I am a Walgreens employee so I find this site to be quite helpful…even for me! I get confused myself with all of the coupons, rr, etc.
Anyway, to answer your question…RR items are listed in the weekly ad paper which can be found in the front of your Walgreens store, the Sunday paper, or online. The item will say Register Reward and also don’t confuse a RR with an “in-store” coupon. It does confuse some folks. An in-store coupon is found in the monthly coupon books we have which you can also get at your local Walgreens. They are typically right as you walk in located across from main register in a rack; both the weekly paper ads and monthly book ads. I hope this was helpful to you:)
The grocery store I go to recently had coupons for $1 off Coffee Mate. So I was able to get 2 for only $0.49!!!!

Hi, I tried it and bought 6 diapers. They had a heck of a time trying to figure out how the 20 % off worked. The coupon wouldn’t scan. They finally acted like there was no coupon to scan and just hit the employee discount. I used the infant care booklet coupon which should have taken 12 off but only ended up taking 9.60 off the diapers. I called customer service to see why. They are getting back with me. However, my rewards did print!
that’s because it takes off 20% off the wgs coupon if you recieved 20% off the items (diapers in this case) . $9.60 is 80% of $12 (six $2 coupons). Still a great deal though!
In the fine print, it says diapers not eligible! Darn!

I always have trouble using 2 coupons on the b1g1 sales
the coupons will beep and even when I speak to the asst manager she said that it says one coupon per purchase on the coupon i was using so she said its not valid
I even showed them the coupon policy and they didn’t even look at it
They said I can only use one coupon on my entire purchase for that item and was getting very rude and pissy :/
I agree, the multiple WAGS around me are not so friendly. I only went to buy Toilet paper (Charmin was $2.99 with wags in ad coupon and also had $1 off from PG), toothpaste, and shave gel for myself, and deoderant and body wash for my husband.
I had a Gillette $2 off and also a buy one Gillette deoderant get one body wash free coupon. The cashier scrutinzed all my coupons, and then somewhere in all that mess, I lost my $1.50 off Colgate coupon (which I had in my hands at the register!!). I had to put back my toothpaste (was trying to get RR).
There was a sale for Buy one Gillette get one half off, so, I paid full price $4.99 for deoderant, and she only took off $2.49 for the body wash (which was the half off), and I thought she didn’t even scan the $2 off but I wasn’t sure. I was so flustered, that when I went to the car to add everything up, she in fact did not scan the $2 off. I didn’t want to go back or to call corporate. I have called corporate before, and the store manager calls back. They never let me use another manufacturer coupon in addition to the Store coupon booklet because they always say the store booklet is manufacturer. So, I think I’d rather avoid Wags.
On another note, I also wanted to buy one Skintimate shave gel with my 55 cent coupon, but refused to even scan it, saying it would not work on the new skintimate shave creams that were also on sale for $2. she said the coupon only showed the picture of the gel. I was hoping to get a RR off that too!! All of this discourages me from going back. I never buy anything for the RR, but the day I needed toothpaste and shave gel, of course it didn’t happen.
I’m beginning to learn that sometimes it isn’t the store but the manager. The manager and cashiers who work Sunday Mornings at one Walgreens are a pain. But the manager and cashiers who work Wednesdays after 9pm are great. I think it’s best to find a store and clerk that are coupon friendly and always shop for deals are that time.

YES, diapers worked for me. Bought 6 (u need to hit $25 after 20% discount) and rebate printed. They just push their employee discount button, so this won’t affect your coupon to item ratio 🙂 Have a great wags day!

