I scored 6 of them tonight for .44, also a heads up the crest 3D white strips gift set is also half price. It rang up 18.98 down from 37.99! I was able to use the $5 coupon in todays p&G and scored it for 13.98. that is a great price for a huge box of whitestrips, full size toothpaste a toothbrush and a huge bottle of whitening rinse. And as a bonus it came with $29 worth of coupons. btw, I found this in the regular section, it hadnt been moved over to clearance yet.

I think she was saying that she got 6 sets for 44 cents each.
The cashier must not have read the coupon and the system prollly didn’t beep – because these coupons from P&G, including the $4/1 proglide, state you can only use 4 like coupons per transaction, so you shouldn’t have been able to purchase 6 at one time unless the computer didn’t beep.
Or did you do two transactions?
I actually didnt notice that the coupon stated that, but I was in the self checkout. And no I didnt clear the shelfs there were about 75 gift sets when I got mine. and yes i meant .44 a piece.

Do you seriously spend your time getting mad because one person gets whats on the shelf. Good lord…If I get to the store and there are none left I don’t sit and wonder if it’s one person or 50 that bought them all.

No the list is just to let you know what coupons are in the P&G insert. You need to buy the newspaper to get the coupons and use them. I hope I answered your question correctly. 🙂
I saw these at a local Walgreens on clearance as well. They were priced around $5.

Just tried this at my store and the cashier told me I couldn’t do this deal because it would be too cheap. I was floored asked for a manager who also told me no. Headn to another store to try.
That is so stinkin’ aggravating!!! I was so afraid they were going to do that to me but it went through with no problem and I was able to get four. So sorry, and I feel your aggravation!
Next time ask them what amount would be considered adaquate. If they can’t give you the lowest possible price they would consider “cheap enough to sell” then I’d be contacting my state attorney general for all sorts of things, fraud and false advertising for starters.

Thats not allowed. It is a manufactures coupon so the store will be getting its $4 back. As long as the coupon doesn’t say “excludes gift sets” then it should be allowed. I think I would have to put in a complaint on that one.
WooHooo, as soon as I saw this I ran out and got 3 of them at my store!! I paid under $1.50 for all 3!

My boyfriend and I just got eleven Proglide gift sets 🙂 Yayy!!! And they still had the Herbal Essences and Olay gift sets for only $5, and we are able to do the $9.99 Allure Mail in Rebate 🙂
Yea I took advantage of the Allure gift set too. I only got 1 because I couldn’t remember if that was the one with the mail in rebate. This was the only one I found but I might try the other walmart tomorrow and see if they have any others. I was at Walgreens but they didn’t have the gift sets marked down. I was able to get some good stuff for 50% off at Target though.

I got 20 of the Proglide giftsets, and could have gotten about 10 more but didn’t have room in my cart. I’ll be headed back in the morning. Yay!!!
Did you do 5 different transactions then? Coupons are limited to 4 at one time.?
I don’t think the coupons are going to beep. The cashier would have to pay attention to the specific wording and I don’t think many of them scrutinize the coupon if it doesn’t beep.
Yes, but even if it doesn’t beep the P&G can deny honoring the coupons since they were not used correctly. Which would mean Walmart would not get their money back for the coupons and may start to get more picky about them.
How would P&G determine how many were used per transaction? They have no way of knowing if 1 or 5 were redeemed at a time. The cashier has to actually read the wording on the coupon and limit it her or himself and most will not do that. I don’t think P&G has a way to know how they were redeemed.

How do you manage to get so many? Do you have to buy 20 newspapers to get 20 coupons? Can you use the coupon more than once? I’m about to check out my local Walmart but want to know how people are getting more than 1 or 2 at a time. Thanks!

Just went and got 10 of the gillette gift sets for 44 cents each with no problem and also they had old spice gift sets for $2.5o and with the $2 off coupon from a few weeks ago those were only 50 cents WOOHOOO!!!!!
This is exactly why I don’t shop at Walmart!!!!! Went to buy the Gillette proglide fusion gift pack. They refused to even scan my $4.00 coupon. Said it couldn’t be used. First they said because it was a gift pack, then they said because it was on clearance, then they said Gillette would not reimburse them the $4.00 for the coupon. Hmmm which one is it. Manager also refused. So I took my coupon back and will take my business to Walgreens and Rite Aid where I never have a problem.
Contact Walmart support on-line and write your complaint. I had a similar situation and when I filed my complaint, they contact the local manager and made him research the coupon policy (which he didn’t know existed and train his cashiers). It didn’t solve all the hassle but at least now I have a name and phone number to ask to speak with if a cashier refuses a coupon.
This happened to me today. I stood my ground but still they wouldn’t budge. I just took my butt over to self checkout and did 14 transactions using 2 coupons per transaction. Held up the line, plus they had to pay the extra swipes for my cc but I really don’t care. So frustrating but I wasn’t leaving without them LOL

