There will be two coupon inserts available in the 5/22 Sunday newspaper. You’ll receive one SmartSource coupon insert, one Red Plum/Unilever coupon insert. Also, make sure to check your Parade Magazine or USA Today (depending on where you live) for coupons as well. Keep in mind that NOT all areas will get the same coupons or coupon values.

Vinita, sorry but you have me confused with “A” who is the one who made the shoe rack. I don’t think Collin would reveal any of her reader”s email address to another reader, but you could go back to that post to ask “A” for her email address. I’m sure Collin wouldn’t have a problem with that because it will be coming from “A”.
And, as easygoing as Collin is, I doubt that she would have a problem with her readers having some fun…it sure beats arguing, right? 🙂

reading and enjoying the chuckles. Just thought I’d let you know, I have posted my email address many times for another reader and I have never recieved an influx or hate mail should I say. I think the people on here are really great and have a lot of respect. I have even seen people ask the post originator if they can send them an email too. Totally off subject ?, but Im moving next week and am wondering if any samples/freebies I have ordered in the past will be forwarded to my new address or sent to the old address. The old address is my in-laws house (we had to live with them for 2 months until escrow closed on our house : / ) so its no big deal if some of the stuff goes there, I’ll just get it from them when I see them. But could any samples/freebies sent to me be returned to the sender? I hope not, there are a couple samples I REALLY have been wanting to try. Thank you so much!
I don’t think anything would be sent back to the sender, if you recently filled out the sample form it will MOST likely be forwarded to your new address, while the other one’s will probably still be sent to your old address.

I’m a mail lady. If the sample is not 1st class or if it does not say return service request, it will not be forwarded. They will only deliver it if it happens to say or current resident. You can always leave your mail carrier a note or speak with them face to face and let them know what you wrote up there. They may be willing to deliver them to your inlaws.
I think it also depends on where you live…we live in a town fewer than 300 people and when we moved all of our mail got forwarded. It still gets forwarded over 2 years later when we get a stray letter sent to the wrong address since our postal workers know everyone in town and their address.
Oh and I forgot. Margie, that’s so awesome! My mom grew up in a town like that and she LOVED it. I unfortunately live in SoCal which is anything but small. I grew up in Northern Ca and while I didn’t live in a town as small as you and my mom, it was still completely different than where I live now….it was homey. I miss it!

I had no idea mail carriers were also responsible for forwarding every individual piece of mail for the people on their routes, I just assumed it was taken care of somewhere else (in some top secret mail location ; ] ) and then what was leftover was handed out to deliver. Okay so I’m a newbie at this whole couponing thing and I just have to ask. The coupons that are given on the Sunday newspaper, are they available for printing online as well? I receive the Sunday newspaper but for the last two weeks, I did not get all the inserts. Also, a friend of mine told me that I should be getting the RP inserts every Tuesday but also for the passed few weeks have not been receiving them? Any ideas why this is?
i can try and help but most of the time i see no rhyme or reason who gets what inserts during the week. My in-laws get the RP during the week, however, they live in the city-limits. I all of a sudden started getting a small smart source insert on tuesdays. some coupons are availabe to print online but not all. if there are certain ones you need, try a coupon slipping service or ebay. hope that helps 🙂

Cea…from one “newbie” to another…WELCOME!!! You couldn’t have come to a better place for answers, that’s for sure. That being said….
In addition to what Tara said, the coupon inserts are also REGIONAL…so not all areas will get the same coupons and even if they are the same, they might be a different value e.g.1/1 or .50/1…you get the pic. I too have not received many of the coupons that Collin has listed, so really, it’s all up in the air. In addition, a lot of the stores are making changes to limits, quantities allowed and all kinds of other stuff, so basically my best advice to you is take it S L O W, E A S Y and just CHILL. It’ll all come together for you SOONER rather than later.
And oh…don’t forget to use the “magic machine” at CVS on your next visit. I just DISCOVERED it yesterday and we had a lot of fun with it on that post!!!

