Oh thanks you. We just got one for the kids and I was shocked at how expensive the books were. This is awesome!!!
Thank you for this post!! I am so so happy! My daughter is going to love Rapunzel and my son will love the Toy Story 3 books
Thanks, Collin. Merry Christmas!
Awesome deal! Now I just need to remember which ones are already wrapped under the tree. 🙂
Score! My son is getting the Tag with 6 books total (mostly FREE from previous deals) for Christmas. And now he will get two more for his bday in February. Thanks!
How did you get your books mostly free.
You were able to get free Tag books at Target a few weeks back! https://www.dealsanddishes.com/2010/11/my-target-deal-4-free-leapfrog-tag.html
Does anyone know where they sell My first Leap frog books or is this too outdated. I picked up 2 my first leap frogs from thrift stores this fall for 3.00 brand new for my twins. But I only have 2 books and I cant seem to find them anywhere in stores. Toysrus sells the system. Why not the books?
Check out Leapfrog.com
You can also try Ebay.
oooh! Thanks!
I have no idea what the promo code is, but I added the Tangled book and the Spiderman book to my cart, paid with my Amazon Visa, and there was a magic $10 promo code applied. So, after Amazon Prime shipping, that’s 2 books totally free. I keep looking at the invoice and can’t figure out what the promo is for. I order from Amazon at least once a week, so I think I’d remember if I had anything applied from my old orders. Anyone else want to try this combo and see if it works for them?
Thanks for sharing……….hope everyone can figure out what the promo is. Can you tell me how to get free shipping? I want to try this deal……..I’m new to amazon shopping, Thanks!
I have Amazon Prime, which automatically gets you free shipping on qualifying items. It costs $79/year normally, but if you know anyone with an .edu email address they can sign up for it for free and share it with up to 3 people. There are occassionally other deals that make it cheaper, or free for a certain amount of time. There is also a 1 month free intro trial that’s available all the time.
Thank you so much for the info…I’ll see in to it.
Hey kim, how do you find the free prime deal for people with an .edu email? I still have some friends at the school district.
It’s called Amazon Student: https://www.amazon.com/gp/student/signup/info “Only students currently enrolled in a college or university who have a valid .edu e-mail address to confirm their status are eligible to participate in Amazon Student.”
They also have Amazon Mom (which is actually for all caregivers of babies/toddlers) that gets you 3 free months of Amazon Prime plus an extra 15% off Subscribe & Save diapers and every time you spend $25 on qualifying baby items in a single transaction your free Prime membership gets extended by one month (but not every baby item is included, which gets a little confusing/frustrating).
https://www.amazon.com/gp/student/signup/info
Really it’s designed for college students, but they are pretty open about sharing the accounts
Didn’t work for me. I have amazon prime so with those exact books it’s still $10 and free shipping
Wierd. It has to have something to do with paying for it with my Amazon Visa. I’m able to add the same things to my cart and the promo is applied AGAIN. Not gonna push my luck though, one set is enough!
Probably it is..since I saw something about getting Amazon Visa and get back $40….so probably you can get up to $40 back if you have Amazon visa……….
Awesome! I just ordered 6 books! My son is getting the system as a Christmas gift and now he’ll have plenty of books to go with it!
I bought some about 20 minutes ago and the I spy book is sold out(at the $5 price…it’s now $11.50). I was able to find other books at that price. I just found this website and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I have already make 3 different purchases off of it. Thanks!
Yeah the iSpy one isn’t $5 anymore. 🙁 Sad cause thats what I would have gotten my son!
They have several TAG JR books for $5.00 too!! I just ordered 4 of them!!!! YAY! And free 2 day shipping b/c of amazon prime!
Yay! I just ordered 5 of these books. I did the Target deal and got 4 books for free and got the systems for $10 each from Target. This is turning out to be a super cheap reading system for us. Love it! Thanks Collin for all of your hard work. I technically shouldn’t be ordering my kids anything else as I have scored so many amazing deals but I just can’t say no to books.
Are they all sold out? None are coming up $5 for me. Bummer.
They all are $11 or more now… Am I doing something wrong?
cant get it either… 🙁
Shoot! I looked at them earlier but got interupted and now they are back up. Maybe, just maybe, they’ll come back down?? One can hope.
I just checked all the links and they are all back to $12-$15/ book. Too bad…was going to get some for my friend’s daughter.
if you go to leapfrog.com and use code WINTER20 you can find a bunch of JR. books for $6.39 (after code) with free shipping too. Used Ebates for 3% back too. not a lot, but can add up!
If you are “connected” to the Leapfrog website by registering your childs toys, you can use the code connect25 and save 25%. You have to create an account, but they only send you a few e-mails. There are a few books for the tag reader. I also bought all three learn to read series for $25 and free shipping. They are normally 59. Also, use ebates!
