I LOVE couponing and great deals but the one thing I HATE is when people are RUDE and buy 10+ of an item. REALLY people-let others take advantage of the same great deal!!!!
Unfortunately there are only about 23 diapers in a jumbo pack of pure and natural – so 10 packs is only like buying one costco size box of huggies, which last my baby about a month only. I understand leaving some for the rest of the customers, but sometimes buying what you need might mean buying more than 10 packs – especially if you have 2 in diapers…and there is never anything wrong with buying what you NEED and will use.
No there isn’t anything wrong with purchasing what you need but at the same time-everyone is struggling out here and trying to make ends meet so be respectful of others who would like a good deal on things like diapers. 🙂
There is nothing rude about buying what you need to provide for your family on a budget… I’ve got three in diapers and see nothing wrong with buying 10 or more when diapers are on a great sale. If a store is sold out, you can get a raincheck or, better yet, pre-order your diapers through the manager to be sure you’re not disappointing for leaving it up to chance.
Did you purchase them all in the same size?
If you did then shame on you!!! If you didn’t then so be it.
It’s still very aggravating when people buy all the same size and leave none for anyone else. We are all trying to get good deals on things especially diapers.
And to be honest with you the deal says NO RAIN-CHECKS!!!!!!
I bought 2 different sizes for 2 different kids. I should also mention that when I left there were still at least 30 packs on the shelf so I didn’t clear…I was just refering to the fact that 10 packs is not really hoarding or stockpiling diapers.
Its not rude. Diapers are expensive so when there is a good deal then its stock up time!~ (Im not saying 2 cart fulls but def more than 10.). Heres an old saying that is always true~The early bird gets the worm!
I agree, I called my toys r us that is the closest to my house and the lady said they were leaving with cart fulls this morning, and all I wanted was two packs, it’s very frustrating!!
I feel the same way. I don’t have stacks and stacks of coupons. I just need a pack or two but I can never get any good deals because people take the rest before I can.
If you have 2 children in diapers even buying 20 packages in 2 different sizes is NOT rude. The packages are small & babies go through these smaller packages anywhere from 3-5 if that.
I don’t clear the shelves, but I do have 3 kids in the same size diaper. So I do have to buy a handful of them at a time.
Does anyone know about the Louisville Kentucky store? I called and they said they were doing the $5 deal but didn’t know about the $5 gift card? I will be driving for about 45 minutes to get to the store so I want to make sure it is worth the drive.

I needed the training pants and did not see any coupons for those so I went ahead and ordered two of them online for 5 bucks a piece and was able to get them at store pickup so no shipping charges and no hassle for me.
Also, not quite as good a deal as this one but for those not near a BRU, riteaid.com is having a clearance sale on their Tugaboo diapers — $6.29 for a jumbo pack and $6.99 for their training pants. And free shipping on orders of $25.

I actually really like them. My baby is 3 months now & he’s had blowouts in the Huggies & Target brands, but the Tugaboos have contained them every time.
Hi!! I just did this deal at my Toys R Us in Virginia and it totally worked. I had $2 7th generation coupons and I also had really good huggies coupons from registering there and Target and I ended up get 5 jumbo packs of diapers (reg $10-12 a piece) for $10 total, for baby on the way and my 1 year old! I didnt even know about the gift card until the cashier told me…super exciting!!!

I just did this deal at Toys R Us and it worked great. I got 8 packs. I TOTALLY agree with people not shelf-clearing. HOWEVER, with diapers 8 to 12 packs of 20 diapers (my son is size 5) only lasts like a 1 to 1-1/2 months, so it’s not really like I’m even stockpiling. And, I’m sorry, but diapers are SO expensive that deals like this do not come along often enough and you HAVE to get them while you can. My Babies R Us was already out at noon and I can’t afford to not grab however many are there when it saves me this much cash. The shelves don’t hold that many either, that’s the part that sucks for everyone, especially if they didn’t stock extra for the sale.

I have a deal about the jean diapers…they are part of the $5 deal PLUS, they are on sale for buy one get one 50% off, so $7.50 (plus tax) ! 🙂 Jean diapers are only in 3-5 though.
Most packs have a $2 off coupon in them so it would be $3.50 for two.
I just did this deal too however, my BRU does not carry huggies pure and natural so they let me substitute the Jean diapers for the $5 gift card deal! I bought 4 packs which totaled $15, I used $6 worth of coupons and paid $9. Then I got back a $10 gift card! Yippy!
I went and did the deal too! I went to Babies R Us and they didn’t have the Pure & Natural so I decided to go look right next door at Toys R Us & guess what! they had the pure & Natural- kinda odd Babies R Us doesn’t carry them, but Toys R Us does! I was able to get diapers for my 1 year old, baby due in 3 months, & some for my sister-in-law who just had her first baby!! I am so excited! I was completely out of diapers!

