Hip2Save: Contact Form and Email Issues (5/24-5/26)
I am sure many of you are familiar with the saying “My dog ate my homework.” Well, how about the saying that my contact form somehow decided to eat my emails instead of sending them to me?! I am not at all tech savvy, so I am not quite sure what the proper technical terminology is for what happened. But it sure happened.
Starting on the morning of 5/24 until the evening of 5/26 (last night), I did NOT receive any emails from the contact form on my site. So no matter what contact option you chose, it didn’t get through to me! 🙁 I hate that this has happened as I personally love to read and respond to emails. If you did in fact email during the time period I listed above, I would so appreciate if you could send me a new email. Thanks so much for understanding!

No… sorry for the confusion. The only people who will be affected is anyone that clicked on the contact link (top right of site) and sent a message between the morning of 5/24 through the evening of 5/26.

I had the same issue with my contact form when I switched servers. Turns out I forgot to update the MX records in the new server. I was wondering why I wasn’t getting emails for a few days 😉
I sent an email the other day about walmarts ice cream social but I think you posted it today so I won’t resend. I’ve seen the email thing happen before in IT but not sure exactly how we fixed it. Maybe its related to the site being down earlier?
I sent you a e-mail the other day about the Huggies/juicy juice coupon. I found it a bit odd that I never received a response back from you. You and your team respond back with lightning speed whenever I send a e-mail. But the coupon link was posted about an hour later, so no biggie. Just consider it a well-deserved break 🙂
