If it all goes as planned 🙂 I should have 8 POUNDS of whole crab delivered to my door for about $15. If so, I will be a coupon hero to more than a few people in my household!
It works great! I got my order last sunday and it was awesome! The only thing is that you need to factor in that some of the stuff you order might not be in stock so they will replace it with something else and not match the price. However, they are very good about taking it back and adjusting your order 🙂
If you order produce, consider the weight and that it might be more than what you expect too. If you add BOGO items, they will be deducted the day your card is charged. AND the driver might give you some extra coupons to share with family and friends!!

Im pretty sure they have to be delivered today in order to be the BOGO price…
I would call safeway and findout the deal. Mine will be delivered on Fri and the ad does not end until next tuesday.

They don’t deliver to my area either. But, a tip for anyone heading for Disneyland for the holidays: they will deliver down there to your hotel. This could save you a fortune on snacks and water for your trip, and save you the hassle of bringing groceries along.
Bummer, even though they own the 2nd largest grocery store in the area, they don’t deliver. 🙁

They don’t deliver in my area, but they DO deliver to my old town. So I’m ordering $50 for the food bank there for only $7! I called customer service to make sure that will work and it will. thanks for making it so easy to do so much for someone else!

They’ll charge you less when they actually charge you. They don’t charge until delivery.
Safeway states that the BOGO item discounts will be shown on your delivery receipt, not on the online order form. I don’t like that that’s the way they do it…it seems misleading. Mine said $32.02, but I figured out that it should come to $9.04, when it’s all said and done. I’ll find out tomorrow, when it’s delivered.
Ugh doesn’t deliver to my home zip in KS, my work zip in MO, or where we are going on vacation in CO. But thanks for posting hot deal!

I’m glad to hear that it’s “old news” and already worked for some. I was worried about the b1g1 not coming off until they ring and the promo codes combining with the sale so I called. They said I can check it when I get it and if it’s more than I thought, I can refuse the order and the driver will take it back for a full refund. While I wouldn’t like to do that, it’s nice to know it’s an option. If all goes well I will get 7lbs of 93% lean ground beef and a case of water for $9.81 delivered. It’s also a fabulous idea to use when traveling (Disney World etc.)
I did this in June and it was a great experience! I got in on some bogo battery and baby wipes deals and, after everything, my oop was just $3.32! *Just make sure you order w/i the correct time-frame for pickup – I’d selected bogo deals that were advertised on a Tuesday but if I’d stuck w/my original plan for a Wed. delivery, the deal would have expired (Safeway’s deals are on a Wed-Tues. schedule) and the day of pick-up NOT order date, is what determines the pricing of the order.
Nice. 2- beef cross rib roast (3#), 2- Jimmy dean turkey sausage crumb, 2- BB tuna salads, 2 cookies and 1 24 pk water for $ 7.38. WOW now that is sweet!

There were no delivery slots for me until Monday but I managed to find BOGO items that are good until then so if this works I will be getting salad mixes and batteries and chips and mints and all sorts of good stuff for around fifteen dollars factoring tax in. My total estimate right now is 31 bucks but once the BOGO items are taken off it will be around fifteen.

I noticed that when you put in the refreshe24 code it states that it will automatically add a 24 pack of water to your cart. So…wondering if that means we shouldn’t be adding the water ourselves.
