DP, I’ve seen this in person. It’s fine for a 10yo. (I’d hesitate to give it to a 4yo, in fact – intricate, detailed pop ups might get trashed.)

Unless you qualify for a free trial of Amazon Prime, yes you have to pay for it. I think it’s $79 a year but then you get free two-day shipping on any amazon prime qualified items, not matter the cost. Otherwise you need to spend $25 to get free super saver shipping to avoid paying shipping costs. I don’t know if there are any free trials available right now, but you should check because Amazon Prime is fantastic!

These books have been so popular that you can easily find them at thriftstores or a library book sale for $1-$2 each for a hardback. I have three kids who love these so much that I’ve been replacing my trashed paperback copies with hardback at this price! Enjoy!
