ThaNks! I’ve been wondering why the Target matchups haven’t included any red lettering? Is it because the deals aren’t that great, which I’m pretty sure isn’t the case, or what? Just wondering. I’m used to going through & getting rid of most of the scenarios that aren’t red. lol

    • DANA

i was wondering the same…i am still fairly new to this, so the red does help me with knowing the great prices!

      • robyn

she doesn’t highlight them in red because they are all her favorites! she only highlights her favorites for target. at the very top of the post it says, “Here are my favorite Target deals for this week…” HTH!

        • natasha

          they all say that

          • robyn

as in all posts say that? that is incorrect. all target posts say that because again she only highlights her favorites for target.

  2. Lee

At my Target the Dove Men+Care bar soap that is on sale for $4.29 is the 4 pack, not the 6 pack. The coupon is not good on the 4 pack. Make sure your Target has the right size on sale if you’re going to use the coupon!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It says it in the ad that the 4 pack is on sale for $4.29 I don’t see the 6 pk on sale for $4.29 in the ad. So I’m guessing they aren’t on sale

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Dangit! I just ordered 60 coupons and didn’t size the sizes. Online too it says the 4pk is 4.29- 7.99 for the 8pk! Bummer!
Thanks for mentioning this- I checked a little too late, but hopefully it will save someone from my mistake.

    • Collin

Oh thanks for the heads up! I removed that deal from the post.

  3. Mary

Thanks Collin! How’s it going on the Hip2Help tour?

    • Collin

The tour is going great! We are currently in griffin GA and have met so many amazing families. Stay tuned for a video update today or tomorrow.

  4. Virginia

I think the Dasani water deal is to buy two (2) 24 packs of water to get the free Powerade, not one (1) 24 pack of water.

    • Cortney W

Yes, it is for 2 water to get the free Poweraid. I actually bought it and thought it rang wrong. But customer service helped clear it up.

      • Collin

Oopsie…you’re right! Thanks for catching that!

  5. Lisa

I tried to do the Pop Tart deal yesterday and the coupon wouldn’t scan. They said it was missing a bar code and when they typed in the numbers, it said “Invalid”. Has anyone tried this one yet?

    • Lucy

I did the poptart deal today, and it worked fine for me!

I also got the Benefiber 34 stick pack – regular price $9.94
used the $3/1 target coupon and a $3/1 manufacture coupon for a final price of $3.94.

Additionally, does anyone know where Claussen pickles are sold? They don’t carry them at my Target.

      • Mrs.Hall

I get them at my Walmart cooled in the cold lunch meat section. Over $3.00 where I am, but I really like them! Soooo crisp and light tasting. Yumm-O!

        • Lucy

Thanks Mrs. Hall! I’ll check Walmart this week. 🙂

    • m_turnerhakes

I have tried it yet…..but when I printed the coupon it was in fact missing the bar code (far left bot tom corner) that the cashier would need to scan. Collin any word on if this could be a fraudulent coupon??? Or is an error on the the manufactor’s end??

  6. Amanda

If I have a coupon for $2 off 1 item and the item is only say .98 cents what does target do? Does the overage apply to otter items or do they adjust the coupon down? Will it make a difference if it’s a target or manufacturer coupon?? Thanks!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

they will give you overage if you buy something else; if not the coupon is automatically adjusted

    • Kathy

According to their cpn policy, they should adjust the cpn down. I’d watch it closely, however, because they were having issues w/ their registers. Truthfully I shop Target much less since they started having cpn issues last fall. It just wasn’t worth having to go to CS all the time, and ck the receipt so carefully. It is supposedlyu fixed, though and they usually run some great back to school sales, so…

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

this is a great week to go to target…lots of things to get and with that $5 gift card 🙂

  8. Jennifer

I read in a post somewhere that it was ok to photocopy your Target coupons because they weren’t manufacture coupons – just store ones – is this true? I definitely don’t want to do something I should not do but would be awesome since I was only able to print 1 John Freida coupon.

