard from with the company said it was a scam and they knew nothing about it. Even the Pringles xtreme facebook page was saying it wasn’t legit. It was a pretty poorly run promotion overall. A couple weeks afterwards I got a letter and a coupon letting me know it was a legit promotion afterall. *shrugs*
I did not apply because of the Hard Sell on the SCAM notice. I missed out on this one.

i had such a good mailbox freebie day and the pringles coupon was one of them. i took a pic of the stuff thinking i might email it to you….but im sure you get a ton of emails. 🙂

i got the free bamboo untensil holder from one kings lane, 2 free cookie dough bar coupons from zone, sample of crest toothpaste, sample of wisk, and a sample of the vaseline lotion….all in one day. oh and we also got 3 boxes of paper from office max that will be free after maxperks rewards.

I just looked at my picture, that is how they show the date in other countries, and its not half in spanish. They put it in english and spanish, thats how a lot of things are. Sorry your comment was very misleading, I know its legit though so use it or throw it out! Tired of people not believing what people are saying about how they contacted the company. These people who are hearing from the company its a scam are full of bologna, they are either calling a branch of corporate who has no clue or are lying. Email or call the # from http://WWW.PRINGLES.COM and get the facts people!
Wow! Feeling a bit judgemental? I went to the P&G website and called customer service and talked to the Pringles customer service people. All who said it was not legitimate. Why would I lie about that?

Good to hear it was legit. I always seem to get my free coupons and samples about 2 weeks after everyone else reports receiving them, so I have a bit to wait yet.
