If you have missed out on the free glasses offers from Coastal Contacts over the last few months, here is yet another chance to snag a free pair!

Here’s what you need to do to increase your chances of snagging free glasses…

* Head over to the Coastal Contacts Facebook page now, “like” them and click on the “Free Glasses” tab (remember, this code will not be valid until Noon EST today, April 7th)

* Then head over to CoastalContacts.com and pick out your favorite frames (try to find between 3-5 frames that you would be happy with since many styles are sure to sell out quickly).

Giveaway Details/Rules

* Only the first 10,000 people will be able to use the coupon code to snag a FREE pair of glasses including the frame and standard 1.5 index lenses (note: you will need to pay shipping/handling charges which will usually range between $10-$15). Keep in mind that if you have received a free pair of glasses from Coastal Contacts before, then you are not eligible for this promotion; limit one free pair per household.

* This promotion is only valid for web orders. If you need help with your web order, call the optical staff at 1-866-333-6888.

* Certain frames are NOT eligible for the promotion. If you see a “Coupons not applicable” message on a pair of frames, then it is excluded from the promotion.

* You will need a copy of your current eyeglasses prescription (it’s different from your contact lens prescription) and your PD measurement. Sometimes your PD will be on your prescription, but if not, watch this instructional video on how to measure it.

* After you have chosen your frames and selected your shipping method, you’ll go to a “Order Review & Payment” page, where you can enter and apply your coupon code. After applying your code, you will see your order total before you choose to check out (remember that you will have to pay shipping/handling charges of $10-$15)

* If you would prefer to order a pair of prescription sunglasses, you can use the coupon code and then you can add a tint to your lenses and simply pay for the cost of the tinting, which is about $30.

* Your free pair of glasses will include the standard 1.5 index lenses, which accommodates up to a -8.00. However, if your prescription is over a + or -2.00, you may want to upgrade to a thinner, lighter lens. If you choose to upgrade your lenses, or have selected progressives, Transitions or a tint, you will see the cost of the upgrade in your order total.

* If you’re not happy with your glasses for any reason, Coastal Contacts will allow one exchange for another free pair at an equal or lesser value. They’ll even pay for the return shipping and send you a return label. Just give them a call at 1-866-333-6888 to make arrangements. Remember to keep your box and all the accessories that came with your order.

When I tried to get this deal last time, they had lots of selection to choose from 🙂
A moment before I click “order” to get my free pair (you pay S+H), my husband said “you get a free pair of glasses or contact lenses every year because our insurance company covers the cost. Oh! That is cheaper than paying S+H, so I decided not to get them lol
I hope many H2S readers find their free pair of glasses!

My husbands insurance is the same way but he chooses the contacts. We decided to get the glasses because this way he will have an updated pair in case he can’t ware his contacts for some reason… like an eye infection or something. It was a good deal for us for a back up pair.

My husband chose contacts too 🙂 However, he has a pair of glasses already, so I guess he was trying to say “I don’t need another pair” in nicer way lol

I added a pair of glasses for my daughter to my cart yesterday just to check it all out. Today I logged in at exactly 10 AM and the glasses were still in my cart so it went through great! Already done and it’s only 5 minutes after! YEAH!

Got my free glasses a couple of weeks back. Arrived quickly and only paid about $15 for shipping and handling. This is a legit deal and a great one!!

  6. paulemay

Just ordered a pair for my hubby, hope he likes them 😉 The shipping and handling came to $16.07

Great timing. My son just busted the frames I bought w/ my insurance a couple months ago. They even had the same brand available, and the frames are really close to my broken pair. I added anti-reflection coating for $9.95, so with S&H the total was $28. Not bad!

You lucky young whippersnappers! Wait till you’re old! Thanks Collin. I got my pair of BIFOCAL glasses for $122 shipped. Dang old age. But I needed a new pair to wear when I’m not wearing my contacts. The last time I got new glasses/lenses was 11 years ago. Guess it was about time!

Don’t forget if you miss this deal or need glasses with a strong script try zenni optical – four of the five of us wear zenni glasses, and mine were the most expensive ($53 shipped) and I LOVE THEM! My two toddlers wear zenni glasses ($25) and they have yet to even break. They bend them like mad and we just bend them back. I have not bothered with this “free” deal because I need the higher index lenses, if I don’t get them my eyes look teeny and you can see everything behind me through my glasses HA!

my daughter just received her free pair from last time, she loves them so much!!!! they are purple, high quality and fit her perfectly. thanks coastal contacts, i paid 28 dollars for the coatings and the shipping which was much better than the money i just paid out of pocket at eye dr

  11. Brenda

Thanks! I have needed new glasses for years! I hope they are cute!!!! $18 is very reasonable for glasses.

  12. Laura Larsen

I got mine yesterday! They came FAST and are purple GUESS frames (not cheap!) I can’t believe I got these for free! Awesome and legitimate deal!

  13. Blair

I got mine, I just hope I did the PD thing right. 🙂

    cAN YOU GET SUNGLASSES

  15. Marja

Awesome! I just got some really cute looking $88 (retail price $239) frames for FREE! Legit! I paid $56 after getting a lens-upgrade, anti-scratch coating, and S&H. Very pleased 🙂 I hope they’re as cute on me as on the site- but if they don’t work it looks like they have a really good return policy.

  16. Cortney

I just bought some and put tinted lenses to make them into sunglasses! I would never be able to afford it if I did not have this!

  17. mary l bankhead

@anonymous — yes, you can get sunglasses. you just have to add a tint to them. it adds an additional $30 though.

  18. bentleymommy

I just got my pair today I love them!!! Well worth the price 😉

Great quality! i have gotten glasses through zenni optical and the quality is not as great as these. However if you break glasses a lot like DH i would reccomend them too.

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Mine were $117, apparently bifocals are not free lenses, and you can’t use the free shipping code with the free glasses code at the same time, so the shipping and insurance were about $22 of this, even with the cheapest shipping. Still, not bad, my last glasses were $1,100 and with the insurance, still over $500 as my part due to my prescription.

  20. Koleen

I was excited when the FedEx guy delivered my free pair from last time! They fit great and I can see perfectly with them. They are super cute too!

  21. Annette

I recently received mine, too. I really love them. I had no idea that they’d be so nice and expensive-looking, so I didn’t pay extra to get the transitions lenses. I wish I would have- these would be perfect. Either way, they’re pretty great. They are light-weight yet they feel sturdy, and they are very stylish looking. They came with a nice hard case, a lens cloth, and a perfect little screwdriver tool on a keychain.

Thank you, Collin- I love them!
