Just a Quick Note…
My hubby had surgery on his calf this morning (gastrocnemius-muscle recession), so I have been sitting in the recovery room with him for most of the day. He’s doing great (just groggy and very sleepy from all the meds). We just arrived home about 30 minutes ago and now I’m scrambling to get the laundry done, dinner cooked and all those other fun duties! Yipppeee! 🙂
Anyway, I did want to quickly apologize for not being quite “there” today… if you know what I mean. I know some of the deals I posted didn’t quite go as planned (I’m mainly talking about the Gilt Zoobie Pets deal). I normally test out deals more thoroughly… But, as I’m sure you understand, my attention and focus was not at all on my blog today. Hopefully I’ll be back in the swing of things tomorrow!
Oh and seriously the way all of you help each other out in the comment section is so awesome! I was especially touched when I was reading all the comments on this post. You all are so generous.

Plus I have a “funny” husband story to share. My husband has really ejoyed all the “blessings” that coupons have given us (great food stock) and the other day I sent him to pick up milk (a no coupon transaction) he came home with a print out from the catalina for 50 cents off Dr Pepper coupon, he was joking with me and said he played the “Scenerio” right!!!

Collin, I for one could not tell that you were not with it on your blog today. It didn’t seem lacking in anyway at all. I add my prayers for your husband’s speedy recovery. I know that most all of your followers, as I, fully support your priority being with your family first which is what makes us respect you all the more. They should always count more than we do. collin, why dont you take tomorrow off and have a day for you to catch up amd take care of ur hubby. just post something that says that you are taking the day off, but all us hip2savers can post any deals we find in the comments section! everyone can just read thru the comments to find ome deals and you can relax and know that we are ok here.

In life family should always come FIRST!!! Here’s hoping a speedy recovery for your husband. Last year my husband had 2 ankle surgeries and 2 knee surgeries. So I know what you are going through also.
