I was thinking of the Olay body wash ($7 each) to purchase $40 worth and get the $20 cash rewards. And Olay also has a rebates (Purchase $40 worth, get a $10 rebates) . I assume this is different from the Made to Save rebates from P&G. So purchasing the $40 will give me $20 Walgreens cash rewards plus the $10 rebates. What do you think? You guys are experts at this so I’d like to know your opinion if this makes sense.

Henry, the boosters show up anytime from Wed through Saturday as “Sneak Previews” effective on the following Sunday. Check and clip those right away since there is a limited time to clip them. Not everyone gets the same offer and there isn’t an offer every week for everyone. Check your emails since Walgreens often sends reminders to clip. Hope that is a little helpful.
I didn’t get the Braun or the Planters coupons and the website would not let me order Hallmark cards online. So I shifter gears and got the El’vive ($5.49 each as my store doesn’t carry the 2/$9 ones) and arm and hammer, but added the following:

Look in the product description for the Braun shaver. Scroll down to “Your available coupons”. Make sure you are logged in. If it is available to clip for you that’s where it will be.
NOTE: if you have already used the $20/$40 booster coupon, it will continue to appear in your “clipped coupons” even though it is no longer valid. You cannot use it twice. I thought that since it was still in my clipped coupon section, it was a valid coupon. I had to find out the hard way. I called Walgreen’s customer service and even spoke to a supervisor.

In order to get my $20 boost coupon does my order have to stay above $40 after coupons and does that mean I can’t use my Walgreens money?

Here is the formula: OOP + Manufacturers coupons only = the amount that Walgreens will calculate you have spent. Any Walgreens coupons, amounts discounted through codes, amounts paid with Walgreen’s cash, gift cards , etc will not be counted as having been spent because the customer did not spend it, it was discounted. In addition should your deal consist of multiple deals ( example spend $40 earn $20 WC combined with spend $20 on P& G products and earn $5 WC be sure you meet the terms of both deals when using a discount code.

Let’s say in Transaction 1, you do the “Spend X get $” deals like the one mentioned above and earned Walgreens cash rewards. And then you do Transaction 2 and use that Walgreens cash from Transaction 1 to pay for the “Buy # get $” deals. Can you still earn the Walgreens cash from Transaction 2?
