I went to wags yesterday and saw $2 off coupons next to the precision foam no freebies though
I heard it was a “try me free” mail in rebate??? Ours also has $2 off coupons but no free or rebate forms….
This is off topic but Collin, what happened to the mobile version of your site? The hip2save app is not using the mobile version either. Is this because of the changes you’re working out? I love your site and check it throughout the day on my iPhone until I see a deal or coupon I need to print on my pc. I love the mobile version and hope it gets fixed soon! Thanks for all you do!
I still get the mobile version. I don’t like it at all so I always switch it, but the mobile version works for me. Hopefully you can get it working for you again.

i went last night and got the free box and the $2 rr back.. you have to ask for the coupon..and there is a $2 off coupon also..P.S. its not a mail in rebate ..
I gave up doing my own hair about 2 yrs ago…never came out good-especially in the back. I know it’s costs a whole heck-of-alot more to go to the salon, but they know what they’re doing and I always walk out a there with great color/cut. 🙂
I have an off the wall comment to about walgreens! Went in yesterday to get Similac baby formula and I got a 10.00 RR if you buy 2 Good Start Formulas! This is awesome considering one of mine is on similac and the other on goodstart! Goodstart mails high dollar coupons for foumula so I shall return today to buy goodstart with great coupons!!

Speaking of Similac, I saw a stack of $1 off manufacturer coupons at WAGS by the section.
I went yesterday and the beauty counter lady told me she had free coupons. She gave me two and let me do two transactions. I dyed my hair last night. Loved the color. Going back today and am going to ask her for two more.
I am cleaning out my coupons so I can bring her extras. She likes to coupon too and if I am sweet to her maybe she will give me two more free coupons. 🙂 The foam color thing is a little weird but it came out great!
I just got back from wags and the cashier told me the coupon is not available until next Saturday. Is she correct?

I am a Senior Beauty Advisor at Walgreens and have not seen the free coupons 🙁 I wonder if certain stores got them??
Can someone tell me when I check out at the beauty counter what items give the beauty advisor extra in her check? I did not know until recently that certain items you buy help his/her paycheck and would love to purchase these items. If I ask the beauty advisor does anyone know if they can tell me what it is that week/month?? THANKS!!!
I think it is the little display case right by the register. It usually has lip balm or cookies, or something like that.
Walgreens brand products from cosmetic department pays her a PM, Revlon, Loreal, Almay and a few more. Sometimes they do push the iteam on their counter and get a PM… Plus note… that is why when you check out at any register they try to sell you something else… thats promo money for them and some areas you have to sell or you get in trouble. If you buy on sale items they do not get the PM…. kind of stupid but the computer doesn;t give them credit.

Hi I have a question, do any of your wags take expired rr’s?
Two Wags near me have taken expired RRs, but they were only expired one day…and they told me it is not their policy to take them when they are expired (guess they were just in a good mood that day)….I would talk to the store manager & ask real nice!

I wish I had know this last night. I went and bought the schick razor, paid at the beauty counter and asked for free samples – she gave me 3 different skin care samples but didn’t mention a coupon. They also had a thing advertised at the beauty counter. If you write down your email address and put it into the box they had there, at the end of the night they take all the email addresses and send them a coupon for a free 8×10 print.
This time when I went to Walgreen’s I asked the woman at the beauty counter (she was very rude, not helpful at all) if she had any John Freida coupons, she gave me a $2 coupon. Also, this is off topic but the Air Wick i-motion scented oil starter kit is ringing up $2.50 each, I was able to use a $4 insert coupon for each only paying $1 for both.
I just realized last year that for some reason the Walgreens cashiers keep most coupons behind the counter out of site from the customers. I had one offer me a coupon only after I told her I wasn’t going to purchase the item because I couldn’t find my coupon. She then hands me a coupon, she had tons of coupons and for many different brands. I asked oh do you keep the coupons back there. Her response was ‘we keep them and can give them to whoever we want’.OK.
So then I started paying attention at other Walgreens stores and have seen coupons off to the side out of reach of customers. Been offered coupons from stacks when my coupon didn’t scan. Obviously, I have seen coupons out and available to customers but not the amount that there should be for a store that has a large cosmetics section.
You’d think that they’d want them out and available to increase their sales.
If I were ever to go into Wags to purchase cosmetics without a coupon (never would happen -unless it was free after RR) I would ask a cosmetics cashier if she has coupons available for that product/brand.
I went into my local Walgreens today and asked at the cosmetic counter and sure enough….she had them! She said they just had a class on the product, so she was quite knowledgeable about it. Thanks for the info! I would have never known otherwise 🙂
Well, I know one thing is for sure.. If my old store (that I used to work at) got these coupons in, I know exactly where the coupons went. And it certainly wasn’t to the customers… >_>
My Walgreens has a sign posted at the cosmetic counter saying something like “please ask about our coupons and free samples”
My cosmetic girl told me that the promotional items they get commission for change on April 1st. She shoed me the items and the booklet is 1″ thick on the promo items.
actually this deal is for our saturdate promotion on john fredia products so come in on saturday and stop buy cos counter and maybe buy some other john fredia to help us out

I saw this promotion at walgreens yesterday and it was buy something and get John f free. One was dove products and other I don’t remember. I’m gonna go see tmw what exactly with my beauty coupons. 🙂
I went into Walgreens and one of the mgrs gave me this coupon for John Frieda foam hair colour that expires 4/30/11 and it was FREE so I purchased it and pd .87 cents and to my surprise a $2.00 RR printed! Woo Hoo!!! I was doing a good deed and buying it for my niece and got rewarded for doing it! 🙂