Thanks Colin for all that you do – you are such an amazing person – you’ve inspired me so much – couponing is such a great way to help others!! Since I have found your site I have been able to donate to so many great people that I wouldn’t have been able to help otherwise. Keep on truckin’!

    • Linda

It’s against the law to photocopy ANY coupons. Don’t do it!!

    • melissa

I did not know this, but your computer info is embedded within the bar code lines!! Some Target q’s only offer 1 print. I wouldn’t chance making a copy.

  9. mamma short

Buy 2 Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes 42 ct $2.01, Price Cut Thru 7/9
    Use $1.25/2 – Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes, 36 or 42ct, Target Coupon – (target.com)
And use $1.00/2 – Cottonelle Fresh Flushable Wipes – (cottonelle.com)

  10. Trisha

I already did my shopping this morning. The only deal that beeped was the herbal essence styler. Leave in conditioner isn’t considered a styler but they made an exception. I think the coupon was for 6 pack now that you mention it but I am not sure why it didn’t beep for me. It even shows the discount from the 4 pack on my receipt. Oops *shrugs* I lucked out I guess.

  11. LILY

LAST TIME I WENT TO TARGET THEY DIDN’T LET ME USE TO OF THE SAME COUPONS THEY SAID I CAN ONLY USE ONE (IT WAS THE $1 Q FOR SHOUT), HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

it happen to me once; those team members always go by with whats pictured i would rather go to Walmart and get iti

    • natasha

it says that you can’t on the q

    • Melissa

Most of Target store coupons (esp IPs) do say Limit 1 per Transaction. I just split my transactions up if I’m going to use 2 of the same IPs.

  12. stephanie

I read an article (can’t remember where now) that said Target is going to stop allowing the stacking of coupons ( Target Q & Manufacturer Q). Anyone have any confirmed info on that? My target is picky to begin with, so I always have to be extra careful not to make a mistake.

    • Pinky

My hubby works at Target and they have no staid anything to them about a change.

    • Melissa

I read that article..and whomever wrote it had incorrect info. Its not that you can’t use a Target q + Manuf q. Its that Target doesn’t want you to double dip with the combination, mainly pertaining to BOGO coupons. So the coupon policy changed to where, For example, you have a BOGO Free manuf q for Dove deo. You can only use a $/1 Target Dove q. If the target coupon is off 2, then you can’t. Or you have a BOGO Target coupon, you can only use 1 $/1 manuf coupon (not 2 like before the change)

  13. Shay

Hi…I wrote this in another post but am repeating coz I need answers please. TY.

TY Collin…hope you’re having a great trip. HAPPY 4TH to you and yours!
Off topic, but asking for help again. Where did you guys find the .50 coupon for Skittles/Starburst that you’re using at CVS this week? It’s not at coupons.com. Wondering if it’s still available SOMEWHERE!
On yet another subj: Got 4 Always pads and tried to use the .50 coupon four times. The manager had to intervene. He says that effective July 1st CVS is only going to do one coupon per deal. THIS IN SPITE OF IT BEING PRINTED ON THE COUPON!!!! Anyone else have this problem?
    Hope you’re all having a great 4th!

    • Kara

I have not had that problem yet at CVS but would you be able to do them in separate transactions. I know that if you are trying to get the CVS bucks you do not need to make all of the purchases for the same item in one transaction to still get the deal, unless it says that you must. At the bottom of your receipt it keeps track of how much/many you have purchased towards the applied deal. Once you reach it you will get the CVS Bucks

      • Shay

Kara thanks for answering. However maybe you misunderstood. The .50 coupon was in the P&G insert yesterday and it states clearly on the coupon – 4 LIKE! I just thought it ridiculous that CVS has the gumption to ignore a MANUFACTURER coupon and make up their own coupon “LAWS”. It would be a whole other story if it was a CVS coupon. THEN they can put in as many restrictions as they like. Ah well!

