6 more boxes for me!! Just a heads up (I don’t know why I didn’t remember this from printing these previously) but an ad prints FIRST so if you flip your paper like I do you will have back to back coupons! Not good!! I lost one unless someone has a brilliant idea for me. LOL I discovered my 11 month old DD loves this. I stocked up on Honey Nut Cheerios last week now Special K. I love cereal!!

    • mtnhoney

      I did the same thing!

    • Pam

I’ve done that before. But since you actually did print 2 separate coupons, you could just copy one side and it wouldn’t be violating any coupon legality.

      • The deal

Wrong. Look closely they have unique codes. It is coupon fraud to make copies. Do not do it you will ruin things for people who follow the rules.

        • Sweent

She is just talking about copying the coupon that printed on the backside of her other coupon. Otherwise she won’t be able to use both of her coupons because they printed back to back. She will still only be using two coupons and they will each have unique codes.

      • Dianne W.

I’ve also done that. When two legitimate coupons print back to back on the same side of my paper, I have photocopied one of them to another piece of paper. I then take a sharpie marker and XXXX out the one I just copied from. That way the cashier doesn’t scan the wrong side of the double-sided coupon. Now my two legitimate coupons are on two separate pieces of paper. No fraud. Just fixing my paper flipping problem.

  2. Lpmousse

Wow Collin! My food bank will have more Special K than it will know what to do with! Yay!

  3. Jessica

Is there a limit on the RRs at Walgreens with the this deal?

    • Nicole

Usually a limit of 1 RR per product, per transaction. Buy the other sets in a different transaction/or trip and you will be able to repeat the deal.

      • Bobbie

So if you buy them in seperate transactions and receive 2 of the same RR’s can you then use both of those RR to pay for one order or do you have to use them in seperate orders as well.

  4. alyssa

    Yay! I used my previous 2 already at Kroger – 4 @ $2.78 – $4 PG deal WYB 4 = $0.39 each! Thanks for the update!

  5. Jennie

This is good news! My 13 yr old son ate 4 BOWLS of the Special K with strawberries when I got home. i don’t know if I can stock up enough!

    • Jaclyn

LOL! I have 5 boys & your comment totally reminds me of them. They LOVE cereal! It’s nearly impossible to keep a good stock on hand for as much as they eat! I start to panic when I get down to 10-12 unopened boxes because it will be gone in a blink of any eye! I’m afraid to see them when they are all tennagers!

    • lilbrett

I can relate!!! My 13 year old son does the same thing with my cereal!! Sometimes I hide it!!!

  6. Tera B.

Mine printed without a bar code…bummer.

  7. Trish

Didn’t work for me but good for the rest of you 🙂

  8. Elly

Worked for me! Yay! Lots of cereal for breakfast!

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    yay!! 🙂

  10. heather

It worked! For some reason it always tells me it can’t find the page I’m looking for but I just click up above on sign in, sign in again, and then the option button to print the coupon appears. Yay! My kids love the fruit and yogurt kind. Thanks!!

  11. Sara

If you use this at Kroger (Dillons here) their ad thru Tuesday has buy any 4 boxes of Special K for $1.99 each so pair it with this coupon and it is $1 a box! I just used my last 2 coupons a couple of days ago and so excited for this coupon again to go back and get 4 more boxes before ad is over!!!!! Thank you so much for all the work you do in researching and posting this to save the rest of us time!!!

  12. Brea

    I just printed 2! THANKS!

  13. Ashley

Awesome!! I plan on getting tons of this! I love Special K! Thanks Collin!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have gotten 9 boxes in the last week most at about 25-40 cents a box. I guess I’ll be heading to Walgreens again. The funny thing is we were down to just a couple of boxes. I like Special K because you can buy it without the sugary stuff.

    • melissa

what do you mean sugary stuff? They all have Sugar AND HFCS as ingredients listed!! Doesn’t make it any better than something like Lucky Charms!

      • Anonymous

Lol, right. B/c who cares about the total amount of sugar and corn syrup being different, and the whole low calorie, low fat part. It’s obviously exactly the same as lucky charms! :-b

  15. Yolanda

Thank you, Collin. I appreciate all you do for us.

  16. Cara

Printed for me, too. Thanks for the heads up!

  17. Amber

I used this today at Kroger bought 4 boxes at 1.78 used 1 BOGO and 2 $1 off I had 2 BOGO but the cashier took off 4.79 for the one I have no clue maybe thats the original cost??? Anyways all 4 were free!!! I will be going back and getting 12 more boxes tomorrow!!!

