you had to have purchased the groupon back when it was available, it’s not a coupon, but a deal that you purchase
I think it was like $10 for a $20 GC for Barnes and Noble, some people may have had a groupon credit and gotten it for free or less, I paid $10 so technically although I only owed $13 after the groupon, the groupon did cost $10, so it was $23 out of pocket total (and I paid with paypal and they took the whole amount out, so right now I am out $43, but they are supposedly going to refund the $20 for the groupon once the items ships).
These will be perfect to divide up between Easter basket for 3 younger nieces and nephews! Thanks!

That’s too funny! That was my oldest daughter’s favorite book when she was 3 and she used to make her preschool teacher read it to her every day (at least once). So even then, my daughter could read the book to you because she had it memorized! I can’t recite the book anymore but I remember parts of it 🙂

Ughh, I ordered something from them about a week ago using the groupon, the free shipping and a 10% off code. They still haven’t shipped the item although it said it would be shipped the next day and shipping would take 2-6 days (it was for a present), I had to call them because I had purchased $33.xx worth of items and used my Paypal to pay for the difference, and they had charged the full $33.xx to the paypal despite the fact that the transaction on paypal was called $13.xx (the difference between the $20 groupon and the $33.xx total). After 2 different calls trying to straighten it out (the first customer service person I talked with was totally clueless) they said it happens some times with Paypal and I just have to wait until the item ships and it should refund me the $20…. So maybe it is better to use CC with them to pay for the difference after the groupon, I dunno.
Thanks so much! I’ve been meaning to make a trip to B&N to use up my Groupon. I got my son some of the new Rio books that he saw and wanted from Walmart the other day…plus some of the clearance books. 10 total books for a grand total of $1.93 after the 10% discount, plus my groupon and I signed up for the free trial membership and will cancel before it renews. He will be thrilled when the package shows up! 🙂
Thanks! I bought some books for the kids’ Easter baskets and DH’s basket also. They have buy 3, get one free on the adult bargain books which made for some pretty cheap books for DH and me. After the Groupon, it was $13 with free shipping, that’s a total I can handle for a ton of kids and adult books!
