Yeah I’m here in richmond. I do my match-ups early in the week for wags and I get so excited and then on friday when I get the test market preview ad for Sunday from walgreens.com. My interest does goes out the window. Very happy for those that are able to get the deals.
I’m new to couponing and I love that Walgreen’s has the RR but do they only apply to the same item the next time you buy? Or to your entire purchase? For example, there’s a great deal now that you can get a Schick Hydro Razor for $.99 after $4 coupon from Sunday’s paper and $4 in RR, but what would the $4 in RR apply to on my next purchase at Walgreen’s?
you use it on your next purchase…however Walgreens RR’s don’t always roll for the same deal. So if you were to buy the Schick, get RR then use the RR on another Schick razor, the RR won’t print.
FYI, SOFT AT TARGET IS $2.69/EA FOR PASTE AND $2.79/EA FOR SPRAY

Just got back from my first couponing trip to Wags. The ladies working tonight were SUPER nice & helped me get the best bang for my buck! I was pleasantly surprised! They told me to never feel bad coming in & doing multiple transactions & gave me some tips on finding more coupons 🙂 I think I might get the hang of this after all!
Has anyone else had a problem with only getting ONE item per RR deal? I went to my local Walgreens and loaded my cart with the items I wanted (no more then 4 of each) and when I went to check out they said I couldn’t because they have a new policy that you are only allowed 1 item per RR deal per week per household… If this is true then I do not think I will be shopping at Walgreens anymore because that is stupid in my opinion, why waste the time??
I bought 5 of the Soft Scrub Total with no issue. I think those kinds of restrictions/issues are per store. I asked the sales associates about being given any hassle over coupons, etc & they said that won’t happen at their store & they actually helped me check out so that I got all my RR’s & got the best deal.
The ad always actually reads that way-one offer. I think it’s up to each store whether they allow people to get more.
Um, so you did 4 different transactions to buy 4 of the same item and get 4 of the same Register Reward?

I tried this deal last night and used a 10RR on my purchase. I did not get the 4RR, so I’m either in a test market or the 10RR I used cancelled the 4RR- not sure which one because I can’t remember what my 10RR was from. How do you know if you’re in a test market?
If you live in the Richmond, VA area, Kansas City, and somewhere in Oregon. You are in a test market for the Walgreens Rewards Card. So on some of the deals you get points instead of the RR. If they have signs up about the Walgreens Rewards Card Program then you more than likely get points.

I am in the Kansas City area, and we get points. The best way to know is look at your Walgreens ad. It will tell you what you get. Sometimes we get RR’s on things, but not everything. If you see anything that says points, then you will know.
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, walgreens manager ( st Louis area) said with the new change in the coupon policy if you buy $16 in certain products to get $4 RR and use coupons which gives you a total less than that 16 dollars the RR will no longer print so needless to say I didn’t get my RR today because I used my coupons 🙁
When did this take place? I have never really had a problem with the RR printing if I made sure to not use the same RR on another deal. Today I used P&G rrs on this deal and didn’t get my $4 RR to print! I was bummed!
Wanted to give all couponers a heads up. I am an employee of Walgreens in centeral indiana. We r remodeling several stores and if u see ur store starting the process there will be ALOT of markdowns coming ur way!! Look on top shelves. Lots of good deals!