I went and look everywhere, my daughter found one under a big box, I ask one of the ladies and she scan it to see how many where left and told me there is 20 left but where????? no where we look every place I can beleive that people hide things=-( even the lady told that some people do that. My girl was so excited she want them for the soldiers I told here maybe tomorrow will see

maybe check walmarts that are kinda small city out of the way … i went to a store that is small and just had a lot of road work (JUST NOW finished) so many people dont go that way … had like hundreds of these products still on shelf … maybe there is that kind of store near you
Not happy! I got my 4 coupons and my 4 gillette gift packs. They wouldn’t let me use the coupon at WalMart either. They said it had 2 b on the single razor (not usable with gift packs). The casheir told me to try to use thre coupon online and see if it would go through. Grr. I got 4 more Olay baskets for $5 each. I wonder if there will b a problem getting the $10 magazine refund because they are all on the same receipt and rung up at $5 each. Any thoughts? I’m curious 2 hear how it goes for everyone else. you can only get one rebate period for the olay gift baskets. you can try to mail them all in, but i used to work for conde nast and meredith and i sincerely doubt they would reimburse you for more than one.
Yipee! I went to a different WalMart and they let me use all the coupons I wanted! So I got Gillette sets, Olay sets, and even a regenerist set!

If you have a good walmart where they don’t hassle you so much, you can score the old spice classic collection gift set (1 cologne and 1 deodorant) for .50 cents! There was a coupon for $2 off old spice gift sets in one of the sunday paper coupon inserts (can’t remember when) but the coupon does expire on the 31st of this month. I used the coupons and scored 4 of the gift sets. Just to let u know the coupon does beep, but the coupon says for gift sets and so does the gift set (obviously). Good luck!
Don’t forget to use the $2 off olay body was that was in this sunday’s paper so score the olay giftset for $3!!
I am so annoyed! Apparently the last 2 P&G inserts that came in the mail somebody decided to take! UGH! they dont come in our papers anymore the come during the week. of all the times! there was 8 different deals i wanted to do with them!! oh well i guess love goes on! but oh its so.. frustrating!!!
I only got the front cover of the insert in my paper. It looked like it was ripped from the rest of it. Grrr……….
You could “buy” them online. My paper I have delivered in northern NH rarely sends the coupon packets even though on the front page it states something along the lines of, “save $138 this week with coupons!”. I usually call and complain and they send them on Monday or Tuesday, but it’s ridiculous that they can’t get it right the first time. Didn’t get a P&G either this week in any NH paper (bummer).
Went to my Walmart at about 11 pm last night after reading this, and they were all gone. I am going to try the walmart by my job at lunch, but I seriously doubt there will be any. Congrats to those that scored this awesome deal!

I’d have to agree with the other two ladies here. Sometimes people tend to get carried away without thinking about the rest. I love coupons and I’m thankful for the people who share the sales and help the rest of us, but it tends to be people like that.that ruin it for the rest.
I agree with Jennifer. I have gotten many a good deal and missed even more for not getting there in a timely manner. Im not here to argue about it, but would it really bother you if she cleared the shelf paying full price? There’s no limit to how much people can buy when it’s regular price, but when it’s free or close to free you want to start setting limits? It’s silly… you win some, you lose some. Thats how shopping works, especially when using coupons.

They may not be shopping at the same store, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other coupon fanatics that DO indeed shop at their store. Buying 20 of anything is outrageous and down right selfish. Buying 5 is a reasonable amount, I would think. Especially if the coupon states “Limit 4 per transaction.” It’s using the coupon in a way the company did not intend for it to be used, which is coupon fraud.

I scored 2 this a.m. only because they were in the return item carts located in the aisle! They had tons of the Olay, and Herbal Essence kits. I got a couple of the Olay last night for 3.00 each. They also, had the Olay Regenerist gift sets marked down to 10.00 these had the micro-sculpting cream, cleanser, and serum primer. I had a 5.00 off coupon, and got this set for 5.00.
Does anyone know when Walmart does a further reduction in price? Or is 50% the max?