I hear ya, the store down the road from my work the lady there isn’t nice, she just scans your stuff and stands there waiting for you to pay, never says anything. If you don’t like your job then quit, there are plenty of people out there looking for a job and would appreciate it.
Here to. We have 3 walgreens and 2 CVS. Wags cashiers are always SOOOO rude and CVS cashiers are so freindly. It’s like night and day!
I actually got the Luster toothpaste yesterday. (used the $1.50 MQ and got back $4 RR)
However, I really did not like the toothpaste. I’m usually very willing to try new toothpastes,
but Luster just tastes really bad to me. 🙁 Oh welll…. it was only 50 cents after coupons and
RRs…. 🙂 Also, I’ve never seen a toothpastes that’s so hard to squeeze out. 🙂

Interesting you say that! I like the toothpaste, but I know when I first bought it when it was free last year at Wags it made this loud popping sound and probably 10-15% of the tube drained out because of the pressure, which was weird…but you’re right, once you open it you’ve gotta work a little to get it out once it’s about halfway empty!
That stuff made a mess all over my sink when I opened it. I was about to call the company about the issue until I read the package and it actually states that it might happen. Very strange and wasteful.
It’s just a chemical reaction with the peroxide in it. The Rembrandt stuff did a similar thing to me – the tubes puffed way up, then when you opened them the first time, they were half empty. I think they have to add extra room to hold the gas that builds up.

It says in small print on the coupon, Offer not valid on paharmacy, photo, electronics, contact lenses, diapers, baby formula, cigarettes, dairy products, liquor, liquor department items, phone cards, newspapers, magazines, stamps and gift cards.

I bought a total of 7 boxes of Taster’s Choice yesterday at 2 different stores. The 2 boxes dated Oct 2011 had $1/1 coupons in them with no size restrictions! 🙂

You have to present the % coupon First, b/c its treated as an employee discount.

Quick question. I have a coupon (2/27) for buy 1 gillete deoderant get 1 gillete body wash free. Another for $2/1 gillete pro series skin care, another for $1/1 gillete shave gel, and another for $2 off gillete body wash. At walgreens many gillete products are buy 1 get 1 50 % off. My question is if I use the buy 1 deo get 1 body wash will the body wash ring 50% off (even though I am getting it free)?
I used a buy one deod get one wash free coupon.
Here is what happened. I paid $4.99 for the deod, then the wash rang up $2.49, and they just took $2.49 off.
I gave her a $2 off Gillette coupon, but she didn’t scan it but took it anyways.
I was hoping I’d get some overage from the $2 coupon, but she just put the coupon to the side, and then put it away with the rest of my other coupons w/o scanning it. I’m not sure if the coupon would work.

It is under household items. It has a spray bottle picture, but works on the air fresheners. I made about 4 cents at Walmart using the coupon.

I use the Taster’s Choice all the time, so I went to a couple more stores near me today. At one, the lady was in too much of a hurry and scanned the items before my 15% off coupon, so she had to void the sale….but she gave me the $4 RR and the $1.50/3 coupon!!! Then she did the same thing again!! She insisted that I take them and so I did. 🙂 Heaven knows enough have expired on me in the past. The deal was already a moneymaker, so great day!
Just got back from WAGS & had no problem using the coupon twice. As I was ringing up my first transaction of items I asked the cosmetics lady if she’d seen any of the infant care booklets & she gave me one from behind the counter! Wahoo! So, I asked if I could keep the coupon to go back for diapers & she said sure. She was super nice & helpful. I went back, got 6 packs of Wdiapers & checked out again without a problem. Got 20% off the diapers & my $10 MIR. Great trip!
Oh, and the friends/family Q didn’t scan, but she just used the employee discount button.

The Tasters Choice says it is in RP2/13. I have looked in every thing Houston put out 2/13. I find NO coupon for Nescafe or Tasters choice. Does anyone have any other suggestions where I can find coupons for this deal??? Thanks

I used the taster’s choice catalina for $1.50/3 and bought another 4 boxes of the coffee, but when I got my receipt, I only got another $1.50/3 catalina, no $4 RR. Has anyone tried doing this yet? My cashier just said he didn’t know what was going on. Do you not get RRs if you use their coupon?
Yes, you should get the RR. I did two transactions and used the $1.50 catalina coupon on the second order and still got the $4RR on the tasters choice. I would say contact the catalina company and ask them to send you the missing RR.

