Hi Collin! I know clearance can vary greatly from region to region, but I wanted to let you know about the clearance at my JCP store here in Michigan. Everything on the clearance clothes racks in kids and men’s was marked down to $2.97!!! They also had girl’s winter coats marked down to $6.97!!! I bought 6 shirts for my hubby, and for my girls I bought the following: 2 pairs of pjs, 2 1/4 zip fleece tops, 2 hoodies, 4 sweaters, 4 shirts, and 2 winter coats (see the picture above). Total with tax $79.86, saved $586.50!!!

My mom went to Jc Penney yesterday and made out like a bandit. She paid $150 and saved over $1,160! She got a lot of clothes including a leather coat and it averaged out to be about $3 an item! Way cool! I will be looking this weekend for sure!

My friend was in the shoe dept @ JCP last week & picked up 4 pair of cute originally $70 shoes for $7.97 each. Luckily, she is a fellow bargain shopper & was kind enough to pick up 2 pairs for me 🙂 I looked online & one of shoes is currently on sale for $49.99 so online prices are not always the same as in store.
Plus, if you have a receipt for JCP, on the back should be an invitation for an online survey. After you complete the survey, you will be able to print a 15% coupon for your next purchase!
Hmm…my store has stuff on clearance but it is still like 4.97 and 6.97 just for kids shirts and pants…When will they be marked down further?
My JCP in Ohio was at the same price level today. I hope I can catch some deals when my store makes its final markdowns!

if you go you should save some stuff at the counter and come back for it and use the 15% off coupon on the back of your receipt!!

I snagged 10 Arizona shirts for my daughter the other day for $10! They were .97 each! Yahoo!
I LOVE PENNYS!!! I’ve gotton in this sale in years past. This time of year all clearance goes to about 70-90% off!!! Awesome find.
Wow that is amazing! I will have to head over to JCP! Mine is right by a Pei Wei, so I can pick up my free meal coupon while I’m there! I also live in Michigan and got some awesome deals at Meijer today also; all their clearance clothing is 50% off the lowest price! I got a fleece jacket for $1.00!

They have the same kind of deals in the Washington, MO stores. I ended up there twice yesterday. They had girls holiday dresses, kids pj sets, boys heavy jackets and lots of other clothes for 2.97, the little kids section had footed jammies and other jammies for 1.97 and boys socks 6 packs and 3-6 packs of underwear for .97! I had the 15% off coupon to make it better yet. So I had 57 items and paid $122 and it says I saved $1400! Got to love that – and my kids are shocked on some items for a few years!

The JCP in Fargo, ND is getting ready for a remodel. So, A LOT of things are clearanced down to $2.97 and A LOT more will also be clearanced over the next few weeks. My husband works there so we get a 20% discount even after the clearance price! I’m not sure if this is happening at other stores or not, but you might want to keep your eyes open!
Sears also has great clearance right now! Lots of misses, juniors, and kids for 1.99!! I bought winter coats for 7.00:)

And a heads up too, Old Navy has their clearance an additional 50% off here in Buffalo, NY. I saved over $100 and only spent $17.86.
I work at The Childrens place, and our clearance is 4.99 or 9.99.
I got some items on clearance at childrens place for $3.
Does anyone know when the children’s place clearence will go to the 1.99,2.99. and 3.99. I have to plan a trip when it does. My store is 1 1/2 hour aways.

was @ macys yesterday and all their junior sweaters (shirt style and regular button/zipper kind) were 3.99. picked up a few for myself.

