I love this juice too but I’m done with coupons.com until they fix there site. I don’t remember what they said before about the trojan or virus or whatever but it’s happened one too many times for me and only on their site. I have virus protection, firewall is on, etc.
Judy, if you have swagbucks and use FF…may be, you want to give a try. I haven’t had any issues so far (hopefully I won’t, fingers crossed)

I had the same problem. Scary virus popups. I heeded others’ advice and did not use Collin’s link and went directly to coupons.com and had no problems. I guess the bug is lurking in the link. I had this happen to me when I linked from another couponing blog as well.

FF is Firefox..its another browser like Internet Explorer (IE). Some have more luck using one or the other in different circumstances. Swagbucks in a search engine just like Google. If you sign up at Swagbucks.com and use their sites search bar, or download their search bar ( I choose not to..I just go to their site) you can win and earn points you can use to spend at the “Swag Store” or drawing type things. I’m still pretty new to it, but its fun and I already got myself 3 $10.00 Starbucks cards out of it. 🙂
OHH! Swagbucks also has coupons you can print (left hand site of their site). After you print them..redeem them at your store and your Swagbuck account will be credited some points. Seems no one is having problems printing coupons from their site.

I have been trying the last few days and when coupons.com comes up the page goes blank.
What’s up with coupons.com? I think it tried to give my computer a virus! Anyone else had problems?
Not personally, but there have been people reporting issues for several days, since last week anyway.
Like I said, it has been business as usual for me, and I’m pretty sure my computer would block it. Since people have been complaining, I have checked my computers back-to-front, checking my network map for intrusions, looking at the history, etc-nothing. My husband has worked over 20 years in IT and I have a Bachelor’s degree in IT.
No program is 100% fail proof, and of course people use different browsers with different settings, some do not do automatic Windows updates, running different versions of the OS, etc.
I use a Microsoft PC running Windows Vista.
same here bee, no issues and husband is IT. though in the past, i have gotten a virus from a coupon website and we had to reload, but only because we had our virus scanner/firewall off
it did something weird to me too..I quick got out. It said wait one min. for something..was not gonna wait and see what it was gonna give me..not worth the $1 coupon if it messes up the computer! oh well.
I am not having any problems.. I use a PC. I think it is your computers that need to be cleaned up. My kids use my PC too. Since I don’t watch everything they click on, as a precaution, I virus scan all…the…time. I use malwarebytes and ad-ware as my primary scanners. HTH
I use those too and there are too many people having problems for it to be just us.
WARNING: I JUST tried to get on coupons.com to print a couple of coupons and it tried to give my computer a virus, so the virus is DEFINITELY not fixed!

My computer got a pop up saying something about a virus. I turned off my pc quickly and luckily did not get a virus. Beware!!

Collin, I think the coupons.com virus thing is targeted to your site/link somehow! Please don’t take me wrong, I am not saying it is your fault or anything but when I just go to coupons.com by typing it in myself, I can print coupons just fine with no virus popups. When I go to coupons.com by clicking on your links, I get the virus popup. Just thought it may be something you want to check in to because if we all start going to coupons.com on our own you wouldn’t get the credit for it! You probably haven’t had any problems because you aren’t clicking on your own link! It has something to do with your link! I hope the problem gets fixed really soon! Thanks!

I am pretty sure that it’s not my link that’s infected. I have read comments on lots of others blogs regarding readers having the same exact issues with Coupons.com. And I have clicked on my Coupons.com link and have never had an issue (I do have a Macbook).
I use your links all the time and I have never had any virus issues. I do use FF now, pretty much never use IE anymore.
I have a mac and with my mac I never have a problem. But I did get a really bad virus last year on my hubby’s laptop. He was NOT happy. I will only do IP on my mac now as a result. It was a real pain to fix. I have other friends who got the same virus, sounds like what everyone here is describing. No idea if it’s a link or the site or what, but I just stay away unless I’m on my mac.
I went directly to the site on Friday and was just clicking the “Next” button through the pages to look at coupons and by about page 7 it popped up. I’ve heard stories of it coming up for people who go directly to coupons.com and also clicking links on blogs. It’s not just Hip2Save =( It’s an issue with coupons.com, not blogs and bloggers and links. Wish they would fix this!!
I had issues last week with my computer after visting coupons.com through this link. We had to wipe out our entire hard drive and reinstall everything and I haven’t been back to coupons. com since. BUT, I just went directly to coupons.com on a laptop and after going through several pages the virus warning popped up! I did what other commenters suggested and just shut down the computer. It’s my sister’s so hopefully I didn’t mess it up! I’m really bummed and hope that this issue gets resoved quickly b/c I’m missing out on good coupons. My husband says it’s time to get a Mac!
I also don’t think it’s this site and link, I just wanted to point out that I’ve had the virus pop-up both with and without the link and on 2 different computers. I really do think it is coupons.com that is having issues!
I went to Coupons.com directly and the virus popped up. It has nothing to do with Hip2Save.
I have started printing off my coupons only at Swagbucks, and the added bonus is you get 10 swagbucks for every coupon you print and redeem. If you are new to Swagbucks, it’s a great way to earn great rewards like a $5 amazon card for 450 swagbucks just for doing things you already do like use a search engine. I haven’t had problems with Coupons.Com; Perhaps you should download some free virus software (https://www.avast.com/index) or (https://www.malwarebytes.org/)
I was gonna say the same thing but didnt wanna offend Collin either. I never use the links from anyones site, I always go directly to coupons.com.
I was thinking the virus was redirected thru hiptosave’s link as well, since it only seems people from this site are getting a virus. I have no virus protection, and I have no viruses or probs printing directly from coupons.com either, so its gotta be this site.
I think we can voice our opinion without offending Collin, she knows we love her 🙂 At least if there is an issue she is aware of it,

