WooHoo! I was just browsing Coupons.com (under zip code 34655) and spotted a *HOT* new Pop-Tarts coupon! This high value coupon is valid for $2 on ANY 3 pkgs of Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts toaster pastries and/or Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts! This should make for an awesome deal when paired with an in-store sale!

I also spotted a new $0.50/2 any flavor/variety Pillsbury Toaster Strudel OR Toaster Scrambles Pastries coupon! 🙂

i just printed the pop tart coupon and there was only the one long bar code. it didn’t have the bar code that they scan.. are they changing the bar codes to the longer ones and will this coupon still work at the store

    • Giovanna

I just printed and the same thing happened! Weird, hope they accept it in stores, I was so excited about this coupon since my kids love Pop Tarts…..and me too 🙂

      • kiki

mine only has the one barcode too, so i went to the veri-fi website and entered the code it said the coupon was valid. so maybe they will work.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Mine had both bar codes

    • Anne

I just printed the pop tart coupon and it had a standard bar code.

      • mel

Can you clarify? My IP is one long bar code with no numbers underneath (just a few above) It does not have a 12-digit family upc bar code. Is that what you mean by ‘standard bar code’? Or did your coupon print with the 12-digit family code?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve tried other blogs and no one has addressed the bar code issue? Does anyone know?

  2. mom2five

Thank you Collin! I was wondering the same thing about the barcode..

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

love me some poptarts, i hope it works.

  4. Kim

I printed this early this morning and didn’t even notice the missing barcode until now… I don’t think they’ll work 🙁

  5. DeeTrig

Yes I printed two just to see what would happen and there was only one barcode on each that I printed 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My local Winn Dixie took it, they are having 3/$5 until Tues July 12th.

I had to get my coupon from the Kelloggs site though, could not print it from here. So maybe this one is expired now? Only seen the Pillsbury coupon fo .50cents

  6. Kristy

weren’t they changing the way the barcode looks? maybe this is the start of it?

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

is it ok to use say..$1/2 and two .75cent/1 coupon for the two items?

    • Annette

No.. unfortunately you can’t use the $1/2 and two .75 for the same 2 items… only one or the other… $1/2…. or two .75….. but not both for the same 2 things (you could use all of your coupons for 4 items)…

The stores are supposed to be in compliance with the new bar code reading. I’ve used quite a bit of coupons with the longer code, and no problems at all (several IPs too), at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS just to name a few. I read that by the end of the year, all coupons will just have the long bar code.

At my Walgreens, having the extra barcode just gets in their way and often causes scanning problems (they have to cover the unused one with their hand sometimes), SO this is GREAT!

Also, just thought I’d share what I do when I go to print coupons like this (just a single one), I flip the page and reprint on the other end before I print it the second time OR I always select two more coupons so I don’t waste the whole sheet of paper for one coupon. I know it uses more ink, but I’m usually going to end up printing them anyway, and I have the Lexmark 901 which uses the $4.99 ink. Once I started couponing, this was a VERY justified expense because I was going through SO much ink. They say one black XL cartridge will print over 1,000 pages for just $4.99!!! Can’t beat that. I also used an Office Max coupon and used my rewards card when I bought it 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

how much does that printer retail for?

  10. Laura

Oh, Office Depot will also price match. I have an iPhone and have the ShopSavvy app which allows you to scan barcodes & then looks up price at nearby stores and online. I used that to show them the price was $10 less at another store (the only match physical stores) and got my printer for $10 less plus had a $25 store coupon.

  11. Maria

Does the coupon say excludes trial size? You know how they sell the 2 packs of pop tarts at some stores, this should make for almost free pop tarts with those. Anybody remember where we can find those 2 packs? Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have seen them at Rite Aid.

    • Jackie W

      it says 6ct or larger

  12. daniel.brunk@ymail.com

    Thanks Collin!

  13. Amy

Just tried this at Dominick’s. The coupon doesn’t scan and they won’t accept it. They tried keying it in manually and it just beeped. Grrr…what a waste of ink!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Well I’ll give it a try today at Target. It says it is valid on the veri-fi.com website.

  15. Summer

Southern California’s, I was just at Stater Brother’s last night and pop tarts were $1.50 (don’t hold me to this, but I’m pretty sure) for an 8 count box. So just .50 per box when you use this coupon!!!

  16. Julie

This coupon is also on the http://www.kelloggs.com website. So you can actually print two more 🙂

    • Tamara

Thanks Julie…I went to Kelloggs & printed 2 there….coupon.com didn’t work for me no matter how hard I tried! Thanks again 🙂

  17. Mike

Printed with just the one long bar code from Kelloggs site too. Used Firefox when I printed it from Coupons.com, and IE when I printed it from Kelloggs site, so the browser didn’t matter. Anyone have success using them?

  18. Tamara

I disappeared before my eyes!!!! I’m exhausted trying to get this pop tart coupon! I’ve tried many many different sites with different zips codes. Darn.
