it is various places, you really have to look around. I have seen it on end caps, by the pharmacy with diabetes stuff and on the shelf. No 2 stores have been the same and many people have been having trouble finding them. I can’t even remember what section I found mine on the shelf in…. but I know it was not in several placed I looked first. Sorry I can’t be more specific.
Unfortunately, my Rite Aid only carried the liquid (not the gel) but it was located in front of the pharmacy counter with diabetic supplies. Since it was the liquid, it’s NOT valid toward the rebate 🙁

In my state utah there are only two stores within a half an hour drive. So they r out of stock on well everything. I did the coriciden and afrin earlier and bought a few other items. Oh, and if anyones wondering, the neuragen LIQIUD (.17oz) is in the diabetic section, it rings up at the same price BUT IS NOT THE ITEM FOR THE SCR. The item for the scr is the Neuragen GEL .28 which is located near the aspercreme, and the thermacare. It is very small, and quite easy to miss, so don’t lose hope if you can’t find it!!! 😀

My special cashier at RA helps so much! I always manage to forget my wellness card, so I’ve asked him to use my phone number so much, I don’t even need to ask anymore, he just puts it in! He even puts it in for people who don’t have it, and then lets them sign up for a wellness card. He asked me if I wanted to though. Why wouldn’t I say yes, it adds to my winter rewards! xD 😉 Having a passion helps me get such great deals!
On the other hand, being a great couponer has it’s bad things. I ran out of room in my closet , so now i’m resorting to storing some of the things i buy in shoeboxes. LOL Dawn I am like you I have soooo many ups I do not even know the count. After this weekend of huge money making and free stuff it is astronomical. I still have a couple of GOS to spend, a couple of resolution rewards and thanks to the great sales this week I already qualified for my winter rewards on both my card and my mom’s card. 🙂 So much play money and only one place to spend it eek! Thankfully I was able to convert some of it in to real money thanks to the neuaragen deal and the Amo Complete. I have 3 addys to use so I did both of those 3 times. 🙂 (plus I made an additional $1 as I had a $2 coupon that my stores had taped to some of them a while back and I took a couple as I knew there would be a sale somewhere, hee hee. Unfortunately I only had the 1 left, but I had the $1 Mq’s for the other 2.) I went tonight and furiously tried to turn over the ups I just got from the coricidin and afrin as they screwed up and printed with a 1 day expiration date (today) so I am not sure what will happen. Ooh, sorry about that, no. Ask your store manager, some of them might make a small exception if it’s only been a day, and make it go through, but it beeps “expired” and all. I don’t know if corporate can do much about it, certain store managers may be nice though. 😉 HTH!

Sweet, thanks sooo much! Also–just learning about “rolling” your UPS into multiple transactions–do you usually do these in one trip. Do you just unload all your items and do 3,4,5 diff transactions back to back? Do they allow you to do that? I send my husband because I find all the cashiers never really question or give him a hard time about my coupons–I bet he will just LOVE that! I wish my MIL would watch our kiddos so we could have a Sunday morning drugstore date. He seems to get a kick out of it as much as me.
I do 2 transactions at a time, unload, and then do the next 2, etc. 🙂 They don’t complain, i’ve ripped ups off receipts in front of them, and they just scan them. 🙂
I do as many transactions as it takes. LOL I broke up my run into 5 trannies tonight (as I limit the # of ups I will be receiving to under $15 as I have had issues before if there are too many in 1 transaction 1, some, or all will not print. I had 2 carts full broken up into 4 transactions (that was all I could fit) and then took them out to the car and came back and did 1 more. 🙂 I could have done more, but i left some for others and I was hungry and wanted dinner. 😀 So do as many as you would like. They usually call over another cashier when I start so I do not hold everyone up, but yesterday another lady was arguing with the cashier for forever and then I looked back and saw this HUGE line so I let some people go before I proceeded with my additional transactions.

