Aww man! I just ordered this last night but as a meal so not .88 cents. There wasn’t even any promotional ads in the store. I wonder if it varies by location. I am excited about this one though! They are good and filling!
I went to our local store yesterday & it was not advertised anywhere! I asked before ordering & they were just $0.88. I made a mistake & ordered two. Ugh…they are filling; one will do for me 🙂 There is a limit of two per purchase.

I don’t eat at Taco Hell…I mean Taco Bell very often but the Crunchwrap Supreme is pretty tasty & yes, very filling!

I’m going to be a bit of a buzz-kill here…but did you know that Taco Bell beef is less than 40% actual beef? The rest is “fillers”. I stopped eating there when I heard that.
I heard that too…what are the “fillers” is my question??? 😛 Since hearing that I’ve only eaten there once and I ordered the 7 layer burrito because it doesn’t have any meat.
There is a lawsuit going on right now because their meat is mostly fillers. If you haven’t seen it, I definitely advice everyone to watch FOOD INC. It is a real eye-opener. There was one segment at a company that makes the ‘filler’ I am not going to say what it is, but it didn’t look good. Definitely watch it, it changed my entire outlook on the food industry!
That movie is AMAZING. I think everyone should watch it. I get things at Taco Bell either with beans or just no meat. They taste great 🙂
I read this as well. I just can’t get the image out of my head of list of “ingredients” they put in. Although, we’d really be shocked and would stop eating out if we knew all the secrets of the fast food industry…

If you go to the link that she posted, there is a section on there that will explain the fillers. It says 88% beef and then it explains what the other 12% is.
its 88%. besides, it’s super cheap fast food. what do you expect? 🙂

My husband and I got in on this deal yesterday. It wasn’t advertised at all in our Taco Bell but we asked and they were in fact .88 cents. We ordered 2 each but they are very filling! I ended up having one left over for later.

Thanks for posting this! I am so excited. Excellent “on the go” food at a great price. I’m Taco Bell’s #1 fan and I am backing them on the meat thing. They use 88% meat and the rest makes up their sauce like taco seasoning, just like if you made it at home. Makes sense to me.

Had one for lunch today. You’re right when you said one is enough. Quite filling….maybe it’s the fillers…LOL. Probably not the best for you but…for .88! Darn. Lucked out. No promotional posters or anything like they usually do. But asked, and yes $.88 limit 2 per customer (is that per order, or if there’s 4 in the car, you can get 8?). Ordered 2, only managed to eat one for lunch. Dang good for the price!
Went there last night with 2 teenagers, 2 per person? i could only get 2 for 1 person, and so the teenagers got each one, and I got none. not a family deal! Have tried to contact Taco Bell to clarify, but they have not answered me.