I got the Gillette gift set 44 cents and the Oil of Olay set for $3, also the Oil of OLay Regenerist gift set for $7. Used coupons no problem no beep Yeah.
Hmmm… I got a bit frustrated with my Walmart last week when I took my BOGO Wonka candy boxes coupon and tried to use it. 2 cashiers told me that Walmart did not accept BOGO coupons and of course I didn’t have my coupon policy with me at the time. There was a line and I didn’t feel like arguing with them, so I just bought one and left. By the time I got home though I was so frustrated at always having problems at my local Walmart that I sent an email to corporate along with a link to their own coupon policy. Yesterday I got a phone call from the store manager telling me that cashiers are getting re-trained in couponing and the policy is being posted at every register. We’ll see how this turns out when I try to snag some of these later today… 😉
They only take my BOGO or Free item coupons if they are from a newspaper or magazine. They will not take them if I print them from the computer. I also called corporate about this and was told it was up to the individual store concerning this policy. So I just use those at Target now!

Just got back from Wally World and I used 6 coupons (didn’t beep) and had no issues and got all for $0.44 each! Yeah!!!
I was able to do this deal and get the monopoly u build for free. The game is currently priced at $5, and there is a 5$ off coupon right next to the games!

I sure didn’t!!! They are ALL original coupons from the newspaper. People are just being haters, and that’s totally fine with me.
Took my coupon and drove on over to the Walmart and scored the gift set for .44!! Wish I had a coupon for the Herbal Essence =) Is that being too greedy?
If you open your gift sets you may find up to $7 in gillette coupons and $1 off on head and shoulders too.
PS – Was hassled when I tried to use the coupon too. The cashier stated first that I couldn’t use the coupon because each item would only be .44c when I was finished. Then he stated that I wasn’t buying a razor, but a gift set. I pointed to the razor and asked him to either a) get a manager so we could get clarification or b) scan the coupon and if it gets rejected I will leave the items. He scanned the coupons.

I got told the same thing yesterday. I also had the Old Spice $2 off gift set coupon, so she stated i could get that gift set but not the razor because it didnt say “gift set” on the coupon, and i was getting a whole set and not just the razor itself. I told her, that the razor is in there, why not??? So she made 2 calls on her little phone, talked to the person on the other end like i was a thief trying to scam Walmart, and she declinded my coupon. So i just told her fine, remove it & give me my coupon back. Little did she pay attention that i also did the Olay gift set, AND used the coupon for the lotion thats in the box…so?!?!?? I really wanted to point that out to her, but didnt wanna risk losing that deal too!!! I got so frustrated because this was my second trip to a walmart looking for these razors hauling around 3 kids, but i had a line half a mile long behind me and didnt want to burn any more holes in my back from the people behind me 🙁 I’m half tempted in trying to do self checkout today.

went to WM 2134 and got this deal…It was on the clearance rack where all the other gift sets were located at. There were only two more in stock IDK where the rest are at so I just grab it and there was still one more but I didn’t have another coupon. But there is another coupon in last month’s issue too so i’m waiting later during the week when these are 75% to 90% so then they become free + overage(;
My cashier looked at the coupon and the item and i was like thinking hmm he’s not going to accept it but when he scanned it went through w/o any problems. Seriously I hate it when that happens but its part of their job

Just thought I’d share that the Walmart on HWY 93 in Missoula, MT has a ton.
I went today, I found the gift sets in the razor section but they were still 14.99! I even checked at the scanner and the same price. I did get the last herbal essence, no olays left, so it wasn’t a total bust.
Went last night and just bought 4 and there were still about 30 on the shelf. Then I went back tonight and bought the last 6! Gave the others a chance, but now my husband is set for quite a while on razors, deoderant and bodywash!
I went to the newly renovated Walmart on Cobb Parkway the day after Christmas.They had 27 of them. We tired to buy them all using 27 $4 off coupons. They refused to give us the deal. The next day I came back and they only had 1!!! I tried it again and got a college guy as my cashier. He said his manager told him not to allow customers to use the coupon ecause it would make it free. He did anyway, and my total was .74 with tax. Hmm? 74 cents isn’t free to me? Anyway I have emailed Walmart’s corporate site, and can’t wait to see if they have a policy to allow cashiers to prevent customers from saving money. In the meantime I have gone to several Walgreen’s in Atlanta and I have goten 15 off these sets at 4.99. I used the $4 off coupons, and when you buy 10 of them you get a $4 off coupon for your next visit. So, I say forget about Walmart!! If they want to treat their customers like thieves when they just want to say money, well maybe they should change their smilely face to an evil grin.

I just dig some carts (sometimes they left different stuff in the carts in the store) around at local Walmart and found the gift set. Crossed my fingers, I scanned and it was $2.22 which was FREE after coupon!! Yey for another freebie I scored! The lucky part is, I picked a young girl as cashier and I was right. She scanned full $4 so it was moneymaker! They usually put exact amount for not to overage so I was very pleased the result. 🙂