I am new to all of this but finding so great deals. Is it just me because I have a hard time considering or referring something as free or .99 after the +ups are factored in. It’s not like the value of the +ups goes back in your bank account and whatever the base price of the product was has to come out of my pocket. Of course I understand the +up can be used on future transactions but I seem to be spending more out of pocket then I would like because I get swayed by the “it’s like getting it free” advertisements. Why do I only seem to be the only one annoyed with the out of pocket expense just to get the +ups?
After you play this drugstore “game” for a while you learn to roll your ups so that your out of pocket is minimal and most of your transaction is paid for with your previous ups – to get more ups! I personally try to only buy stuff that I’m actually going to use and would normally buy. Just getting something for “free” is still a waste of gas money if it’s a product I’d never use.
I only pay tax and even then I use SCR money for that – always have my SCRs loaded on a gift card. I get anything that is free or a MM and take it in to work. My co-workers LOVE me and everything always gets taken. My available ups goes up and down, but I always have plenty to use and plenty of SCR $$$ to pay for the tax. Sometimes I even use up the UPS – couple weeks ago I had $108 and Now I’m down to $50 and I have my last SCR check which is $46.00 to put on a gift card. I love RA because since I have started I have lost NO Ups because of expiration and I’ve been able to roll them since I started and with the SCRs I NEVER pay oop – so for me everything IS free or a MM except for the very first purchase I made.
I do something very similar to you and I never pay anything oop. not even when my total comes out to like $.35. LOL 😉 I roll everything into everything and make money as much as I can. I rarely roll into a situation where I use more UPS than I will get back unless I actually need something or in the case of the ice cream really want it and I figure $.99 is a good price so I sacrifice an extra $1 up to pay for it. 🙂
I have been “playing” the Rite Aid game for over a year now and it took me about three months before I finally didn’t have to pay so much out of pocket, BUT that was before the UP Reward program started. Now with that in place, I think it would only take a few transactions to get things rolling, maybe a month at the most to roll the money from your SCR’s. Rite Aid is now my favorite, favorite place to shop as I pay pennies on the dollar and walk out making money every time. Stick with it and trust me, it will all be worth your time!
Pam, I thought I was the only one who thought like that. I also don’t want to spend a lot of money on things that I don’t really need just so I could get +Up rewards. The deals sound great, but I’m still having a hard time spending the money.
You really are only paying pennies out of pocket to get ups, believe me!!! Today I bought over $200 worth of stuff, started out with $36 in ups and left the store with $110 in ups, so Rite Aid paid me to take it all. I paid $3.80 OOP today, that’s it!!!! That was just for tax! And this wasn’t even my best haul, in the past 2 weeks I’ve saved over $600 and made money every time.My purse always has ups! I’ve never had to pay for diapers or formula for the past year, and now with the food items its an extra bonus! I love rite aid and worry someday I’ll wake up from this awesome dream and have to start paying for stuff. Don’t worry, you’ll soon get bitten by the rite-aid bug and you’ll be dreaming the same dream 🙂 zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

it was regional. I know the LA times did not get in here in S CA yet my local San Diego paper did. Usually it is the other way around and the LA Times gets better Q’s…. so go figure. If you have a Walgreens nearby go get the diabetes and you magazine for a coupon there. HTH

I ordered mine off couponsbydede! First time I did it…but couldn’t pass up the $10 MM!!! Probably going to do a lot more of it in the future, just have to order at least 3-4 days prior to the sale. Iheartriteaid and other blogs list the ads for future weeks and help you to plan when you need to order coupons. I am not a big fan of doing so for the smaller things…but to make $10….I think so!!!
Can’t you use the free NY Bagel Chips Qs (Expire 1/30) towards the purchase $15 get back $5 Ups? You’d pay nothing for them which would help with the OOP. They are shown in the ad.