I did the deal and used 1.50 coupon off any huggies (not sure where I got them) and the two packages were 4.38 with taxes. I thought that was a decent deal since my store sold out of the naturals.
I actually meet the woman that cleared off the shelves of the naturals. (She had two kids and one on the way).
I always say, the early bird gets the worm. Or there are other deals to be had.

they had them at the jantzen beach one, i was there at 10am and got 4 of the pure and naturals, but they were out of them within an 1/2 hour. but they still had plenty of the others this morning. though they were running low on the training pants when i left. so i got 2 training pants and 4 pure and naaturals and a $10gc. sweet

I went out as soon as I saw this deal posted. My store (I’m in PA) already had very very low supply. My husband and I each got 2 packs. All that is left is size 1 and 2. The deal DID work though, for sure! 🙂
This worked fantastic! I am expecting my first child so I am stocking up as I can! The Babies R Us in my area was sold out of the diapers, BUT, Toys R Us has the same sale going and had a lot in stock!!
I ended up with 6 packages of various sizes of diapers for $3! I had some manufacturer coupons that were $3 off when I bought the Huggies Natural diapers.
Yea I called BRU and they were almost out so I stopped at Toys r us and they had tons! And they are 2 1/2 minutes away!
I know a bunch of people think the five dollar gift card is great but that’s was not the best for me. I got four packs for 7.50 because they have two dollar coupons inside them. That is less than two dollars a pack.

Seventh Generation is included and there is a $2 printable, which will make them $3 per pack. I got 2 packs of the Pure and Natural and one pack of 7th generation. There were plenty left at my store for others! 🙂

Not to be mean but i think its kind of rude of you to make a comment like this…while there are people out there who may use coupons to ‘hoard’ when they dont need it or sell it off, i dont think its right to assume someone is doing that just because they bought alot and arent pushing a triple stroller full of babies. Most people i know, including myself, try to go shopping without the kids lol. While i dont know if the person u saw really had babies at home or not, i know when i rushed to get this deal at 2pm after reading about it, i left my two month old at home and just took my 2 yr old…..so i bought 4 packs of size 2, 2 size 5 for my toddler who still sleeps in them, and 2 newborn for my niece….hope people didnt judge me as a hoarder cuz my cart was pretty full…

Not to be mean but I said the woman had 2 carts full. TWO of all the pure and naturals. I don’t care how hard she may have it, its called being stingy. I have it just as hard since I’m a single momma and have NO ONE else helping me and I get no extra assistance because I’m too proud. With that, I was going to just get 2 measly packs since I know others are in the same situation. I, unlike others, am not stingy and have my house packed with crap. Ever since that stupid show came out, its been terrible. I have to go either EARLY in the morning on the day the sale starts for anything or LATE at night when a truck comes in (which really doesn’t work since I have a baby). With that, I will admit that I am judgmental, but only to those who I see clearing a shelf. This blog teaches couponing with ethics. It’s not ethical to by all 40 something packs of diapers.
40? Ok that is a bit crazy i completely understand why u were mad 40 is too many i will agree. I also COMPLETELY agree agout that ridiculous show and what it has done to couponing! The difference between couponing before the show came out and now is like night and day. Before i could go and get what i needed and cashiers were excited to see me save…now they eyeball every move and question every coupon. This morning at walgreens the manager was very rude ad hovered over the cashier ringing me up like i was commiting a crime. When my total was 13 cents she was actually angry?! I had to go to another wags because she wouldnt let me buy 2 summers eve wipes when the whole sale was BOGO! I tried to explain to her there were 20 on the shelf and i wouldnt be getting an rr back but she was just so mean i dropped it. Then at the next wags the girl was really nice so i told her what happened and she was telling me horror stories about how coupon crazy our town has become since the show. She said last week 2 people came and bought all the cheap school supplies in cartfuls! Didnt leave any for anyone elses kids…anyway, sorry if i sounded mean, i really didnt mean to come off that way, i guess i just took what u said personal since i would have been upset if people assumed i was hoarding without knowing my story….but 40 bags is a little too extreme i agree with u!
Its all good! No offense taken. That show has ruined it for all the ethical people. All I want to do is save a little money of the stuff I NEED such as baby supplies, razors, toothpaste, etc but its terrible bc the shelves are clear. I understand the concept of stock piling but that is ok only when built up over time. Not in one single shopping trip lol. I have a small stockpile in my linen closet and it took me over a year to fill that. If a product I know I use is on sale for a good price then I will buy one or two, never the whole shelf. I am hoping that this is a phase and the shelf clearers will get burned out on couponing or they run out of room in their houses haha!
Lmao yeah i agree, its ridiculous! There are a few women in my town who come in n sundays every weekend and buy every razor that is on sale for a good deal at wags hahaha how many razors do you need?! Must have some hairy leg ;). Lol but in all seriousness, i am SO thsnkful that all but one walgreens in my area is limiting now. I think its completely reasonable to have a limit on reward items, at least until saturday so people have a chance to get the deal all week and then if anyone wants more they can get a few extra if they are left before the new sales begin. Sad thing is we have a local flea market in town where all these women are reselling TONS of products they get from clearing the shelves soley for that purpose and as a result of that cashiers and managers at pretty much every store where i live dislike couponers and people talk smack as soon as they see your binder. Wish we could go back to the days where i didnt have to take an envelope into a store and leave my binder in the car just to avoid having someone make a snide comment. Sucks even more since alot of times i have to run back to my car to get coupons for an unplanned item i find!