go into your printer settings, it’s probably in your queue and just hasn’t printed yet.

If it says “Print Limit Reached” it means that the coupon was printed the maximum number of times by your computer. Are you on a shared computer? If you went to a different computer you would see the coupon still.

Here’s a thought..i had my pop up blocker off. I think coupons.com mentioned in the post they sent to H2S a posible redirect on one of the pop-ups. May have nothing to do with it and may not help but I turned my blocker on and clicked the pages and so far no problem. The adds change on the right side when you click through the pages so maybe it’s linked to one of those when pop up blocker isn’t on. I’m not an IT : )

No problems for me with coupons.com or Hip’s site. I’m running AVG and it usually catches all that. Plus I use FF too. Funny how everyone is pointing fingers at the possible links, but how about being P**sed at the intruder who is causing these problems!!

I too have only every gotten the popup for the virus thing when I went through Collin’s link, but my sister also got it and I am pretty sure she didn’t go through Collin’s link. I ended up going to task manager and shutting it all down then printed my coupons off through swagbucks. I usually forget to use swagbucks, but I guess because of this virus thing maybe I will get in the habit of using them to print my coupons! Just wish they would get rid of their stupid virus.
I never go thru the main coupons.com any more. I have both MyPoints and Swagbucks and I always print my coupons thru them. Haven’t got any virus. Keeping my fingers crossed.
A couple of weeks ago I picked up a coupon booklet while I was at Target which had a $1 off 1 Simply Orange Juice. It is a Target coupon so it could be stacked with the manufacturer coupon for an awesome deal.
I have tried twice and keep getting the virus too, scared to try again and that’s the only juice we drink.

I tried to print the coupon, but got the pop-up. I had to close it using Task Manager, then ran a lengthy virus scan. Collin, please don’t recommend Coupons.com until they fix this problem!

I do believe that coupons.com may still be experiencing some virus activity I had some strange things happen while trying to print these coupons and I didnt bother with printing anymore.

I was able to print this coupon 4 times—twice on my desktop, twice on my mom’s laptop—this morning from the Coupons page @ swagbucks.com (for the 10 SBs per coupon redemption). Didn’t have any weird popups. Thank goodness.
I wouldn’t touch coupons.com with a ten foot pole. I got a virus, luckily I acted quickly and got my antivirus program running and was able to take care of it.
I just tried to use this coupon last night after I printed it out..at my local Pick-N-Save. It was coming up ‘mnfr has recalled this coupon’ The cashier gave me the coupon back on my request but she said “It’s not going to work anywhere else’ I will try it again somewhere else but we’ll see if it works. I do doubt it

BUT … I have been going directly through coupons.com since then & it STILL happened to me yesterday. I’ve run full scans through Malwarebytes, Spybot and SuperAntispyware & all of them have come up clean. I guess I’ll try the FF Swagbucks way & keep my fingers crossed.
I tried to use the coupon for Simply Orange at my local grocery store and they would not accept it. So I called Simply Orange and was notified that only their coupons are authorized. Such as the ones that you get in the Sunday Newspaper. No printable coupons.
The same thing happened to me today at ShopRite! So embarrassing 🙁
I also had problems using this coupon at Shoprite today. It came up as Invalid Coupon. I’ve never seen that happen before. They sent me to customer service but they refused to take it there also. I can’t believe that the Simply Orange people would say that it’s not their coupon, they had to have authorized its placement on coupons.com. I won’t be at all happy if that is how they respond when I email them.
