CVS: Huge Price Mistake on Zhu Zhu Deal
Wow! I just want to give you all a quick heads up – CVS made a BIG pricing error in their ad and in-store as I’m sure you can see from the pic above. The Zhu Zhu accessories deal I posted about yesterday is now no longer working. As mentioned yesterday, I assumed the Zhu Zhu toys were on sale 5/$10 (just $2 each)… but now CVS is claiming that was a mistake and they are on sale 50% off – big difference. I apologize if you headed out to get this deal only to realize the prices are a lot higher. 🙁

I bought two zhu zhu pets. two sets of armor and the king zhu fighting arena on Monday night. They all rang up at $2 a piece. No price adjustment needed.
Omg i got zuzu pets for $2 and 2 of the itema were marked $24! Guess i got a deal
My Target (Vegas) has Zhu Zhu pets on clearance for $2.50. There were about 5 different types.
I live in Michigan & saw the Zhu Zhu pets on clearance yesterday, 7/19/11, for $2.50 also.
I ran over to CVS after I saw your posting and grabbed 3 since I had $5 EB, so I paid $1.59 for three armors which were valued at $19.99 each! The very nice cashier had to price adjust it because of the sign … so I got really lucky!
I purchased zhu zhu pets, puppies and accessories all for $2 each.
I got 4 today for $8 dollars and change. exciting
I bought one of each accessory they had at two different stores (they had no hamsters at either store). I then went to (actually made my husband) walmart and price matched. It took me 2 managers and a call to the corporate office before they allowed me to purchase the hamsters. The first manager actually stated that they didn’t care why or if CVS had the hamsters priced for basically $2 each but they would NOT be pricing a $8 hamster down to $2. After much arguing we got 10 hamsters for only $20. Overall, I got $250 worth of zhu zhu hamster products for $38!!!! (I combined the extra bucks from CVS) So, we got a lot of early Christmas shopping done 🙂