  18. MsMoneyStretcher

Thank u 4 the new link ….. gonna grab 8 boxes from WAGS

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The Hormel Completes meals go towards the resolution reward and they are free and also no tax on them since they are food. You really can’t beat that!!!!

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you, Collin! Was able to print 4. 🙂

  21. Brooke Lane

i tried the bogo at publix this week and they only deducted 2.00 off the cereal that I was “charged” for.. so in the end I payed like 1.00 something per box :-/ wish I would’ve just went to Rite Aid instead.. but I know better now and will do just that! Thanks for the second link 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you don’t live in Florida, it’s not a true BOGO… it’s actually only half price. So really they’re about $1.99 a box. Best deal scenario is to buy 4, use 2 B1G1 coupons, then use $1/2 from 1/2 SS, and pair that $1/2 target coupon. That should get you down to 50 cents a box 🙂

    • Cantey

the same thing happened to me at Publix. I thought I was getting 4 boxes for free and paid about $1 per box.

  22. Aiko

Thanks so much! I used 2 today… paid 60 cents got back $4 in +UPs. The looks on the faces of the coupon nazi cashier & assistant manager were priceless. Even though they limited me to 2 coupons per transaction I still score big! 😀

    • diane

great description of cashier, mine is the same way… thanks for the laugh!!!

  23. anna15nc

I did the FOOD LION deal. Buy 4 boxes of Special K and get 1 gallon of Smart Option OJ free. The Special K is 2/$5. I used 2 BOGO coupons and the register told the cashier to deduct $3.29 for each coupon so he did. The OJ was worth $3.79. Paid $3.42. Not free but 4 boxes of Special K and 1 gallon of OJ (we were out)!

  24. Jennifer

I was looking forward to free cereal this week so hopefully my Rite Aid gets more in on their tuesday truck. I went at 3pm today and they were all out of the original and had none of the honey kind listed on coupon. It said the first box could be any flavor but the freebie had to be original or the new kind 🙁 I went to RA today to make sure I got the deals and they were all sold out of the Hormel, Tylenol Precise, Special K and Stayfree. The cashier told me they were super busy this morning and had to actually put limits because some customers were being that greedy. He told me to try back tuesday night or wednesday morning after the truck comes back in. Walgreens was also already out of the regular at 1pm today too!

    • Robyn

I can’t stand the greediness sometimes. Anytime there is a MM at any of the stores in my area they are wiped out no matter when I go. I get so frustrated! At Publix they had the Peter Pan BOGO this week and when I went they were cleared out of every type because it was a money maker!

      • KathyT527

I so agree with you. I live in what I consider a small town and you start to feel that if you’re not out on Sunday…forget about getting into the “deal”. I don’t know if the stores don’t stock for the sales promotion or if there are that many people buying those particular products.
This week at CVS they had the ECB on paper products but were out of all the Scott “bonus” items advertised by noon on Monday. The other bummer was that I couldn’t get a raincheck because it was a special buy. 🙁

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

it is beyond hard for stores to have enough for the ad when they dont know there is all these coupons out there that make items money makers or free. when I ad order I order what I think will sale like other managers, and if you think about it, these stores would not run out if there was no coupons on these ad items and most shoppers are buying, in bulk….there is no system set up to let stores know that there is going to be coupons for items…..

  25. Sweet

Thank you so much for posting this! I was able to print two more! I got 4 boxes this morning at Rite Aid and the supply was very limited. I am sure that by tomorrow morning they will all be gone, if they aren’t already. Does anybody know if I can get a raincheck for B1G1 items? And still be able to use my B1G1 coupons when they get them back in stock? Thanks!

  26. sandra

Thank you!!! I was able to print only after hitting the new link posted on their site (on right side), good luck! These are triggering extra Up rewards for each box!!! Woohoo….

  27. Elaine

Thank you! Mine printed fine both this week and last week.

  28. Cynthia

If I bring home anymore Special K, my husband will make me audition for “Extreme Couponers 2” 😉
I have 6 boxes from the RA deal in the last 2 days!
BTW, it appears they have ~6 month shelf life.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

ours has a year shelf life, it just depends on where you buy it and how often they sell it. We bought from Publix 🙂

  29. Bessie

Wow! Thanks for the heads up Colin!!

  30. Mel

It won’t print again for me 🙁

  31. mipalady23

We love these cereals so I was VERY HAPPY when it printed twice for me!

  32. melly

does anyone know if its possable to get a rain check for the bygo cereal deal?

  33. chasity curtis

    I worked for me!!!

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Can I buy these and the granola bars at the same time and get two separate RR since they are both offering them? Thanks.