        • Kim

I COMPLETELY hear loud and clear what you’re saying and I commiserate with you. I don’t understand the big deal myself PARTICULARLY when it clearly states on the coupon no more than 4 like coupons in one transaction. And in all honesty, whether they took 1 coupon or 40 like coupons in one transaction, I’m almost certain they’d still get reimbursed for the coupons anyways. When stores make up their own coupon policy contradictory to what the actual MANUFACTURER’S coupon says, it’s SO frustrating and disheartening. Afterall, we’re not doing anything illegal. We are just trying to save a little money in this difficult economic time. Good luck and happy shopping. Hang in there.

  14. becky

My Target also had 2pack of fine or ultra fine tip sharpies for $1.52 so on 52 cents after the coupon! They also had 2pack of sharpie hiliters on markdown for 77 cents. I didn’t need them so I’m not sure if those would qualify for the Q with possible overage, but check it out 🙂

  15. carrie

The tampax deal was a bit sweeter than I realized. my Target had boxes with a “free gift” inside and a $1.00 off Target coupon inside each box. Turned out great!!!

  16. Cecilia

I was able to get the deals on the Poptarts and the Bic, Sharpie, and Papermate deals this morning. My Target also had Haribo Raspberry candies on sale for $0.88. I used the 30 cents off printable and got a few bags for only 0.58 each! I also paired a 0.55 off coupon (I forget which insert it was from!) for Nexcare bandages with a Target printable $1.00 off Nexcare childrens 20 ct bandages. The regular price was $1.87 so I got those for $0.32!

  17. Blairerynn

If you did the Charmin Sensitive TP deal at Target about a month ago & got the P&G coupons in the package…there was a $3/1 ANY Tide Free & Gentle detergent coupon that will work well with the $5gc deal. That detergent was part of the sale at my store, transaction went very smoothly 🙂 HTH, sorry if this is a repost.

    • beebs2010

Thanks! I wrote this in my Target notes for my shopping trip tomorrow. I have hit that Charmin deal twice…so I have 8 of those Q’s. =) Definitely going to try and pick up some Tide.

  18. jane

thanks for the shopping lists I use all of them.

  19. kristen

Did great at target today too!

    1 shirt – full price
1 pair Capri pants – full price
1 pair shorts – full price
5 pairs socks – full price
1 toy doll for Christmas present ( July is toy clearance month for target!) – 30% off clearence

    4 bottles vinegar
    1 Hershey chocolate syrup
    2 freshetta pizza singles
    1 oral b dental floss
    1 colgate toothpaste
1 colgate toothbrush (this was the combo pack with the toothpaste)
1 cat toy (full price it’s my cat’s birthday today LOL)
4 bags beggin’ strips dog treats
4 bags Milos kitchen dog treats
    1 benadryl itch relief medicine
3 boxes poptarts (these were cheaper at my store..but now I forget what the price was)
    2 24-packs desani water
    1 6-pack smart water
    1 8-pack powerade
    10 bottles vitamin water

Retail was $161.86. I paid $110.96 but $75.54 of that was clothes and toys so everything else after coupons was only $35.42!!!

  20. Amy

Thanks for all the work you put into these deal scenarios! I got the Pop-Tart deal at Target for under $3 for 3 boxes because they were also on sale. Glad I checked your site before I left this morning 🙂

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just got back from Target and was really happy to find that with the purchase of either 2 Loreal Preference or Excellence Hair Colors you got a $5 gift card. I also used 2 $2 off Target coupons and a $5/2 coupon from the 6/26 inserts. Basically $17 worth of hair color for $1 a box. Woo hoo!

