I have been waiting for a good deal on a wand, after I wore out my old one (had it for years). I paid the extra buck, though and got it straight from Amazon, used my free Prime status with free 2nd day shipping… Smoothies on Tuesday! wooo!

I bought one of the these the last time the price dropped, but I think this one is $1 or $2 cheaper! I LOVE it and use it for everything…I LOVE using it for beans…so much easier and quicker than smashing them by hand! Also LOVE using it for mashed potatoes, cake batter, soup…so many possibilities and it’s so easy to use and clean up!

I love this hand blender! I used it to make baby food.

  5. Sandy

I own this and I, too, love it! I never thought about using it to mash potatoes. I always use a ricer. I’ll definitely have to try it.

I think this is another one of those jack the price up then drop it down to make it look like a great deal kind of things from Amazon again. If you do a search for it on Google Shopping, most places have it for around $30 so it’s not as great of a deal as you’d think. The reviews are also a bit mixed as well.

    Now up to $28.39

Works perfect for making homemade baby food.

I got this last time. It broke after one use, faulty piece in the shaft not a normal breakage. Contacted amazon and they are shipping out another one it will be here tomorrow. I have 30 days to return the other one or be charged. They give you a free return shipping label so it is easy and free. Wanted to let you know that I am so impressed with their customer service!!!!

Got my first one for Christmas. I LOVE it. It is really useful for all kinds of things. I don’t own a lot of kitchen gadgets, but this one doesn’t take up much space and is worth having.

Anyone used this to froth minlk like Collin? I own food processor, which is very strong. So I am not sure if I need this. But if I can froth milk well, I want to snag one!

I think having one of these is very convenient if you need to blend something because you don’t have to transfer into a different container (like your food processor or a blender). If I want to thicken a soup, I can just dip this in and blend. Not sure about the milk though šŸ™‚

I got this for a Christmas grab bag and I LOVE it. I make a lot of smoothies and I have a regular blender and a Magic Bullet and this does the best job mixing of them all.

I would hesitantly recommend this. My first one lasted about a year. I was making baby food with it though, and I don’t think it was able to handle that. I’m now using the newer model (the one pictured is the older model) and no problems so far. I don’t use it for baby food though. The newer one (silver) also comes with a whisk and and chopper attachment, both of which are nice.

The blender is $29.95 on the Cuisinart website. Boo to Amazon trying to make it look like a good deal.

  15. fairydust

amazon’s price is up over $29 now. ah well…

  16. Donna Mc.

Hmmm… I don’t like when companies juggle the pricing up and down as they are… as the price changed yet again. Very telling. Means I can probably get this cheaper somewhere else, and without all the price game playing.

  17. Emily

No longer ships for free . . . but it is down to 19.99. Hmmmmm.
