off topic but i just nominated you for the extreme couponing show on TLC. If anyone else wants to email tlc here is their email address. extremecouponingcasting@gmail.com

    • Jennifer S

But Collin is NOT extreme! Those people on that show make us look bad.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Agree with Jennifer. Collin is so NOT extreme. What if Collin has no desire to appear on that show? Yikes…

    • Amy

Yikes is right. I would be insulted to be grouped in with the people on that show. That’s not couponing, it’s obsessive hording IMO… ๐Ÿ™

      • Katie Wagner

I think it would be great to have Collin on the show. She would give a real life perspective to being coupon savvy!

        • Melissa

yeah, but thats not what the show is looking for!!

          • Jennifer S

Exactly they want extreme freaks who hoard stuff. I have a nice stock pile but we are a family of 6 and go thru most everything pretty quick so I have to stock pile it. But I would never make my garage a stock pile room!

What zip did you use for this? Can’t find it. Thank you!

    • ann13861

I used 44145 and found them on page 4 yesterday

      • Angel In Perrysburg

        Thank you!

    • Melissa

90210, and it was past page 10 for me.

  3. The Thrifty Military Wife

    These are 99ยข @ Kroger!

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Target had these today on clearance for 89 cents. Watch yourself though, these are meal replacement bars that come in at 300 calories per bar!

    • Jennifer S

Some are only 230 calories but I have seen the 300 calories its like a protein plus bar.

    • tina

my target had them for .94 cents in the clearance aisle.

  5. Abby

I love these. The peanut butter chocolate chip and a glass of skim milk? Mmmm..breakfast ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Being these are “meal replacement bars” do they keep you full for a few hours would you say? Compared to other bars?

      • Abby

I suppose it depends on what your normal calorie intake for breakfast is. These bars are about 240 calories and 10g protein…pair it with milk and you’ve got roughly 340 calories goin for you for breakfast. When my husband and I did GH’s Supermarket Diet, these were part of the breakfast section. I think they’re yummy and satisfying! ๐Ÿ™‚

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Cool thanx for the info Abby

I like to eat these as my afternoon snack before a run – they digest easily and give me the carbs I need.
