thanks, i was wondering when they would release a coupon for this.

  2. Sarah

When Beauty and the Beast came out they the same kind of deal but they told me at my store that you can’t use the movie coupon and get the $10 coupon back from them. Weird! Who knows if that’s just my store or what.

    • northeasterner

My store is the same way! Had issues with them when they did Toy Story 1 and 2 earlier this year. They are stickleters. PLUS, this coupon does say it can’t be combined with any other offers and that is why they made me pick 1 last time. After that, I am not even attempting at my Disney Store.

  3. momma.of5

I was wondering when the coupon would be released too. Sadly the closest disney store is 150 miles away 🙁

  4. Judy

For those without a Disney store (like me) I think CVS has a pretty good deal coming up next week. You won’t be able to use this coupon b/c it’s for the BluRay combo pack and the CVS deal is just on the DVD.
If you spend $25 in advertised P&G products, then you’ll save $16.00 on the Toy Story 3 DVD. That makes the DVD only $3.99.
I don’t have the best senario figured out yet but you should be able to use coupons on the $25 of P&G stuff you have to buy b/c it includes things like Tide, Always, Charmin, Duracell, Dawn, Bounty,Crest, Puffs and Pantene.

    • momma.of5

      ooo, thanks for posting this!

    • LIsabella

Maybe someone can clarify: I took the CVS flyer to mean that P &G deal was only good on the DVD while the $8 coupon could only be used on the Blueray combo?

      • trash2cash4u

As Judy posted, you won’t be able to use the Blu-Ray coupon, but the DVD will still only be 3.99 if you buy $25 worth of P&G products ( before using any P&G coupons).

    • Jamie @ Time2Save

Hey Guys! I worked up a nice deal scenario using the Proctor & Gamble Promo starting at CVS SUnday It includes all the new P&G coupons we’re about to get this Sunday too!

      Total OOP:Around $18 for $25 in P&G Products + Toy Story 3 DVD (Reg. $19.99)

Like getting your Toy Story DVD FREE!!!

      YAY!

Does anyone know if there will be a deal at Toys R Us? I preordered from there (so I could get Beauty and the Beast for $2.99!) and I don’t have a Disney Store around anyway, so I’ll be heading to Toys R Us! Anxiously waiting to hear the deal, I’m hoping for a deal with a free toy or something like they normally have with new Disney releases!

    • Kimberly

TRU will have a deal !!! You get a FREE TS3 wall clock with the purchase of bluray or dvd. The big toy book also states that with ANY $30 Toy Story purchase you get a FREE exclusive TS3 popcorn tin ! So the deal should look like this:

34.99 for TS3 Bluray combo pack
      -5 for pre-order
      -8 coupon
      21.99 + tax for all 3 items

I have heard walmart and target may be cheaper though … but I am still loving the wall clock and popcorn tin !!!

      • Laura

The TS3 popcorn tin is cute…I saw it at walmart the other day.

      • Jackie

Hi, where did you see this? Do you know if you can still preorder? Thanks!

        • Kimberly

Yes you can still pre-order until Monday !!! The Big Toy Book From Toys R Us has been released (prices good from Oct 31 – Nov 24) and on the dvd page it shows that you get the free 10″ wall clock ($14.99 value) with the purchase of TS3 on DVD or Blu-ray. Also, on the Toy Story page of the toy book it states ” Free toy Story 3 Popcorn tin (9.99 value) with ANY Toy Story purchase of $30 or more” So we should be able to get both !

          • Kim

Also, Mater’s tall tales will be $17.99 (DVD only, blu ray combo pack will be $24.99 I think!). There is an $8 STORE coupon off 2 disney pixar movies (dvds or blu-rays) in the Disney Magical Savings booklets that were given for buying Beauty and Beast. This will also put you over the $40 Disney movie purchase needed to qualify for the $10 giftcard (this promotion starts 10/31 and you can see it in the Big Christmas Book TRU just mailed out). So with the $10 giftcard and the $8 STORE coupon, that will make Mater’s tall tales free (or just 6.99 if you want the blu-ray version). GREAT DEAL!! I have also heard version of people buying 2 TS3 movies to get 2 clocks, use 2 MQ, use $8 Store Q, get popcorn, and if they have 2 pre-orders, deduct anotehr $10, plus then qualify for the $10 giftcard promotion in the Christmas book. Lots of ideas and things. I do think in the end TRU might be the place to be for this deal, especially if they do lower the price for next weeks ad. As with Beauty and Beast, people are anticipatign that you will be able to combine all these deals!!

