I am always hesitant to print coupons at home due to the cost of printer ink. Sometimes there are really good coupons but they often expire before a great deal comes along. Seems like a huge waste then. Thoughts…..?

    • Julie

Walgreens does ink refills, and if it fails their test print page, it’s free, and can still be usable (for coupons). Last year on Earth Day, they did refills for $1 a cartridge, limit 2 (per store)!
I’m looking forward to Earth Day again, but am not sure how I’ll actually do it.

For Brick’s coupons, look at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Click on the help button and if it allows you to fill in demographic info, the coupon will be mailed to you. I request 2 each time for that is what I understand is the limit per address. That way, you will have 2 coupons without the cost of printing.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Can you print to a file? That way you could have them in your computer but only print if you ned them.

      • Leah

They’ve never allowed me to print to file.
You could print all your coupons, but leave your printer unplugged, then pause them all and only unpause them and plug in your printer as needed. However, you’d have to remember which coupon is which.
I buy a refill kit on Amazon for around $10 and it refills my ink around 10-15x. I usually pay for all/part of it with Swagbucks, too, making it even cheaper. I was hesitant to do it, but it’s really, really easy & I’m so glad I did.

        • anissa

how do you do this with swagbucks please let me know. i am constantly on look out for good ink deals. i print alot of coupons. thank-you

    • jmartcougar

I buy my ink from meritline (dot) com I find the prices so much lower I have a canon and ink usually runs 50 bucks but I get it for around 13. Usually its only the black ink that runs out and I end up paying even lower around 5 bucks!

    • Melissa

I print in b/w and try to just stick to printing coupons I think I will use. Sometimes I do waste, but you really never know when a deal will come along and the coupon that was available, isn’t anymore.

    • Shannon

I’m actually trying to invest in a laser printer off of Craigslist… they seem to be around $90. I use them at work and the ink lasts FOREVER!

  2. Chris

Print what you could use if you stumbled across a great deal. You’ll get the hang of what you will actually use and you’ll adjust your decision “to print or not to print” accordingly. Trial and error. Great deals on paper & ink are out there.

  3. Heather

Speaking of that, I just realized tonight that my $5 off Tangled Blu-Ray/DVD expired yesterday. Does anyone know of any deals to make that set cheaper?? Thanks!

    • Sandra Lee

Did you check out the Disney website? They had a coupon there the other day.

  4. Mitch

The Ritz Crackerfuls coupon is awesome, combined with a sale and a store that doubles, I bet I can pick those up for $.50 at some point. Yay!
    thanks

Use that Blue Bunny coupon to try one of their new “cake flavor” ice creams! We bought the “I do, I do. Wedding Cake” flavor and it is really good. I think it tastes as good as some of the ice cream at those expensive ice cream shops. And, it’s a whole LOT cheaper! Other flavors include Red velvet cake, triple chocolate, and strawberry shortcake. The flavors were created with the help of Chef Duff, the cake guy. Sorry, I can’t remember his last name.

  6. Sarah

Yay for the Polaner’s All Fruit, haven’t tried the “with fiber” but that brand is all we use. Hard to find sales/coupons on it. Anyone know who carries this, how much it is?

    • Melissa

The cheapest place I can find it is Walmart, it was $1.99 for the longest time (whenever there was a $1/1 insert q, I would buy 4-5 jars), but its over $2.00 now, $2.19 or $2.29 I think was the price the last time I walked down the pb/j aisle. But you are right, coupons are far & few for them, so when I see there is an IP, I print as dh prefers Polaner.

      • Sarah

Wow, I found the 10 oz jars at Target for $1.94!!! They were out of strawberry, but I’ll print more coupons and go back until they are in stock.

    • Ashley

My walmart has it for $2-2.50.

  7. Shannon

I tried the Jello Temptations and was very disappointed! I can’t remember the exact flavor, but it was double chocolate. It was just ordinary chocolate pudding with a mouse-type topping. It was on sale for $2.49 at Kroger had a $1 off coupon, making it only $1.49. However, there are only 3 cups, which was disappointing – $0.50 each. Totally not worth it in my book. Maybe I should have tried a more unique flavor… any one have other opinions?

    • Bee

I tried them at Kroger also. I tried 2 flavors, the strawberry cheesecake and the apple custard. I thought the strawberry was pretty good and the lady next to me was raving about the apple.

I liken it to how I thought the Pillsbury sweet moments would taste. I couldn’t wait to buy some (actually got them for free) and if I had had to pay for them, I wouldn’t have been happy. For some reason, I just don’t consider this product to be a value either. Why not just eat a Hunt’s pudding? Or just mix up a box of Jell-o Oreo flavor instant pudding?

    • anissa

i received free coupon in mail today for the temptations .i am not going to get chocolate now.i will try another variety and let you know.

  8. Amy

…is it just me…I can’t find the coupon for Peeps on their website?

  9. Candice

I can’t find the Claussen pickles coupon… Do I need to put in a specific zip code?

    • Jill

I’m looking for that one, too. Anyone know if there’s a specific zip for this coupon?
