Happy Friday: Goodbye Cream Cheese Squares
Talk about a Happy Friday. My husband came home late last night after the kids and I were long asleep. I left the cream cheese squares out and left him a message to taste it. I woke up to this…
UNREAL! Good thing it was easy to make and the ingredients were on hand. I guess I will be making this one again!

My other half is like that with chocolate cake! 🙂
Good thing he does PT! LOL
That’s hilarious!!
Lol. Men! Where do they put it!!?!?
I know!!! I eat one portion and it goes straight to my butt. My husband eats 14 portions and licks the pan and he stays skinny! So not fair =)
That made me laugh so hard – I used to wake up to find similar sights after my son Matt (who’s now a Marine in Okinawa) and his buddies had been over. The trash can would be full of cookie, snack and candy wrappers too!! I miss those days………..
And he probably won’t gain an ounce!!!
Oh! LOL! Looks like he left one last bite on that spoon! He must have been stuffed.
MY co-worker made this for our Friday potluck munchies/snacks and it’s very good, awfully easy as I’ve made it too.
Same thing happens at my house. 🙂
Think of it this way Collin, better his hips than yours eh?!! I actually have mine baking in the oven right now (I got on hip 2 save in the mean time!) as i am writing this! Super easy to assemble, 20 min to go! I’ll let y’all know how it turns out!
This made me literally lol. It’s happened in this house, too!
That would be me. I LOOOOOOVE those things.
LOL!! I showed my hubs the post from yesterday & he wanted to know when I am making some. I have made it for several years but I haven’t made any since Christmas; I guess I will be baking tonight 🙂
I would of been more surprised if the dish had been washed 😉 lol. Gotta love men
TOTALLY something my hubby would do!! I’ve learned that I have to hide everything that needs saving!!
Let the bowl speak for itself, that was just his way of letting you know they were yummy, yummy, yummy.
I will def have to try this recipe out soon!! My husband does the same thing when it comes to sweet treats! 🙂
my hubby does that too! except he has the love handles to prove it LOL! 🙂
That’s not a happy picture for anyone except the person who polished off the cream cheese squares!
Yeah, no kidding. Especially for the wife, me who did not even get to taste them cold. I mean, I had my fair share when they came out of the oven, but I didn’t get to taste them cold. Guess I will have to make them again. LOL
lol, my dad eats like that. we always say he has a hollow leg!
Holy moly Collin!!! I think my jaw would’ve hit the floor if I had seen that in my kitchen this morning. Did he inhale it or did he actually taste it? LOL.
What’s the recipe?
That’s the ultmate compliment! You gotta just shake your head, smile and ….make some more. Too funny a picture.
OMG….so you don’t have to do dishes at your house…they just lick the platters clean….LOL
Oh that’s the best.
LOL.
Did he really eat the whole thing? o.m.g.!!! lol
Thank you so much for this recipe. SO YUMMY! I made it and took it to my hubby and his firefighter co-workers…. They LOVED IT!!!!!
Haha, that’s hysterical! Look’s like something my hubby would do.
Great post Collin! That cracked me up! 😉
Booyah!
thats soooo funny…im gonna have 2 try that recipe it looked good…well b4 the pan was empty lol
Oh my goodness this made me laugh so hard. The same thing happens at our house all the time. Complete with the dirty pan left out.
Can anyone tell me how cream cheese-y this tastes? It looks SO delicious but my husband doesn’t like cream cheese, (he does eat cheesecake though, in moderation) so I am wondering if I made it if I would have any help eating it (which I would prefer! 🙂 ). Thanks!
Will he eat cresaunt (?sp) rolls that are filled with cream cheese? If yes, then he will like these, that is what they remind me of. I added a layer of strawberry preserves to mine and it was a great combo.
Made a batch of these as a side to our breakfast this am. Used the reduced fat rolls, low fat cream cheese, spenda sugar, sugar free strawberry preserves then skipped the cinnamon on top (because I didn’t think cinnamon & strawberries sounded good together). They were delish, thanks for the receipe….not to just keep everyone from finishing the entire pan today….