          • Becky

Does anyone have an extra coupon for $8 off 2 Pixar movies that they aren’t going to use? I bought Beauty and the Beast but I didn’t get a coupon booklet. :o( I am already getting Toy Story, but would love to get Mater’s Tall Tales for my boys for Christmas!

      • Shelley

I also received a flyer saying if you spent $40 or more on Disney movies you get a $10 gift card! Perhaps buy some gifts with this deal….

        • Kris

Im also wondering if anyone has the $8 pixar movie they will not be using. I would love to use it. my email is kmcenery02@yahoo.com

          • Kim

Sorry guys! I messed up, it expires on 10/30. The next best thing is a $3 store coupon in the same booklet for TS3. Still an overall good deal IMO, but obivuosly going to be $5 more expensive…

      • CaHammy

Thank you Kimberly! I don’t have a Disney Store or a CVS and I was hoping I could get some kind of sweet deal for TS3. Can’t wait to see the wall clock and popcorn tin.

      • Anna

But I don’t think ToysRUs will honor the popcorn tin, because when they take the $5 preorder off, the actual price of the movie will be 29.99.

      • Heather Talley

I just got off the phone with my Toys R Us and they said I can not combine the special offers for the popcorn tin and wall clock…I can only get 1 or the other. Bummer!

  6. Mitch

I need a coupon for the regular DVD. Seems all they do is push Blu-Ray. I can only upgrade so much technology.
    thanks
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

    • Becky

The combo pack has a DVD in it. We don’t have a Blu Ray but have been getting the combo packs at super cheap prices with coupons!

      • manyhats0211

yes plus one day you may have a blue ray and you will actually have dvds to test it out on.. we just purchased one and I LOVE IT!! But I only have disney movies at the moment LOL!

        • momma.of5

haha, that is what happened to us when we got our bluray.

    • LIsabella

Mitch: The Blueray is a combo that also has a DVD. I’ve been doing these since the deals have been better on the Blueray Combos than just the DVDs. I’m like you. I know I’m going wait until the last minute to upgrade my technology. (Is it bad that I still bust out VCR tapes on occasion?)

      • Debbie

I was watching Lion King on VCR the other day with my son, lol. When I first put it in, I had to rewind the tape by hand because my VCR is so old it started eating the tape, lol. It worked though. =)

    • LIsabella

I’m still holding out hope for TRU so my BATB will still have been 2.99. Anyone remember when the 5 dollar pre-order expires?

    • stephanie

With the Tinkerbell blue-ray deal, CVS only had the DVD but let me use the $10 blu-ray coupon anyway. I think I paid $4.99 for it. I read on many sites that CVS was doing this all over the country. It’s certainly worth a try with this!

  7. Michelle M

I want to point out that the $5 Campbell’s rebate for Beauty and the Beast is ALSO VALID ON TOY STORY 3. You cannot do both, however. So if you’re doing this rebate for Beauty and the Beast, then you cannot also do it for TS3 (unless you have a friend’s address to use-in the same state). Here is the link: https://www.campbellskitchen.com/Resources/pdf/11202CSC_Disney_Kids_Rebate.pdf

    • Michelle M

And hopefully another rebate opportunity pops up, so we can take advantage of both upcs on the movie! Both Beauty and the Beast, and Princess and the Frog had two rebates available.

  8. Kristen

    Hi,
My hubby and I just found yiur site a couple days ago and you’re site is awesome!!! I have a question about this really awesome deal. We live two hours away from the closest Disney store. Do you know if the $8/1 coupon and 10 of coupon would be able to be used and given out when you preorder it or do you have to go to the store? Thank you. We haven’t ordered from Disney store before so don’t know much about how it works. Thank you for this site!

    • Kelly

If I were you, I’d wait to see what kind other deals Toys R Us, Walmart, and Target have going on. If your live 2 hours away from a Disney store your talking about (2) 4 hour round trips to work this deal – probably not worth all that gas =)

    • Susan

I’d call and ask them. Our Disney Store will not take the internet coupon.

  9. DBarr

Tried the B&B coupon too and they tried to use it on their register & couldn’t but the coupon said the release date and to be used with merchandise onhand so “it was not valid for pre-sales”. However the $10 coupon or $20 off $40 is well worth the trip 🙂

  10. teresa longstreet

don’t have a disney store. probably will go to toys r us.

  11. Cari S.

I tried this with the Beauty and the Beast movie at the disney store, and they told me they won’t take a coupon and give you the money voucher. It’s one or the other.

  12. Lisa

Can you do this deal online? There are no disney stores near me. =(

  13. Mama Bear

I planned on getting the Target exclusive combo pack because it comes with a Buzz Lightyear. It’s 32.99, so this is a better deal. Thanks!

  14. Kimberly

Do you know how big the buzz figure is ?

