Last month, I tried out this product when I found it on clearance for under $2 at CVS, and I have to say, IT IS AMAZING. It vanishes acne marks, sun spots and really just smoothes skin tone. Awesome coupon find!

“All AMBI® products are created just for women of color to leave skin clearer, smoother, softer and more even in tone.”

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Did you provide this commentary in case someone that is not of color attempts to print the coupon? I am a woman of color but have several friends who utilize the product that are not of color and they love the affects (I would not discourage someone to purchase it due to their complextion).

      • Tonya

Thank you for your comment because I was debating with myself as to print it or not and buy some for my 2 year old. He has a horrible scar on his nose and I’m always looking for something to lessen the darkness.

        • Tonya

I printed twice! Now off to find some for little man’s scar. I hope it helps.

I am a woman of color also! WHITE — as pale as can be — European born. There are no products that I could/would use? I was extremely encouraged by the comment from Naimbe about the effectiveness of it on acne. hmmmm

        • Naimbe

Yes! I am white and this product works very effectively after you have a pimple and it leaves behind a dark spot, or age spots and uneven skin tone on your face.

I thought I saw it posted last week that Family Dollar had it priced around $1.65???? Might want to check it out if there’s a Family Dollar close by.

    • genie

The soap was on sale at Family Dollar. This coupon excludes soap.

Ambi isnt just for colored women. I’ve used it on acne scars, dark spots, and burns. My dermatologist recommended this to me for any kind of discoloration in my skin. its actually really good.

    • rita

I am offended by you all saying “colored women”- This product is not just for African American consumers

Anyway, Ambi is a great product, and it is on sale for 1.65 at Family Dollar. I have friends who are not Black/African American who use it, we live in Texas and it’s always hot…helps with acne, sun burn, dark spots, light spots, softens and smooths.

      • emilee

im sorry if i offended you. some people get offended if i use the term you used. (“African American”) take it how you want it. but i wasnt trying to hurt anyones feelings or make anyone mad. i was trying to promote this product for everyone to try it out. sorry again. :/

The product that is $1.65 at Family Dollar is the bar soap. The coupon excludes the bar soaps.

Awesome!! This is a FANTASTIC product for women of color. Thanks Collin 🙂

Oh, my goodness! I was SO not intending to cause friction!
I was just quoting from what THEY say at their website (after I noticed that all the models were women of color).
I was on the fence about printing this off, but decided not to.
Anyone can do anything they please, of course!
I only offered the information for anyone who didn’t know and to whom it might make a difference.

    • Tee

Women of color doesn’t just apply to African American women, it encompasses women of different nationalities and skin tones from olive to brown and everywhere inbetween. Thank you for posting the information from their web site. I think Ambi has the same effects that other scar, acne, skin creams have so everyone should give it a shot 🙂 It works on my “polka dots” from acne and I love it 🙂 It’s just a coupon, let’s be nice.

    • hilda

Sorry for my “snotty” reply — did not read this. That is what happens when I “react” instead of “responding”!!! I will check it out to see what they have. I was able to print the coupon twice, so it’s worth my time.

  7. cheryl

Does ghostly pale count as a color? 😉

    • Tonya

I know how you feel. I’m a woman of absolutely zero color. It looks very sad on me too!!!!

    • Jennifer S

LOL! I love that comment! 🙂

I am a AA woman, I am just giggling about these comments. Ambi is a product formulated and marketed to African Amercian women, but may work on other skin tones as well. This reminds me about the Ebony Magazine offer Collin posted and people were all up in arms about not being AA and ordering the mag. If you want to try the product, go ahead and see if it works for you. We all realize that most products have a client base, and AMBI is one that primarily markets to AA women. I mean, like, I have never seen a hair relaxer or hair texturizer with a caucasian woman on the box… this is because it is not their primary target audience, but it doesn’t mean they can not use it. Just enjoy the offers and share this great product!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Very well said and exactly what I have been thinking. Thanks for posting this coupon Collin!

    • KRYSTAL

LOL… I love it ! great comment Dee. I could not have said it better. Some of these ppl just cant print the darn coupon and move on what the heck its the big deal and for anyone wondering im BLACK i wasnt offened, I just shake my head and keep it moving
I always used ambi growing up, because my mom used it. Of course we always want to be like mom. It was her day and night routine after washing her face, so of course I would go in and play in moms stuff. I have great skin now with an even tone. I have a medium to light skin tone and it has done me wonders. My sister on the other hand has a lighter tone, very light pale she uses it. It works great for her. just try the product if you want to it wont hurt.
If you can post a comment on the many ways KY Jelly can be used because it was free or cheap, Im sure you can figure this one out guys.

WALGREENS WHERE I SHOP HAS ON CLEARANCE FOR $3.24

  10. Heather W.

Family Dollar has the Ambi Essentials Daily Moisturizer 2 oz. or Gentle Cleanser 4 oz for $4.00 through 7/30 so you can get them for only $1.00

I’m a personal care aide most of my clients are AA women over the age of 90. I’m always sent to the store to buy Ambi. Wondering what the big deal was I bought myself some. Not knowing it was marketed towards the women of color. I love ambi now, besides being very affordable my skin feels and looks better. I had my 13yr old daughter try it also, she has been struggling with acne lately, she loves the complextion bar also. It started clearing her face in about 2 days. My boyfriend who is very dark Hispanic stole the fade cream to try on some dark scars. My daughter and I are white and we use it and love it. The only thing we noticed was slight lighting of our skin, but it could be lack of being in the sun since we had a extremely hot summer here in Arkansas and spent alot of our time indoors. If it works then use it. I did read recently that ambi was trying to reach out to other markets as well. And they very well should its a great product.