I know right!! I’ve watched a few episodes of that couponing show and it got me real interested and well it wasn’t until a friend of mine tat got me into this! (Thanks Erika, if your reading this). She’s actually the one that suggested this website!!
I will have to read up on the “Magic Machine.” So far I’ve only done one of the shopping scenarios at RA and have not attempted to do it at any other store yet. My pile of coupons is not so great just yet, but as you said, slow & easy, and I will get easier for me!
WTG girl..I like your attitude!!! Start with the basics…one manufacturer’s coupon and one store…then read up on the posts here to “roll” and do other “magical” coupon stuff.
As for the “magic machine” no need to read. Just go up to the counter at CVS and ask them where the Coupon machine is. Then you just scan your card (if you have one…if not, you can apply and they’ll give you one on the spot). Scan the card TWICE to see what “goodies” you might get. Some people scan till they receive the Come Back tomorrow message. It’s that simple hon. And oh..since those are CVS coupons you can “stack” with manufacturer coupons.
Do one or 2 easy deals on THINGS YOU NEED this week. Once you see how easy it is, THEN follow Collins scenarios to become a MULTI MILLIONAIRE OVERNITE….LOL!!!

i swear i got those red plum coupons last week…i have the cutter coupon, and the bengay and the bogo degree…odd lol i guess i’ll see on monday whats up (i get redplum on monday in the mail and smartsource in my sunday subscription)
the suggested the products you mention to buy, are they applied to the gas award program you mention a few days ago.
I got $.25 for Heinz Ketchup and they are also on sale this week for $1.99 for the large squeeze bottle.
Doubled, that makes for a good deal, you don’t often see a Heinz Ketchup coupon.

I’m in Michigan, and I checked all the papers (local and major cities). NONE had the RP!!!! 🙁 I guess I will have to order the insert or coupons I need each week! 🙁
I live in Michigan as well and thought the same thing but then when I looked closer it looked like the RP was inside of the SS…. (I’m going to pretend it is cuz I”m going to be really mad if it really isn’t)…

Milwaukee, WI is confused too last week I only recieved one insert (I can’t remember which one) and this week only one as well. The Red Plum is not in todays paper – does anyone know if I am getting cheated or if this is a regional discrepency?
For RP it might be a region thing. I was googling about my local papers coupons v’s the bigger city paper and found one doesn’t carry the Red Plum insert. Very strange because its the bigger city one that said it doesn’t. So now, when there is a RP to be included I buy the bigger city newspaper for the higher coupon values…plus the smaller city newspaper for my RP insert.

I didn’t get those coupons either. I live in the DC area and it wasn’t in The Washington Post. I ended up using the vaseline and carress coupons to get the deal.
I didn’t get those particular coupons either (in the papers I have delivered or in the papers I purchase at the newstand). I was so disappointed to not receive the B1G1 Suave coupon. I live in the Phoenix area.

Hello Michelle, I buy the Star Ledger for the extended Smart Source book and the Daily Record for the Red Plum and regular Smart Source. I subscribed to the Star Ledger to receive the Red Plum which comes on the Thursday delivery version only.

The $2 off repellant starter kit is awesome! They are a $1 at my walmart so that’s a $1 moneymaker!
Maybe it’s too late for this maybe it’s not, but if you live in NJ or NY ALWAYS get the New York Post and/or the Daily News depending if it says “Save Inside $??” ALWAYS check the Star Ledger because sometimes it has coupons and sometimes it doesn’t. And it costs $2!! rather then both of the ones I mentioned that only cost $1.25
It’s amazing – I live on the border between Iowa & Missouri, so I pick up both states’ major newspaper, and often there are differences not only in the inserts but also the $ amount of exact same coupons.
I rarely think the RedPlum insert is better than the SmartSource insert but this week I thought it was. Thank goodness I got up (real) early to snag a Raleigh paper as the Jacksonville paper usually ONLY has the Smartsource.
Any local people know if the Wilmington paper usually carries all the inserts?
I picked up my local paper which I thought is supposed to have smartsource and red plum. Last week I only had 1 smart source and no red plum. Same this week. Is there a way I can find out which paper is supposed to carry what?