  15. Julia

Hey Collin! Thanks so much for all of your hard work. Does anyone know what the deal for Toysrus is if you preorder Toy Story 3? Thank you!

    • Kimberly

So it is just a small talking action figure buzz ! I think I will stick to the wall clock and popcorn tin 🙂

  16. Kristen

AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! Thank you SOOO much!!!!!!

  17. Melissa

does anyone know if they are putting a coupon out for “Maters tall tales?” it comes out the same day

    ty

    • Kim

      Hi Melissa,

Here is my plan so far, hope it works:
TS3 blu-ray combo pack $34,99 (hope price gets lower by Tuesday!)
Mater’s tall tales (DVD only) 17.99
      -$8 MQ for TS3
-$8 STORE Q for 2 disney/pixar dvds or blu-rays (disney magical savings booklet)
      -$5 preorder
      FREE popcorn tin
      FREE wall clock
FREE $10 gift card for purchasing over $40 worth of disney movies (promo seen in Big book of Christmas deals)

Hope it works!! Total will be around $31.98 plus tax with a $10 gift card back. Better if the price ends up being lower than $34.99.

I actually have a second TS3 preorder and if the price is better than $34.99 on Tuesday, I may do two TS3’s instead and order Mater’s tall tales from Amazon. That means I can use my other $5 pre-order and another $8 MQ, still qualify for the $10 gift card and maybe even pick up a second wall clock. I saw someone mention this on another site, but if it would work, it woudl be pretty cool. I can’t remember what site I saw it on though!

      • Stephenie

That is what I was thinking too! Great coupons in that little magical savings book!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am doing something similar Kim:
TS3 blu-ray combo pack $34,99 (hope price gets lower by Tuesday!)
Mater’s tall tales (DVD only) 17.99
2 Tag books at 9.99 each
1 small filler to get to $75: 2.99
        -$8 MQ for TS3
-$3 STORE Q for TS3 and Tall Tales (disney magical savings booklet)
        -$5 preorder
        – (2) $5 MQs for Tag books (virtual test drive site)
        FREE popcorn tin
        FREE wall clock
FREE $10 gift card for purchasing over $40 worth of disney movies (promo seen in Big book of Christmas deals)
FREE $10 gift card for $75 purchase
= 29.95 (deducted gift cards; actually pay 49.95 OOP)

Hopefully I won’t have issues as the last two deals I’ve done there my TRU has been pretty coupon friendly. I’m hoping the hard part will be not letting my 4 year old and 3 year old see what I’m buying 🙂

  18. Amy

I have this coupon already because I already pre-ordered it, and I’m pretty sure it’s $10 off a $20 purchase or $20 off a $40 purchase. I don’t think the coupon will work the way she has it posted. Just fyi.

    • Amy

Oh, also, the $20 off $40 coupon is a great deal, because Disney store tends to discount their costumes (like dress up princess dresses) after Halloween sometimes at 70% off. So 70% off plus the $20 coupon…. great dress up dresses for Christmas or costumes for next year.

  19. Catherine

The Toys R Us store coupon for $8 off 2 blu-ray movies expires on Oct. 30th, so we would not be able to use it. The next best thing is the $3 off store-coupons 🙁

    • Kim

      Oh Catherine, good catch…darn.

    • Suzanne

What $3 coupon are you talking about? is it a printable coupon?

      • Kim

No, it is a Store coupon in the Disney Magical Savings coupon books that were distributed at Toys R Us when buying Beauty and the Beast. There is an $8 coupon that expires on Saturday (darn!), and a $3 one that is good on Toy Story 3. You can still do the above scearnio, it will just be $5 higher. $36.98 plus tax for everything I posted above with the $10 gift card back. Still a decent deal and I will probably do it. 🙂 I am still hoping it will be lower if Toys R Us prices the move lower than $34.99 next week. usually the first week the movie is released, it is in the mid-20’s. BUt you never know!

  20. Rebecca Lopez

Don’t forget the same rebate that campbells soup did before for beauty & the beast will also apply to toy story 3! Buy any Toy Story 3 Blue Ray/Combo pack or Dvd – PLUS any three participating Campbells Condensed Kids Soups or SpaghettiO’s pastas. Get a $5 rebate. Offer expires 1/31/11

  21. Emily

We have a blue ray player, (PS3) and my sister has a dvd player so we buy the combo and split the cost. I even take the cardboard cover on the outside and cut it to fit into a cheap dvd case. See if you know anyone who you can split this with.

