Amazon: *HOT!* 10 Reams of Hammermill Paper $6.07 Shipped (Price Mistake?)
I am guessing this is a price mistake on Amazon… but thought I’d give you all a heads up. Currently, Amazon has the Hammermill 10500-7 Copy Plus Multipurpose Paper, 8-1/2×11, White, 5000 Sheets(10 Reams) priced at just $6.07 with FREE shipping (regularly $69.99!).
Yes, Amazon may cancel orders… however, I purchased a price mistake item as I mentioned before – 3 bottles of EO Bubble Bath for$0.96 and surprisingly did receive my order, so it never hurts to try!

I just ordered at it was $6.07 again!!! I ordered for myself and my office.
I checked the price at 9:37 a.m. EST and it is now $44.14, so I guess amazon caught the error. I hope some of the hip2save readers really did get it for the $6 price!

Very strange…I checked it at 8:40 am and it was $6.07, then I went back at 8:41 am and it was $44.14. I guess now I’m a minute late and $38 shorter.

I got an email from Amazon confirming my order. Yes the price went up to $44.14 and it is being shipped by Amazon. On my order which I got for $6.07 is being shipped from shoplet.. Yah for me I will have paper for a very long time…. 🙂
YAY I got it! I learned that if I want something from Amazon when you post a great deal about, I shouldn’t hmm-and-haw about it because the price always goes up later that day lol! Thanks Collin. You are wonderful.

wow, I must have just squeaked in! Thank goodness b/c I was running low on copy paper. Now I”ll be set for a loooooooooooooong time LOL. Going to donate a ream to each of the kids schools for Teacher Appreciation Week.

I had to log back in to make sure I had the right shipping address set up and still had the option to “change” my order if I wanted to. Well I just checked again and it now says this: This portion of your order is being prepared for shipment and cannot be canceled or changed. So I’m very hopeful that it’s going to go thru! 🙂

I don’t think it is right… When I order this, it sends you to another website to order at almost $45.00…If it’s a mistake, then take it off. By law in the store they have to give it to you at the price they are advertising…i know I will not order again from Amazon…This happens to many times…
You won’t order from Amazon because of one price mistake? And if you notice, the product is sold/shipped from a different company, not Amazon.
i talked to shoplet and they said amazon made the mistake. it should have been 1 ream, not 10. if any one has a tracking no. to go with their order i would love to know the tracking no. Shoplet told me everyone’s order is being cancelled. i said that is not what i have read, she can only verify that an order shipped if there is a tracking number. if anyon has tracking nos., i would love to collect them and call them on this one. somebody, either shoplet or amazon, is not being honest.
They WERE advertising it at 6.07, but now when you click on Collins link, the price is changed back to $44.14. Amazon does this kind of thing all the time. I know I have debated something for a minute or two, then decided to get it, and its back up to regular price.
I didn’t use Collin’s link, I went straight to Amazon and typed in Hammermill paper and it was still $6.07.
I think the seller that was listed sold out so Amazon auto directs you to a “like” item. I love Amazon and have never ever had a problem with them.

I ordered 2 (one for me, and one for my parents) and both are still showing in My Orders at $6 each and it says shipping soon! I truly hope it does go through. We’re all on tight budgets and this will definitely save us money!

I ordered right when I saw the post and so far my order looks good. It says preparing to ship! I am really happy this came up because now I will be set with paper for a LONG time and I really was starting to run low. The store ran out, and it is now shipping from Amazon at $44. That is why the price changed, we all got good deals until the store ran out!! It is not anything Amazon did, it’s not shady, the store simply ran out so Amazon is offering the same product at their price.

Can anyone give me some suggestions on a good printer? I am looking for one but I do not have a clue what to get! Do I get a laser jet? Whats a good Brand? The main thing I am looking for is cheap ink! We do lots of printing and the cost is getting out of hand…..
I use a brother laser printer. I like it a lot. The ink cartridges last a long time and i think you can get them on amazon for about 40 bucks.
Also have a brother laser printer had it for 2 years now and only changed ink once cost about $45
I have an epson – but seem I see hp ink on sale always! I think others will know more tho!
I just bought a great HP Wireless/Scanner/Photo printer from Best Buy the other week. It was on sale for $69.99 (reg $99). So far no complaints!
I bought a Kodak printer from Walmart – The black ink is about 12.00 a cartridge and the colored is around 15.00!

Get a laser printer. I can print 10,000+ pages on one toner cartridge, which costs $40. I’ve had mine since college, it’s still running strong, and I’ve only had to replace the toner ONCE in nearly a decade. I print all kinds of things daily and never had a problem with coupons scanning at the register since the print is razor-sharp. I’m stunned that serious couponers use inkjet printers, what a ridiculous waste of money. I used to have a Kodak inkjet printer and yeah, the black ink might “only” cost $10 but I would run out of that within two weeks. If you used ink at that rate, you would spend $260 a year on ink alone. That’s $1300 in five years. I spend $40 on ink for my laser printer every five years!

Shop around, though, because you can find it for about $50. The toner carteriges print 1500 pages and can be given found for about $45 on eBay.

I just called Shoplet and they confirmed that mine are coming. I ordered 2 of them at 6 am and they just got my order. They lady on the phone said they only had enough to fill 17 more orders after mine (at 6 am) then they were back to full price.
would love to know if you got a tracking number. shoplet told me at 1:10 cst that noone’s order is shipping.