  35. Karen B

Got 30 boxes in total from Shoprite here in NY last week. 4 Special K and all others were General Mills. 4/$6.00, less coupons for all = cheap/free cereal, which we will eat every single morning, if it kills us, lol. Do appreciate these cheap cereal prices, as some boxes cost as much as a pkg of meat these days

  36. Kristen

Thanks, I was able to print 2 more. Will try to get more cereal at Rite Aid if they restock soon. If not, headed to Kroger to use them.

  37. Heatherili

My Rite aid would not let me use the coupons with the sale. Ugh! Anyone else have that problem?

    • Kim

Me too! It was my first time doing this so I wasn’t sure what to expect.

    • Racquel

My sis-in-law had that problem. But it clearly states in their policy that when they have a BOGO sale you can also use a BOGO coupon and get both items for free. You may want to call customer service and complain. So that way they can better educate the stores that do not follow policy.

  38. SUSAN C

I bought 8 boxes at Publix and used 4 $1/2 Target coupons in addition to the B1G1s, so I had $4 in overage which paid for the meat I bought. Yay!

  39. Dee

My Special K B1G1F coupons state I can only get 12 oz original or 13.6 oz multigrain oats & honey cereal for the free box. Nobody else has mentioned this. Anybody else have the same coupon?

    • melly

yup they all say that so you can get one box of what ever kind you want and one box of the origninal or honey oats

  40. julie

Didn’t reset for me 🙁 I went to RA today and used my other coupons but they were having problems with the computers so I didn’t get the unadvertised ups and it didn’t count towards my resolution. Tempted to return and then buy again but now my coupons are gone.

Does anyone know if they resolution amount is before or after coupons?

  41. Erika

I just printed these and took them (with the two I printed last time) to my Food Lion. The cashiers there acted like they thought I was passing fake coupons. They said they’ve had customers bring in printed coupons and when they were sent to the company they were rejected as phony. Oh well. They honored them in the end, and I got 8 boxes for $10 bucks. Still, it was discouraging.

  42. Christa K.

Wow, I totally missed the memo that the Special K cereal was one of the foods generating unadvertised +ups. My RiteAid was well stocked on the cereal & I was able to get an assortment of flavors. I used 5 b1g1 coupons for 10 boxes, paying the $.15 on each which still was an amazing deal. My jaw dropped open when the receipt kept printing with the extra $1 +ups for each box! I remember some food items were generating them but was delighted at what a money maker this turned it without planning it!

  43. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went to Rite Aid today and bought the Special K cereal that was BOGO and used it with my BOGO coupon and got it all free. What made the deal even sweeter they gave me an +UP reward for each box I purchased. I bought 8 boxes and got back $8 in +UP rewards. ;D

  44. Kim

I am disappointed that I couldn’t used the coupon towards the Special K cereal. I still decided to get the cereal after all I did get 2- $1 Up reward for it. So it was like paying $1.40 per box which is not a bad deal. I wonder if I should try a different Rite Aid because it seems like the one I went to will not let me use the deal there. Also because the coupon beeped that was the main reason I couldn’t use the coupon.

    • Christa K.

I could be wrong but my experience is that ALL b1g1 coupons beep. It’s because they don’t have a $ value assigned to them & it notifies the cashier they need to check the price & write it in.

  45. Eggie

Does anyone get Chex Mix RR deal posted at the end of Dec which sais it would run throuth Jan 21 (or 23)? My store had no sign, so I called the corporate. He said there was no RR deal for Chex Mix past 2 weeks, and wont have for next 2 weeks. Can anyone confirm?

    • Dianne W.

I got the $3.50 RR for buying 5 bags of Chex Mix last weekend (New Year’s Eve and Day). I did the deal several times that weekend, so guess what my kiddos are taking into school (for the rest of the year) when it is their snack days?!?

  46. Vickie

If you live in the South Texas area, HEB has a buy a box of Special K and get the Special K bars for free. So I was able to use the BOGO and got 2 boxes of the bars for free. 🙂

  47. Philina

I don’t know if anyone else posted this, but…I just got a deal at Walgreens. There is a $3 off coupon for Stayfree Maxi pads(28 to 48 pack) in this weeks Walgreens flyer(Jan. 9th – Jan. 15). Couple that with the “buy on get on free” Stayfree product in this weeks SS(Jan. 9). And you are getting 2 for $.79.

    • VERONICA FRANCOIS

I got that deal also, I ended up paying .49 Cents for (2) 36 count packs.

  48. Sarah

I printed the coupon twice and can’t wait to go to Target to combine this with $1 off two boxes from their site! Yippee!