The q beeps b/c the cashier needs to enter a price. It will beep no matter what store you use it at, its the way the coupon is coded.
Well they should beep for price….. Luckily my store looks at the beepers and reads them.

Has anyone had problems with Ups being printed? I know I heard last week or the week before that no more than 25 ups would print in one transaction….I’m afraid since there are so many ups on lots of products this wk that they wont all print!!
Its 25 ups coupons….so your value could be $50, $60 or what ever but as long as there is less then $25 up “coupons” you should be fine. You could separate your transactions too.
So if I think I may receive more than 25 ups I should split up my purchases? That stinks…I remember a couple wks b4 Christmas getting 40 some ups in one transaction!
mine was 20 last several weeks, and this week I did not get 1 of mine and I had 15 that printed so I am keeping it to 15 and under per trannie.
Its 20 +up’s right now, and thats only because there was some coding problem with the registers (if you went over 20, for a while, it wasnt printing out any!) So I would play it safe for now, and try to stick to 20 or under.

I am new to doing Rite Aid deals. Would anyone answe my questions? I did watch the video and read the store guide. I am wondering if there is a limit? Like, i know some say limit of one but others say nothing. For example, there is toothpaste that is 2.99 but gives a 2$ reward. Then there is a 1$ coupon making it free. Just wondering how you know how many you can get for free. And, how about the Heart promo, is there a limit? Also, when i was there today, they scrutinized my coupons for Digestive Advantage, and then the cashier had to get an approval for me to use two up rewards in same transaction. Nope, the ones that don’t state a limit, there are no limits. Sometimes they put in a limit midweek, but that’s very rare. What? The cashier had to get approval for you to use $2 UP rewards? i am kind of confused. XD I guess you have a coupon tough storee, or it might have been just that cashier. The heart promo, and other promos that go across months, are normally limit one. 🙂 HTH!
Tricia, I wish I could answer all of your questions, but I’ve only been doing this for about 5 months and am still learning too, but I believe you can only earn the Heart Promo once, and Yes, you can use as many up rewards in one transaction as you want (they just can’t be aplied to the tax) Hope that helps a little. Also, I try to read others comments to see if anyone states how many times they were able to earn up rewards on the same item.

I printed the coricidin and afrin VV, the Jan & Feb Dixie Plates, $1 non-prescription purchase, and $2 winter reward. The RC #s aren’t at all clear on the coricidin and afrin. The $1 and $2 may be scannable with the barcodes mostly in tact. Anyone know of a way to re-print or how rite aid handles these situations?
Hey Liz, I work for Rite Aid, so, hopefully I can be some help. When I ring a customer, if the coupon can’t be scanned then the cashier/supervisor can manually put in the numbers so long as the first 11 numbers AFTER the RC are visible. The other optional is to ask them to manually put in how much the coupon is worth, however, depending on who you get they may not do it. I hope you can figure something out! 🙂
Thanks Mandee. That makes me feel a bit better. I also read in the Adperks FAQ that the support staff can unlock my printed coupons so I can re-print them. Just not sure how long that will take. In the case of coricidin the barcode looks good, but the numbers are not visible. Afrin I can kiss good bye because both are nearly impossible to make out. The $1 and $2 barcodes may scan and I can figure out the #’s on them, but I’m not sure someone in the store will be patient enough to work with me on this. Oh well. I’ll report back here what happens. My fingers are crossed.
Email support@adperk.com and tell them which coupons you need them to unlock, or maybe easier to tell them to unlock all, so you can just reprint everything again.
I contacted them before, and they usually can unlock on the same or next business day.
It took them about 4 days to unlock mine. it depends on how busy they are I was told.
I also had this once and it took them almost the whole week to unlock them, so I guess it varies. Best of luck!
Does anyone know if the Heart Healthy $10UP wyb $30 is renewed each week or is it a one time deal like the winter rewards? I earned the Heart Healthy Promo last week with the Nature Made vitamins. Can I still earn it with this new sale ad?
I do not know this for sure, but I ma pretty sure it is limit 1. Very few people qualify for it in 1 weeks time. If they reset it every week, most people would never get it. You will have to sign up a new card to get it again. I did both mine and my mom this week.

