Borders is offering up a new high value in-store coupon: save 40% off the list price of any one item! This coupon is only valid through 2/14, so you’ll want to hurry and make use of it over the weekend. This is a great way to make your own sale at Borders and remember, this coupon doesn’t have to be used on books. I’ve actually snagged some inexpensive toys for my kiddos previously with these 40% off coupons!

Yay! Love these coupons!!! Careful, a LOT of their toys (esp. Legos) have a 30% mark-up in the first place, so you’re not saving a TON, but usually only about 10%, if at ALL. 🙂 I always use the coupon for American Girl mini dolls or crafts, or Melissa and Doug toys too. Gotta love getting off 40% retail WITHOUT paying a stupid fee like Barnes and Noble “memberships”.
These are great coupons. There are lots of kids paperback books priced at 3.99 (kids rack in kids section). My son always finds a cheap book to read.
I used the last one to buy a Monkey Jumping on the Bed game for my daughter that she just adores, definitely going back again. I have the Plus membership and while I used to despise the pay membership it’s paid for itself already between the Borders bucks I got back and the additional 10% off everything.

FYI, Borders is starting to file for bankruptcy. Read some stuff over the internet, apparently they will close about a third of their stores, they are hoping to avoid what happened to Circuit City.