Bummer I was just at JCP and didn’t find any good deals. I did however go to sears and bought 6 new outfits for my daughter and paid $28.62 after taxes. I ended up saving over $300. It was a great find since she will be starting preschool on Tuesday. I’ll have to keep checking back at JCP to see if I find any good deals this weekend.
I love clearance at JCPenney. I recently bought 3 semi formal dresses (50.00 each reg price), 1 dress jacket, 4 pairs of winter gloves, 1 winter hat, and 1 scarf for less than 60.00. Finally got that little black dress for my closet!
I LOVE my local JCP! Just last Friday DH and I were shopping near some of the last of the Christmas stuff while the employee was marking things down. There was 1 7′ Texas pine tree with 400 “Locked On” lights still in the box for $91.97. That was 80% off. The original price was $459.99 !!!! She walked over to me and said she was just going to mark it down to $19.99!! Bought it for my oldest daughter who has been looking for an inexpensive but NICE fake tree. I saved $439 .
i got a long sleeve shirt for $2, and it happened to be the same brand and style of the one i had bought back in december for $12. also got a realy cute purple jacket for $7. and a sweater for $4. had a great time.
i also had a coupon on the back of my receipt for 15% off anything if i did a 5 min survey even off clearnece!!

I also went yesterday, spent little over $80, saved almost $500. I also used the $10 coupon on purchases over $50. Got 2 huge bags of clothes, 2 jewelry sets and 1 toy item. I didn’t think I would ever get out of there! SOOOO FUN!
Oh, also got a Sharper Image clock/radio/20 relaxing sounds for only $10, normally around $40 from what I’ve heard.
Haven’t made it to jcp yet but earlier today they were advertising thier clearance to be 80% off on tv, I am in springfield, IL.

My target has items in kids section marked down to $1.00 and $2.50 and Old Navy had some items marked at around the same price. Went to JCP and wasn’t too crazy about their sale….it was so picked over and very few items in the sizes I needed. Thank goodness target came to my rescue and so did Old Navy!!
Went yesterday to my store in the Philadelphia area and got a whole bunch of baby clothes for a baby shower. They had a lot of baby clothes for 1.97. Most of them were by Carters and Osh Kosh. Some were even 2 piece sets and I got a couple little jackets with hoods. About a third of of them them rang up for higher prices but the cashier had to overide them because the tag was marked down. Spent $17.73 in the morning with a savings of $142.27 and went back after work and spent $11.82 with a savings of $136.18.
Yes, watch while the cashier is ringing up. Not all of it is ringing up correctly, they may have to override.
Speaking of JCPenney’s, can I get a shout out for the cute little original store? Any Kemmerer residents out there? Once a small little department store . . . . now a huge chain of stores . . . . it makes me smile to see all the great deals everyone is getting!
I lived in Opal for 4 years actually, and JC Penney was the only clothing store in Kemmerer!
I grew up in Kemmerer my whole life. Penney’s is the only store there. My parents still live there. Crazy little town 🙂
Ask your store when they do markdowns if they aren’t already low prices. The sales clerk told me to come back on Mondays because that is when they mark it down more. I snagged 1 pair of cords, 1 sweat shirt, 1 fleece, and 2 shirts for my son for less than $25 and I have the 15% coupon for the next trip.
Got two piece button up top pajamas for $4.97, and infant/toddler onsies $1.97. Bought 20 items for $98, saved over $330.
Great job on those sale items. I would think paying 6.0000% sales tax is great too.. That is nice. Here in Olathe KS, our sales tax is 8.65%

just got back from penney’s spent $207.71 saved $1775.89, sheets for 3.37, boys and young men clothing, scarfs most of the kids stuff is next years school clothes. yay. i wait for this time of year for their school clothes, cant afford it any other way!

I stopped today, here in Idaho, and picked up 4 reusable shopping bags for $.37 each. I love these and use them for gift bags, I would have gotten more, but that was all they had. I filled out my survery and will take my dd’s back in the am to try stuff on. DD 9 is a hard fit, so I wanted to make sure. They had jeans for $1.97, and I am going to cut them off, and hem them into shorts, if we can find some that fit.

No, it was the Idaho Falls store. I went back today, with my extra 15% off coupon and scored big for my oldest, she is so hard to fit, but we found short, long pants, shirts, jackets, and more, 25 items for less than $50.00, it was incredible.
I am thinking about heading to the Boise store tomorrow. Did they not have items marked down very far yet? I am looking for boys clothes and in the big and tall department.

I went to both Yonkers and Penny’s. Penny’s had some cute footed Pajamas for my daughter for 3.97 and men’s button up dress shirts for 4.97.
At Yonkers I picked up some really cute sweaters in the JR department for 5.97.
