Just a note on the free books you get…the Ozzie and Mack free book is one that generally comes free with the tag reader itself.

I requested my Tag Jr book back in Sept when the last post was done and I haven’t gotten mine. Hummmm. I’m sad cuz I planned on using it as a gift.
I just received mine today, so maybe they are going to show up in the next few days. 😀
I requested one right around the same time Target put up the bogus $10 Tag Jr. and then cancelled the orders. I never got my book either.

Just call leapfrog and request for one, i did call, and got it within 1 week with a $5 coupon inside.
Ditto, i ordered the ABC one and still haven’t received it. I just redid the form. My MIL did order Ozzie and Mac and she got hers within just a few weeks…
I have an account from before, and could never figure out how to get the free book. Do I have to register with a new account?

Just requested a free book. It said it was submitted and should receive in 6-8 weeks. WHO-HOO!!
I didn’t request this at first b/c our tag reader is for Christmas and not yet opened to “link”…I just wanted to point out for others, you simply have to choose a toy from the list that you have. It’s easy. I thought I was going to have to hook up the reader and let it sync with the computer!
Steph thanks so much for posting I’m in the same boat and figured I guess I would just miss this I didn’t want to take it out of the package b/c like you I’m giving my son one for Christmas! I happen to be reading the comments and found yours and went right over and filled out the info and looks like I’ll be getting a free book with 6-8 weeks wohoo!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much!! It says I’m getting a book in 6-8 weeks. I was able to score the TagJr. for $5 when Collin posted about it. And then was able to get some Tag Jr. Board Books yesterday with the $5 off coupon linked through Chevrolet. And now a free book to add to the mix!! I’m a happy camper 😀

Just click the link Collin provided, it takes you to the Leap Frog site. You are asked to either create an account, or login if you already have an account. Then it asks your child’s first name and birthday. Then on the next page you will click on which Leap Frog toys you have for the child. And then it lets you choose which book you’d like to receive.
what a bummer. after adding a toy it, nothings comes up with an option for a free book.
I had to click skip some survey, the page was nearly blank, before I got to the free book, and having to fill it my details again.
I didn’t get mine last time. i just signed up again.
I hope this book actually comes. I was disappointed to see that the buy one get one deal at target excluded the tag jr. books, so this would totally make up for it.
I got 4 of those regular Tag books for my son next year, as I figure he’ll get the regular Tag then. 😉 Paid $1.70 in taxes for them and that was it. 😀
I was disappointed that TagJr’s were not included in the BOGO too. I used my coupons though and got 4 books for $20, still a good deal.
The tag reader (not the jr one) will work with the jr. books though. Keep that in mind as you purchase books in the future.

Thanks! I bought a DVD with this offer a while back , but couldn’t get the link to come up. Got it this time… and my little one is getting a Tag Jr. for Christmas, so it made it even sweeter:)
I just got mine today and it also has a 5$ off tag pen inside, so maybe I’ll combine with the 10$ Target coupon to buy another Tag pen as a gift.

I registered the “My Pal Violet” that my daughter got last Christmas and got the ABC book, just to use as a regular board book (so it does eventually come). Thanks to the great clearance deal at Target, after Christmas she can read it with her new system.
On a side note, I was just checking eBay for Tag Jr. books and I’m amazed at the number of TS3 Tag Jrs are listed…and selling for more than the clearance price (not even including coupons!)

I was just checking back to see if anyone had ever received their free book. I’m still waiting, but by my calendar count, we are just now at Week 8. Crossing fingers!
i have not received mine yet either..but im going to stay on top of it since so many people said they never got theres…i sent them an email today and it said i should recieve a response within 24hours…let me know if you get yours and which one u got!
