Recyclebank Vacation Contest: Earn 60 New Points
Through July 31st, Recyclebank is running their “Green Your Vacation contest” (similar to the previous Green your Home contest) where you can earn Recyclebank points just by learning ways to “green your summer vacation”! Head on over here, click on the “Staycation” tab at the top and click around on the moving objects or various outdoor items, then answer the question(s) or accept the pledge after clicking on each item and login to your account to earn 50 new points! If you haven’t already, you can also now click on the “Travel”, “Beach”, and “Camping” tabs at top and click on the various objects in the new suitcase to score even more points! Awesome!
If you’re new around here, you are probably wondering what the heck RecycleBank is!? RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Once you have signed up for an account, you can start earning points immediately by clicking on the “Earn Points” tab and taking quizzes. You can then use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available.

Hey Collin, thanks for the heads up on this! I was only able to find 55 points though, not 60! Can you tell me where the two 5 pointers are?!?! I clicked everything I could think of…maybe I’m missing something!
I can only find 50 so you’re 5 ahead of me!! Grill, hammock,pool, watering can all 10. Car and BBQ food for 5 each. Any help with the other two my friends?!!!
I was only able to find 50 points on the staycation page too, I found tons on the other pages!
Yeah, I’m stuck at 50, too. Keep thinking the sun and the balloons should do something, but so far nothing.
If you hit the car right as it enters the scene its worth 10 pt plead then hit it again further down the road and it is worth 5pts. Grill is the same. 10pts to open it then click on the meat and it is worth 5 more points
tried clicking on the car at different locations and it wouldn’t get me anything other than the GPS one
i tried the car at various locations and it always gives me the same thing – the GPS one only
I trired that and I kept getting the hammock…grrrr

Ah apparently I cannot count! I only found 45 points, not 55!
Did you click the grill twice? Once for the list, then a second time after it opens!
I won something like 145 points when I did this last week, keep clicking on things under each tab – click on the plane, the cruiseship, everything and you’ll take different pledges and quizzes for more points!
make sure to click on the grill AND the food on the grill
Did you guys download the checklists? you get points for those too.

not raining on the staycation and waited for a while….is that the one you were in when it rained? or was it one of the other ones. stuck at 50 here.

I’m thinking its a typo? Others are saying there are only 50. Post head says 60, but read on post and you will see 50. But I got them! Thanks a bunch!!!!
I went on some of the other sites to see if I could find out exactly how many points there are. Some say 50, some say 55 and some say 60. Very confusing! I only found 50 with 6 clicks (4 give you 10 pts each and 2 give you 5 pts each). Did anyone else find more than 6 clicks?
Is anyone else having trouble redeeming their “print at home” recyclebank coupons? I purchased 2 of the honest tea coupons, but the link they sent me only allowed me to print one. I tried calling customer service, never got through, sent them an email and never got a response. Not that it is a big deal (it is only a coupon) but it is kind of weird for it not to work, and to be unable to reach a person about it!