  22. Mrs.Hall

Ok..so I haven’t gone out on release day to get any DVD…but this one is for my son who turns 4 on the 5th. Is this like you will have to go at the crack of dawn to your store choice and hope you got there in time? If so..whats a good time? I heard from a friend that last release of TS2 at my Toys R Us was a small display and they went within 30 seconds lol. So I guess I’ll hit up Walmart or Target.

Not too thrilled about stressing on this, but I live 40 minutes away form these stores and the mall so don’t want to get disappointed in the end.

    • Jen

      Mrs. Hall –

I did both the Tinkerbell deal and the Beauty and the Beast deal on the days those DVDs were released at Toys R Us. I don’t think either of those DVDs were as big of a release as Toy Story 3. That being said, on the Tinkerbell one I went at 7 pm. I got the last free watch they were offering with it, but there were plenty of copies of the movie. On the Beauty and the Beast one, I went at 10 am when Toys R Us opened. They had a whole display of the movie and it looked like only a few had been bought. Though they only had a couple of the coupon books left. This was in Northwest Indiana. i’m planning on going at 10 am for TS3, but only because that’s when it’s convenient for me. It’s going to be such a popular Christmas gift, I’m sure you’ll be able to pick up a copy somewhere.
      Happy Shopping!

      • Mrs.Hall

Thank You very much for your reply! I might just go to Toys R Us because I know when they open and I’m sure Walmart stocks them overnight/before dawn and who knows when they will be up for grabs seeing my walmart is 24 hours

  23. Mayra

I was only able to print one TS3 coupon… was anyone else able to print 2 coupons?
I did 2 pre orders for the TS3. at Toys R us.

    • Kim L

I was able to print 2. I just hit the back button while the first one was being printed.

  24. jz

    Thanks!!

  25. fuzzymitten

Thanks, Collin and thanks to all the ladies for posting the TRU deal. I think I’ll do that one.

  26. Mindy

Hey all, I was going to let you know that I went to my Disney store today and they would not let me use the TS3 coupon and buy it on pre-sale. They said it is only valid once the DVD comes out. Dang it! I was so excited to get more coupons. Oh well, I will have to look out for upcoming deals at CVS or Toys R US!

    • Susan

That’ true. Disney Store WILL NOT accept the coupon on pre-orders.

  27. Donette Koelzer

Anyone in the Omaha area can snag a great deal at the Nebraska Furniture Mart. They always have new releases on sale for $12.99 on the Tuesday through Friday (at least) once a new movie is released. Use your $8 coupon, and get the movie for only $4.99!

  28. mandyrcampbell

I was on TRU facebook page and did not see the advertisement for the free wall clock. I called several TRU and they said they had not heard anything about a free wall clock. Where are you located that you are seeing this deal????? I only see the free popcorn tin advertised.

    • Jennifer

It was in the TRU Christmas Toy Book where they advertise the $10 gift card when purchasing $40 of Disney movies.

  29. Lynsey

This deal did not work for me. They said they could not accept this coupon for the preorder promotion. Kind of thought it was too good to be true.

    • geraldine

      same here, not on pre-orders

  30. Kim L

I too just got back from TRU. I was told the toy book comes out Sunday and that they were unaware of any TS3 deals including the wall clock and popcorn tin. Was I misinformed? Is there a link I can go to to confirm these deals and I can have proof come Tuesday?

    • mandyrcampbell

I was told that was well and have not been able to find anything advertising the wall clock.

    • Raquella

If you go to TRU facebook page you can “like them” and preview the Big Book. All the TS3 deals are on there. Plus way more! 😉

  31. Stacey

Silly question….the Cambell’s rebate says “store receipt must emanate from same state as consumer address” so I can’t do a pre-order online can I? Target is doing pre-order for $15.99 with no shipping. This was going to be a quick, easy way to get it, but not if I can’t use the $5 rebate 🙁

  32. CatherineB

Does anyone have an extra Disney Magical Savings Booklet? I would love to do the deal that Anonymous posted earlier. If you can help, here is my email: c_villarino@hotmail.com. Thanks in advance.

  33. Crystal

I love the Toys R Us deal, but I wouldn’t bank on the free items being available (wall clock, popcorn tin). I have attempted to buy things at TRU that came with free items numerous times in the past, and they are very seldom available, at least at my store. They might have a few, if any. I think I’m going to head to CVS – at least I can use extra bucks there.

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

We went out to the Disney store to pre-order TS3 with my $8 off coupon and was told you can’t use the coupon on pre-orders. They also said they weren’t giving out $10 off anything in the store coupons.

  35. Roger

Best Buy has it for $24.99. And if you find a better deal, like at certain Wal Mart’s, possibly, they’ll match the price. They cannot, however, match offers, like free clocks and tins, obviously, but I’ve had them match free gift card offers from Target in the past.