Did you use the $4 RR received from the first transaction as payment in the second? If so that would be one reason it would not print. If the $1.50/3 catalina printed the second time that means the machine was working, so not sure why else it wouldn’t print.
I had the same problem. They even called the manger who tried to ring it up again and nothing but a coupon for my next purchase printed out =( They said if I could show them where the deal said it would give RR they could help me but it’s not listed anywhere but this website.
My Wags today said my 15% off coupon had to be scanned first before my items to get the deal. They would’nt let me use it.
Went to Walgreens today with my 15-20% coupon. Planned on getting the Dove deal where you buy 4/$15 and then get $5 RR. Because I had the 15% off coupon, it made it only $3.19/each thus only spending $12.76 instead of $15 and did not receive my $5 RR.:( Bummer!!

My walgreens had the tooth paste for 7.49. Also the 15% is not good on daily products. SOrry. It says it on the coupon’s second page.

You have to get the 20 or 22 count always odor control. It’s for the new Always pads only. The same ones that gave you a $2 rr on one package last week.
Don’t know if this has been said or not…make sure you go to the cosmetics or photo counter. I gave the coupon at the beginning of the transaction, but didn’t read the fine print. My cashier said she couldn’t take it because it was at the main register. Bummer…I didn’t protest because I bought quite a bit and was holding the line up with my dozen coupons.

Ok just realized when I got home ( cause I was with the kids) I did the Luster deal bought two? But only got 1 RR rewards? Wasn’t I supposed to get two since I bought two? If not I am going to return the other toothpaste and just have the one. Especially I am hearing bad reviews:(

If you read the RR it says, if you return the item you have to give the RR back. When you go back to the store to return it, it will depend on the manager. Some will ask for the RR back.

Worst shopping trip of my life! Probably ended my WAGS shopping after I get rid of RR in hand. Manager told me that I had to use RR before I use Man. coupons and that I couldn’t use RR to pay for the W Brand diaper deal and it still print the $10 Rebate Form! She said that I had to actually pay $25 in CASH instead of RR or coupons of any sort. There are too many rules apparently for me at Walgreens! Love me some CVS and Rite Aid!
when it comes to the way rewards, (RR, UPs, ECBs) are handled both CVS and Riteaid are better then Walgreens. I always say that a RR is worth -.30 of it’s printed value because you always need a .30 filler to use it.
However, all of these stores can have their problems. I feel like writing Riteaid after today. I went to use my last two buy one old spice DO get a body wash free. The clerk wouldn’t let me use the coupon because the deo was on sale 2 for 5 but the body wash was full price. She also wouldn’t let me use RA video coupons with manufacture coupons.

I don’t know what that manager is talking about, but you can use any combination of coupons that work for the transaction as long as the number of manf. does not exceed the number of items. I would call the corperate if I was you.
The luster white toothpaste wasnt on sale at my wags, and I dont see it in the paper anywhere. Id like to try it, anyone know where this deal is showing in the paper?
I work there and I have not gotten a chance to look in the ad for it yet. Each store should have gotten a big displayer of them. We put them on the shelf and threw out the displayer and there is no ad tag for them. I think it might be an all month mega saver though.
Has anyone done the Colgate Wisps yet? They are on Mega Saver at Walgreens. Buy 1 at $2.99, get one free. If you use two $1 coupons(I had to Google to find it again), it is like paying $.50 each. I was pretty excited when I found this last night. I have wanted to try them, but they are so expensive!
Megasavers usually begin on a sunday at the end of the month. If you want to get dibbs on an item on sale the next week (4/10/11- 4/16/11) , ad breaks ( scans) at 6pm on 4/9/11. I am as well a walgreens employee for 4 years and my husband is a Store Manager.