There isnt a list but! there are signs up in the stores for them. So its always worth peeking underneath the sale sign (please dont rip it off, though!!) to see if there is a monthly +up on that item. However, if something is on a monthly sale for a lower price, and the item is on sale BOGO for the week, you only get the BOGO at the regular price.

Colleen there are some special sale banners if you will at some stores. I finally found a store with some of the products listed on an endcap. However if you go to slickdeals and the Rite aid forum. at the bottom of the Wiki there is a list of the products that are rumored to be producing the extra $1 UP. HTH
Could you please explain this….is it possible to purchase 2 or more of the same item that have up rewards and receive those up rewards for each item in that transaction…for example: this week afrin is on sale…can i buy 4 afrins in one transaction and get those 4 $4ups that are attached to this item or do I need to break it up into 4 different transactions in order to get 4 $4up for each one I buy?
You can do as many together as you want, unless there is a limit on the items… then you will only get how many +up rewards as per the limit, no matter how many seperate transactions.
The BIC razors are on sale BOGO 50% off… and if you still have the BOGO coupons (I think they expire 2/6) you can get 2 for $3.24-$3.50… which isn’t bad, I feel, for $6.99 razors (the BIC Hybrid razors come with 7 cartridges!)
So, I read that on the video coupons, you are only able to print once and use once. I noticed that I had 2 of the same coupons with the same barcode number. Is only one of them valid? or could I use both? Thanks so much.
if they have the same bar code only one will work. However, be sure that it is the bar code that is the same and not the date. For some reason some of the Jan and Feb. VVQ’s printed with the Jan VV expiration dates. i.e. if you have 2 of the dixie coupons they may both say the expire 2/26 yet only one really will and the other will be good until 3/26. They will have different bar codes though!
Unfortunately, they both have the same barcode. There’s several coupons that printed that are probably duplicates. HMM, I wonder if there’s a glitch in their printing thing… which allowed enable me to print more than one. Weird.

As long as you have 4 items, you can use the 2 VVs. You can’t use 2 VVs on 1 item.
There is also still the $2/1 Ester-C coupon available on their Facebook page (Collin posted a link about 10 days ago), and a separate $2/1 on the Ester-C website! Just printed 4 of these! Woo hoo!

Okay, question for you long time couponers…I’m still learning. I have a few B1G1 free coupons for Gillette deoderant. This week it is B1G1 50% off at RA. So, do I get 2 for the price of 1/2?? Also, there is a $5 + up if I spend $20….is that before all of my B1G1 free coupons?? I want to make sure I go to the register with enough. If I make a mistake and do not have enough product and the +up doesn’t print, is it saved to my card and I can just go pick up another gillette to get to the $20? …..Thanks!! :0)

So, for any of you who have already been to rite aid today…are these “monthly ups” actually printing on the lays stacks and chex mix? Are these amazing ice cream and other food scenarios working? I’m a little nervous to try!!!! I’m going out tomorrow, and I don’t want to be dissapointed!!!

Chex mix will print $1 +up per bag you buy. (I bought 4.)
Lays will print $1 +up per container you buy. (I bought 7) No worries- at least 30 more in stock on the shelf, I did not clear the shelf.
Edy’s Ice cream will Print $2 +up per 1.5 qt container (I bought 2) but it DOES NOT print an additional $1 +up reward. At least it did not at my store in central michigan.
Also, I bought 2 colgate and received $2 +up for each… not related, just an fyi for anyone curious, you can do it at least twice.
well just to add to this…I bought 4 of the colgate and I did get $2 back for each…so you can def. do it at least 4 times!

Yes it is working. I bought the Lays chips today as well as the icecream. Everything is A OK in the land of RA.