  22. Kim

Just want to let those of you who are in California know that at my particular Super Target store, I tried using the .50 off coupon from this week’s circular from P&G for Tide and my store didn’t let me use the coupons for the trial size Tide even though the coupon did not indicate a specific size nor did it say that I couldn’t use it on the trial size. The manager even looked at the coupon and read it and concurred that it did not indicate a particular size but that they would not allow me to use it on the trial size. I was really bummned about it and asked the manager why I couldn’t use the coupons and he just said they couldn’t take it. I really got no legitimate response much to my dismay. I wonder if anyone else is encountering this problem. =(

    • Denise

I live in Southern California and have had problems at several Target stores in my area about coupons and they did clear it up, and I was right (had print out of coupon policy). They took my information and the store number if you have it, if not have the address handy. They will give you the correct info and take care of the problem. Try this number 1.800.440.0680 it is posted under “contact us” on their web site. Hope this helps.

      Denise

  23. Mrs.Hall

Has anyone else had a problem with the Pop Tart MFC missing the scanning bar code? Both printed without one, and not sure how they will be able to be used for the Target deal.

    • Melissa

those are the new bar code coupons. It drops the 12-digit family code, which will be how all coupons will look by the end of the year. They are legit, it just depends if your store has the new scanners that read just the long bar code. I know my Walgreens, CVS, WM and Target do.

Thank you for the reply. Hoping my store updated as I’m headed there today 🙂

Mine kept beeping and the computer wouldn’t take it, but the cashier just over rode it.

Where did you find those great school coupons? Here in Southern Ca we didn’t receive those with our paper.

    • Kelly G.

In her post below the picture of the school coupons, it says “*Keep an eye out for notebooks filled with over $6 in coupons for Scotch and Mead products!”

I’ve been seeing peelies on Poptarts for FREE mini poptarts wyb 3 12 ct. regular poptarts. The deal would look like this:

    3- Poptarts 12 ct. $2.65
    1-Poptart Mini $?
    -$1/3 Target printable
    -$2/3 Manufacturer printable
    OOP: $4.95 or $1.24 each

At Target, when using Target coupons, do you have to have a Target coupon for each individual you are buying? Or do you get the same offer on all the items when using one Target coupon in a transaction….hope this makes sense!

    Thank you!

    • Jen

One Target coupon will only take off the amount from one item (or however many items the coupon is for), no matter how many of the same item you have. You would need multiple Target coupons and would probably have to spilt up your transactions (usually Target coupons say one per transaction) if you wanted the discount on more items. Hope that helps!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help!

I can’t find the pop tart coupon, even with the 90210 zip. Is it gone?

  28. Hillary

I can not print the pop tart coupon from coupons.com. I click on it along with other coupons, and all other coupons print except the pop tarts….I was looking forward to this deal. Hopefully the issue will be fixed soon.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was able to print the poptarts coupon earlier today when I went to the Allyou magazine’s website.

Target here in North Texas will not honor the Walgreen’s sale on Starbuck’s coffee. Disappointing. It’s much easier to match this item at Walmart or just go over to Walgreen’s for the sale items. 🙁

I am not understanding this deal. Also, we did not get a SS on 7/3. Help!

Fancy Feast Delights with Cheddar & other varieties $0.50 (Price Cut thru 8/27)
    Buy 5 cans = $2.50
Use the $0.50/4 Target store coupon found here
Plus, stack with the Buy 3 Get 1 Free coupon found in the 7/3 SS
    Final cost $0.30 each!

Does anyone know if there are size restrictions on the Tide? The ones that work out to be $3.50 (after coupons and gift card) arent included according to my friendly cashier today. I didn’t have time to go back and check. Any info would be greatly appreciated! 🙂 Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

According to the signs in my store the 75 oz. aren’t included so i was bummed. But I looked at the ad this morning and very clearly states 75 oz. so I am going back this morning. Will let you know what happens.

The “gem” colored Scotch tape in the back to school section is only $1 in the UT Targets, so with your pdf coupon they are free…I am not sure if you can get overages when you add the Target coupons in the mix…but just a heads up they are not $1.79 in UT.

Ahh I just notices the purina dog treats deal says thanks to me, lol. I like it
