I hear conflicting reports about using that coupon on the nail polish. Some are saying the nail polish is not considered a cosmetic and is beeping at cvs checkout. Any thoughts? I didn’t try it but thought it would make a great deal. Please let me know!

I received a $3 off Revlon Color Cosmetic coupon from the coupon machine last week and I used it on the nail polish on Sunday. What DID beep for me was the $1 off Revlon Nail Polish insert coupon. The cashier put it through though. Yesterday, I used the Beauty Club email coupon, it did not beep and neither did the insert coupon. I think the reason the nail polish insert coupon beeps is it has to do with the way the items are coded and don’t match the insert. But anyway, I had no problem using the email coupon on the nail polish.
For some reason, I do not get the Beauty Club emails. I called customer service back in March when I didn’t receive my birthday email and they were able to load the ECBs on my card. I verified my email address and they don’t know why I’m not receiving them. 🙁 I would definitely go buy more nail polish.
You get ECBs for your birthday? I didn’t know that. And I just had a birthday. I also didn’t get the Revlon coupon in my email.
I don’t get any emails from them, either. Also, my purchases in the beauty club only accumulate erratically. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. The cashiers have no idea why.

Lauren, you are not the only one. My birthday was in late March, and I called CS in May, because I never got anything for my birthday as they said I would. I never get any special CVS emails and never ever get these cool coupons. I hate CVS for this… that they give these things to some people and not everyone. Sucks big time.

Got and used the coupon with no problem on nail polish. I didn’t have a man Q but that shouldn’t matter. I even tweeted @ cvs and was given the response that it was ok to use towards the polish!

I’m beauty club member and got the email June 20 and did the deal that day. Worked exactly as you said. SWEET!
I did this yesterday and it was fine. I bought two nail polishes for 4.99 each = 9.98, used 2 – $1/1 mfc q’s, so 7.98 – 3.00 Beauty Club Q= 4.98, then got $6.00 ECB, so $1.02 MM on two. I did this because I had two of the Revlon coupons left and found two colors I really liked. Had NO trouble at all!
I am so livid right now! I just went to CVS and planned on getting two polishes. And using the $3/1 CVS Q, two $1/1 MQs and a $4 ECB. The first coupon scanned fine but the second beeped. She gave it back to my and said I could only use one. I looked at the coupon and told her it says “one per purchase” and explained that a purchase is of course, per item purchsed, and that a transaction is the entire order. She argued with me and the manager next to her also argued that “sometimes purchase means transaction”. BS! I tried to argue my point but it was pointless. I had to break it up into 2 transactions. Should I contact corporate?
Did you use the $3/1 CVS coupon for the second nail polish? It does indeed say “one per customer,” so that’s probably why it beeped. If you got to break it into 2 transactions (and you got the ECBs you wanted AND had a moneymaker), I don’t think you should contact corporate for the coupon flub but definitely for the way the cashier/manager treated you (if in a bad way at all). I find that sometimes it is better to have smaller ECBs broken down so you can roll transactions better… especially since CVS doesn’t do the coupon to item ratio like Walgreens. For example, last week I was fortunate enough to find Motrin in stock, so I bought all three of them at the same time and got back $9 ECB on the same receipt, which means I have to find something that is more than $9 with an ECB to reduce my OOP. I usually never spend more than $9 after coupons at CVS, so having three $3 ECBs to use is much more efficient for me! Whoops sorry for rambling haha but I hope you feel better about your situation!
I did use the $3/1 as well, but since it’s a store Q you can stack. I’m just annoyed because they treated me like I’m an idiot and I know damn well that transaction and purchase do not mean the same thing.
are you talking about the $1 Revlon insert coupon that beeped? It beeped for me too. The problem is the way Revlon polish are coded don’t always match the insert coupon UPC. Some it comes up not found or no match. Either you have a good cashier that understands you can stack or you get a cashier that tries to tell you otherwise.

Yep, I received this coupon and did this deal yesterday. I’m in MI, if it makes a difference. It didn’t however, count towards my beauty club purchase. (5ECB for every 50 in purchases) this would have put me over the top, but it didn’t count for some reason. Maybe it’s only makeup??
It should count but with my account it takes 2 to 3 days to show up. I have bought Revlon nail polish like this before and it did count a few days later.
all the cosmetics item such as Nail Polish, Make-up, Fragrance/Perfume, Shampoo, Body Wash, and even Hair Color all count towards Beauty Purchases
when the season changes happen meaning for the CVS 4 months saving/spending Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter then the update on the Beauty (which i have personally noticed as i keep track of those cosmetics items i buy to see when the beauty $$ balance adds up) takes 2 days normally but
now that summer has or was taking affect the time it takes 3 days to Update the Beauty purchases balance.

BOO. I have not received any emails for ExtraCare since June 9, and I didn’t get this Revlon one, even though I’m party of the beauty club. ARGH. I have such trouble with emails from them. I even deleted and re-created an online account with a different email address to get them going again in April. Worked for awhile, but now seems to be having issues again. *le sigh* (I’m in ND if that matters.)
I found this in the fine print:

Not sure if nail polish falls under “face, eye, or lip”… but it doesn’t say ONLY includes? Hmm… what do you all think?

Anyone know if you can use more than one of the beauty club $3 off coupons? I know it lets you print multiple, but how many can you actually use? I used it today, but have another printed out, can I use it later tonight, or tomorrow?
it’s linked to your card so if you use it another day, it will say already used.
you cannot print more of each. well i guess you can print all you want, but you are just wasting ink. its linked to your card and will only let you use one per card

Found the Revlon polish @ 75% off at my CVS. Paid 1.25 for each one (bought 3).
1.25*3=3.75, used the $3 off cvs coupon. Paid $0.75, and I received 9 ECB. An awesome money maker!

So tonight was one of my best nights ever at cvs. I got 6 garnier face products 1 zyrtec and two 84 count boxes of pampers and paid out of pocket 26.27. I also got back 10.00 worth of ecb, so really I paid 16.27. I had 37 dollars in manufacture coupons and 16 ecb. This was awesome one package of diapers is almost 25 bucks!!

I lost my cvs card after I bought the first set of garnier so the lady was sweet enough to let me use those ecb with my new card and I had a rain check for the zyrtec. The night shift manager was so cool I had been in several times to buy the zyrtec and they didn’t have any well he was cleaning and found one and saved it for me. I thought was so nice of him.
I didn’t get the email coupon and I enrolled in the club.
