I also tried going through both those links and both ways it says I will receive free shipping if I refer 10 friends… It doesn’t say anything about a $10 credit….
I chose a $9 blouse and it automatically credited it in the cart w/ free shipping. My concern is that it is not a secure site. (According to my computer, at least). I don’t know how I feel about it.

I don’t think you can combine the vouchers, but you can do more than one order.

Hey Girl, I went to https://www.giltcity.com/invite/hip2save and created an account. Then it automatically pulled up the invite for $10 credit i put in 10 email addresses and pushed send invitations. I then got a page that said you have a voucher for $10 it expires 2/22/11. To check if it really showed up go to My Account (top right) and click on Special Offers (Bottom Left of profile bar) and a $10 discount should show up (if it doesnt try again). You can click on Invite Friends (top right) and send out as many sets of 10 invites as you want ( i reused some and it still worked and i get 4 seperate $10 discounts. Then i went to https://www.gilt.com/sale/children/gaggleofchicks/ss, it redirects to sign in (i used my username and password i just created on the previous site). Then I added a $9 top to my cart and went through checkout. It takes awhile to apply the discount but right below your total box (on the right of your info during checkout ) there should be a pull down box where you can select your $10 discount. The shipping should be automatically 0.00 and your total 0.00 although i did have to add a credit card it was NOT charged. I did this twice since i had some extra credits. After that you can even go back to https://www.gaggleofchicks.com/r/29841 and sign up get $10 on there site just for signing up ( and give me referral bucks *giggle* 🙂 theres a great deal today too where you get $10 in cool organizing notepads for $5 so you can get $20 FREE with your $10 credit! yay!

A little concerned…I referred ten friends, got a ten dollar credit, chose an item, after several times of trying, I got through to the final page to submit my order … and my credit disappeared. I decided to submit my order any way since it was a good deal … SUBMIT … got message “WE RECEIVED AN UNEXPECTED ERROR” … (SEEN THIS MESSAGE EARLIER) … so … I don’t know what’s going on … the http: is CROSSED OUT on top , so I don’t know if I just gave my credit card info out or not.

I had the same problem about 15min ago. Had the $10 credit. Put a shirt in my cart (there was a zero balance due at that time) went to check out and got the same message “unexpected error”. Signed out of my account and went back to put the shirt back in my cart and my credit was gone. Not sure if It went through. Checked my email for any confirmation that it went through, but nothing. Emailed them and let them know. Just waiting for a reply now.
Thanks … I actually just checked and I did get a confirmation that my order went through. Unfortunately it did NOT credit me my $10 so I called but they closed at 6pm EST. So, I too will email them. I wish you good luck…let me know if you here from them. God Bless!

Wow. I give up. I can’t figure this out. I have referred my 10 friends, it says that they are sent, but when I check on my credits, it says “0”. So I put something in my cart but it still would not acknowledge my $10 credit. So, I referred 10 more friends, still nothing. I give up. I’ve already hassled 40 of my friends (the first 10 I accidentally referred at Gilt instead of GiltCity, then I thought maybe I was supposed to be on GaggleofChicks, so 10 more referrals for Nothing.) Your credit won’t show under the Credits link, it will show under the special offers, you have it, if you pick something and go to checkout it will discount the $10 i promise!

I got it to work after going through all of the links but everything was pretty much wiped out of the sale items and I wasnt sure if you could get anything else on the site so I just got two shirts.
in order to get the free $10 credit you have to refer friends from the gilt city page. if you invite friends from the gilt page you only get a free shipping credit. because they are “sister” sites it doesn’t matter that you get the $10 credit from gilt city.. it will transfer over and be available in both sites. make sure the link you click to invite friends actually says free $10 credit and not free shipping!
