On these Butterfinger coupons, when they say in parentheses available at Rite-Aid, or available at Walgreens, does that mean those particular coupons HAVE to be used at the store that it says it is available at? Or is that just to let you know that you can get the Butterfingers at that store if you want, but you can use it elsewhere as well?

WAL-MART has recently updated their coupon policy and it states the following:
Some MANUFACTURER’S coupons may have a competitor logo on them, BUT as long as it has “MANUFACTURE’S COUPON” & has a scannable bar code,it CAN be scanned @ Wal-Mart as a manufacturer’s coupon.

I am unsure about other stores policy on this.

Jessica, as long as it’s a manufacturer coupon you *should* be able to use it anywhere. I say should only because I have a family member at Walmart and they are not allowed to accept any coupons at her store with other store logos on it so it just depends on your store’s policy. HTH!

The store logo is just there to be like a subliminal message. As long as it says Manuf. Coupon you should be able to use it at any store. However, some stores are picky and don’t want to accept coupons with other store logos, so if you get shot down, you could tell them it doesn’t say Valid ONLY AT and has a coupon redemption address for brand.

Reminder to swagbucks users, print these off through your swagbucks account to 10 SB for each coupon redeemed. I had my first 20 SB credited to my account this week for coupons redeemed, so it is working! 🙂

Are you kidding me, I didn’t know that. is it all coupons or just certain ones for swag bucks

      • andrea

It’s the coupons.com coupons. Mine were credited this month as well. It’s a great program.

    • Laurie M.

      How does that work???

      • Kavi Ravi

Laurie…you can go to swagbucks home page and under “Earn” tab there’s a option that says”coupons”…if you click that…it will take to coupons.com through swagbucks…if you print and redeem from your account…it credits 10SB for each coupon..but it may take up to 8 weeks, but apparently it credits!

I was worried, but I just had some post two weeks ago that I used around Christmas time so it was a nice surprise of 80 swagbucks when they showed! I am excited to get 6 free packs of Butterfingerz bites and then hopefully 60 swgbucks to boot!

Go to the home page for Swagbucks. On the left under Quick links is a tab for “coupons”. Then print coupons and earn points!

I have now had 220 Swag Bucks from coupons – Love it! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

what is the advantage to collecting “swagbucks”?

      • andrea

You can save up 450 swagbucks and then exchange them for a $5 amazon.com gift card, or there are other prizes available for differing amounts. I just like the amazon cards. They never expire and you can save up for Christmas/birthdays etc. I already have $10 just since the beginning of January. If you prefer cash and have a paypal acct $5 paypal credit is 700 SB.

I’ve seen a number of postings lately on other blogs with links to zip codes. I question if it’s ethical to use another zip code to access coupons that may not be available in your local zip code?

    • Bee

I don’t think that is the purpose. I think they break it down by zip code in order to offer items that are actually available in a certain region. Believe it or not, a lot of items are only available in specific areas of the country. It’s targeted marketing. It’s not really an attempt to shut out certain people from getting a certain coupon.

Does anybody know how to tell if Swagbuck Coupons have been credited to your account?

    • Sara

Yes, when you’re on the home page roll your mouse over your swagbucks number total on the top right of the page, a menu will appear, click My Swag Bucks, then there will be two tabs “summary” and “ledger.” Click on the Ledger tab and it will have the breakdown of all your earned swagbucks. Mine was labeled “Special offer: Coupon Redemption.”

Walgreens has these Butterfinger snackers 5/$1 today!

  10. Wendy

    Thanks….was able to buy 12 this morning…

Does anyone know if you use a different computer, but sign into your Swagbucks and reprint the coupons off that you’ll still get credit for Swagbucks? I am hoping so….I am going to try to hook my laptop up so we can get some more!!!
