Sorry, but I don’t see how over 7 dollars for one pair of socks is a good deal!

    • Brittany

It may not be a “great deal”, but I think they’re adorable and a great alternative to sending flowers for certain occasions – they’re cheaper and last much longer!

    • Vickie Jones

I think it’s a cute novel idea, cheaper than flowers or a plant etc, If I needed a pair of socks no it’s not a great deal,

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You get the socks, a card and it is shipped to the recipient for this price. No other web site like it.

  2. Angela

    Love the socks.

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great gift…sent this to my mother-in-law for her birthday which is today.

  4. katie

I just let my kids pick out a pair each for their ‘Monga’, it is her birthday. A very cute idea – We got the monster socks and the pig socks. Appropriate if you knew my kids. I know my mom is going to love them! Thanks for the deal.

I was excited to see this deal on Lunchskins on luggage.com!

    https://www.luggage.com/Lunchskins-Kit-138-LKC1028.html

These are made by a local Kansas City gal who sponsored a charity event I hosted and gave one to each family in our swag bags. They are fabulous and have replaced plastic baggies at our house in our attempt to be more green. They wash up wonderfully, are BPA free, and have millions of uses besides the lunchbox. The upfront cost far outweighs the number of times you’ll use them vs. buying plastic baggies.

I love that they ask how you found out about us and Hip2save is an option!!! $7 for socks isn’t cheap, but my Mom LOVES patterned socks and how fun will this be when it comes in the mail for her birthday next week??

  7. mira

9 dollars FOR ONE SOCK?! are you serious? i could head to target and buy 9 for that price in their dollar sock section and their patterned at well.

    • fran

Mira, you actually get a pair! 😀

    • Heather

Yes, $9 for a pair of socks isn’t cheap. But these aren’t cheaply made socks. Plus, the cost includes, a personalized card, a packet of foot balm (yummy-smelling!), wrapping tissue, a mylar envelope (cute and showy) AND FREE shipping.

Now, can you send a fun, long-lasting pair of socks with everything else included for much less than this?

  8. Katie

What a cute idea! I sent my Mother In Law a pair of the pedicure toe socks, with a ‘I thought of you today and smiled’ card. She will get a kick out of them. Considering the cute packaging, free shipping & free card – $7.77 was a great deal, and like a PP mentioned, a great alternative to flowers.

  9. Jennifer

I just ordered a pair (the cupcakes ones) for a friend whose husband just left for Afghanistan. What a great pick me up for her!!! Thanks!

    • Jennifer

I wanted to add that while placing my order, I submitted the wrong ship to address. I emailed and received an immediate response and my order was fixed! (Um, twice – I just could not get her address right! LOL!)

      Super customer service!

  10. allison

I just ordered the cupcake ones for my nieces birthday. Since we live so far from her, it is a nice little package to receive in the mail to let her know we are thinking of her. Thanks for the great deal!

  11. Denise

I agree that $7.17 is pricey for a pair of socks. I probably wouldn’t pay that, and I definitely wouldn’t pay $11.95. It is a cute idea though.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This is a gift giving site…not something you stock your sock drawer with. It it a cute website that mails your choice of socks like a package to your friend or loved one. Sent the pedicure socks to my friend who was expecting a baby…it was a great pick me up durring her last trimester.

  12. Cindy

I just ordered the tennis shoe in a tube sock (sock) for my niece. She loves funky socks.
I thought it would be a cute gift for her from my kids, for easter.

  13. Rhonda

I think it is a great idea. I just ordered a pair for my niece for her birthday. She is 14 years old and does not live around me. I can just imagine the smile on her face when she opens up the package and finds the funky socks I just sent her.

  14. LisaMarie

I ordered a pair for my mom!! She has been going threw a tough patch and we are states away from each other So I was looking to send her something to put a smile on her face and looked at sending her some roses ($50.00) Than saw this post and thought this would defiantly do the trick And for only $7.17. So yes 7.17 Is pricey for a pair of socks (especially sense they have fun ones for a $1.00 at Target) BUT and with a Big BUT for a gift its a GREAT PRICE they get something that putts a smile on there face a a personalized card from YOU!

    • Rhonda

Well said!! What a great gift/treat idea!!! SUPER happy nothing day gifts! Sent some to neices!! YEA!

    • Audre

The socks on this web site are usually 80% cotton or better. Not your typical novelty socks. Also they even have environmentally friendly bamboo socks.

  15. darcilew

Okay, I agree that if I were to just go out and buy a pair of socks for myself, I wouldn’t spend $7-$8. However, I think these are a “treat”, and a fun splurge idea.
I have a friend who baby-sits for me when I have an appt, etc. She won’t let me pay her, but she is a sock fiend. She has told me that if she won the lottery, she wouldn’t buy a new house or car, she would buy a new pair of socks everyday. I got her the “Koi” pair, just because I thought they were fun. $7 is money well-spent to show a friend I appreciate her!

Great idea Colin! I appreciate you showing us the site and giving us the coupon code. 🙂

  16. Laura

What a great idea! I sent a pair to my Secret Pal at work to wish her happy spring! Nice change of pace for a gift idea.

  17. Vickie Jones

My mom had hip replacement last week, I had to come home yesterday after helping her out, I sent her a pair of the cute pedicure socks with a card about getting back on her feet, it will make her laugh, and all her friends will get a kick of the socks
And My SIL birthday is next week, she’s not picky but I always have trouble buying for her, I got a get well gift, and a birthday gift, in under 15 minutes, with no hassle for less than $15 and both of them will love it. I call that a major sucess

  18. Neva

Thank you for posting this deal! My mother and stepfather have been out of work and are really having a tough time. I just sent them some socks that I’m sure will bring smiles to their faces! Hopefully they “land on their feet soon” 🙂
