They are okay. My husband eats them for lunch sometimes. Also they are good for care packages since they don’t need to be refrigerated.

  2. Donna Mc.

They are nothing to rave about, BUT, when in a pintch, they are not that bad. I keep them in my desk at work when I forget to bring a lunch. Just heat them in the microwave. For what they are, they taste decent.

exactly – perfect desk drawer item for an in-a-pinch quicky lunch!

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I think they are gross, not buying them for $.74, maybe not even for free.

    • mouni

I agree. even when I could get them for free at Rite Aid a few months ago I didn’t get them, The mystery meat was like plastic and tthe mashed potatoes were gross as well.

    • Amy

I think that they are gross too….I got these for free at Rite Aid around Christmas time with a Rite Aid coupon and they were so gross, even my kids wouldn’t eat them.

    • Erin

These are foul. They remind me of dog food.

  4. Rachelle

I had a $1/2 coupon in the SS from 5/8 that I could use instead of the .75 to make this sweeter!

    • Kele

The $1/2 is not as good as two .75/1…

      • Rachelle

this is true whoops I just realized that

These are amazing! I am obsessed with the chicken and mashed potatoes and the chicken alfredo. I just bought coupons off ebay for these. I have no rite aid in Dallas. But had to say these are amazing and very filling for 300-400 calories for the meal!

    • Gil

I enjoy these several times a week when my wife gets coupons for them. LOL

This Q did not pop up using this zip code.
Does anyone have another good one to try?

    • Becky

      Try 90210

  7. Becky

I’ve had these before. Some of them are good but they are very high in sodium. Becky

  8. alusk99

I gave all the ones I bought away to coworkers because I thought they were awful! Would only get them if free- to give away to friends.

  9. mel

my honey likes to take them for work as a side dish to his daily sammy.

  10. Trish

I’ve had the spaghetti and meatballs. The taste is very much like Chef-Boyardee, which I think is pretty gross. The portion is very small – only 7 oz. so it is okay for lunch for one person – which has been my 12 yr. old son. I’m not going to get them again unless they are 25 cents or free, and only because my 12 yr. old thinks they are good – and they are convenient when there’s not time for anything else!

My husband and I love the chicken Alfredo variety. Most of the other kinds are pretty gross. The chicken and mashed potatoes would be good minus the potatoes and the same with the roast beef and potatoes, just minus the potatoes. But for the price of .74 cent each I believe it is worth it.

  12. Ashley

hmmm the chicken and dumplings are pretty good, but for .74 they are even better 🙂 (but i love chicken and dumplings period so….lol)

  13. Melissa

They are certainly not a gourmet food, but my husband likes them. He likes to take them to work for lunch. They are quick & easy and need no refrigeration.

  14. Eve

Hi! How do you get the coupon all by itself to showcase like that? I have been wanting to do that for my blog, but can’t figure out how. Thanks for the deal. You are a great blogger.

  15. Breanna

We love them. My husband is also a Marine, and they are perfect for him. He usually doesn’t get very long for lunch so they are super easier to eat quick and don’t really have to be warmed up!

As a college student, cheap food I can keep in the car is great. That’s compleats. Avoid the Sesame Chicken flavor, though, bleh. The ones with mashed potatoes and the dinty moore stews are also good. (Same company and brand, just slightly different). Ones with potatoes and carrots are good. Just always heat them up in the microwave. Don’t even bother with the stovetop, it takes forever.

    🙂

This past week’s SS had $1 off the kids ones. I don’t know if Rite Aid has that variety for that price, that would be a nice deal when you use it with the $1/2. I don’t have a Rite Aid, only Walmart. Last night when I was there, they were on rollback for $1.72. I had 3 coupons and let my daughter pick which 3 she would like. We haven’t tried them, but they will make a great quickie meal.

  18. Jamie

The ones I’ve tried have been WAY to salty and the taste was not great and the portion sizes are really small. The kids ones we got to try and my daughter tasted a couple and hated them – she refused to even try the rest.

  19. Bruce

The chicken and pastat ones are the best. The portion size is supposed to be small, under 100 calories, for thosse trying to cut down. Also, the coupon from RiteAid says, “cannot be combined with any other offer,” meaning cannot be stacked.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

way too much sodium!!!!! I will pass.