Just got back from Toys r us… An even better instant deal is the Huggies Jeans diapers– they are still ringing buy 1 get 1 1/2 off, so I was able to buy 2 pks for a TOTAL of $7.50, then with 2/$2 off coupons, the total was just $3.50 (+tax) for 2 packages of diapers! Yay! That’s just $1.75 each!
I did notice that all of the size 4, 5 &6 were sold out of ALL promo diapers. Size 3 was nearly out too. Good Luck! Hope you all are able to find some left!!

I love the BRS brand. We use them as “night time diapers” she doesn’t wet through them. Definitely worth the $5!
Sorry I stockpiled! I bought 21 packs, with a new baby on the way and 1 at home you do what you have to do! The lady at toys R us said she had more to restock so I took full advantage of the Babies R Us brand diapers. And the huggies Jean diapers are buy 1 get 1 half off so i bought 4 packs of those. Gave some to the brother in law for helping us this weekend too 🙂
Don’t feel bad, I did the same thing a couple years ago when Walgreens had their diapers basically FREE after register reward for about a month. I got about 150 packages and they are all gone now. My son is 2 and my daughter is 1. I REALLY needed them. Believe it or not, I did leave some for others and went to 7 different Walgreens stores. 🙂 🙂

just called our babysrus in madison and found out that all they have left is a couple packs of earths best! and 1 pack of babysrus trainers. gotta run! they said that this morning ONE person cleared them out of ALL their huggies pure and natural becuase of the 5$ gift card thing!!

sorry val, madison wi…i just got back and they reshelved some of the earths best…all larger sizes which was great since we are in between 2t/3t and 3t/4t training pants, also they had one pack of babysrus trainers for girls and one pack for boys. they also had a couple of the size 5 and size 6 earths best diapers. the lady who was restocking said they only have some smaller sizes left of the huggies jean like size 3 and 4 in back, and she was reshelving, earths best did have an end cap with newborn, size 1-3 available. i was also told they will not be receiving another shipment tomorrow because this was a surprise sale from their corporate, i asked for a flyer so i could pricematch at walmart but she said no flyers, or newspapers where printed with this deal. please let me know if anyone in wi hears otherwise. thanks! Hi! I have done this before at toysrus when i bought a toy and forgot my coupon. I brought the coupon and receipt back and they gave me cash! Actually i just bought some of these diapers and realized when i got to the store i had 2 coupons left at home. The shelves were pretty out of them already so i bought 4 packs, used the 2 coupons i had on me, and plan on going back and getting the other 2 applied. Hth!

are the $2/1 coupons literally inside the diaper package or is it like a sticky coupon? I went this morning and saw that they were buy 1 get 1 at 1/2 but didn’t see the coupons.
The coupons i have arent $2, they are the 1.50 ones from last week. Wasnt aware of the $2 jean ones til just now reading comments, going to check my packs for them and use those instead if i can!
THey are inside the package. I went today and since i knew they were inside i asked if i could open them and use the coupons. They let me! They wrote on the reciept that i couldn’t return them but that was fine with me. I paid $14 for 8 packs of the jean diapers. My BRU had at least 50 more packages so i didn’t feel bad. I got 2 of the pure and natural so I plan on going back to BRU tomorrow and get two more jean diapers with the gift card so for a total of $24.50 I will have gotten 12 packs of diapers. I’m happy!
I also used the coupons inside the packages BUT I bought them first and then “rolled” them. Just a note that they did tell me that they were NOT ALLOWED to sell diapers that are opened, so if you do try this make sure to buy them first, then use the coupons for your next transaction! 😀
Very frustrated. In Utah (Davis County area) all Toys R Us stores are out of the pure and natural and jeans. And I called to Target and Walmart and they are completely out of those diapers as well. Really sad that I won’t be able to get a single package of diapers at that price. Hoping stores may restock during the week, but I’m not holding my breath. 🙁
Orem is out of the pure and natural, they told me they only had a handful of packages and they will not have anymore, they are out of the jeans huggies as well, but I got the seventh generation brand for $5 and I got free baby wipes ($3.79 value), I was kind of dissaponted for the huggies but with the free wipes offer on the seventh generation is not to bad of a deal 🙂

My BRU & TRU were both sold out of the pure & natural. They had a few of the jeans diapers in size 3-4 only. I should’ve called before I drove all the way over there.

Just so everyone knows, the Pure & Natural diapers don’t have as many chemicals in them, which is a good thing but YOUR BABY WILL LEAK! These are basically like wrapping a washcloth around them. Just a heads up : )!
totally agree!!!! my daughter leaked every time….wouldn’t use them if you gave them to me since i would have to wash sheets etc everyday!

They are located in some of the packages. I did not open the packages until I was up at the registrar to check out but I felt the side of the package. You will feel a large booklet on one of the sides and this is the coupon.
They are inside the huggies diaper jean packages OR do you mean they are in the huggies pure and natural diaper packages?
They are inside the Huggies Jeans Diapers only. You must buy them first, then use the coupon on the next package of diapers. I checked out through customer service to not hold up the lines.
Inside the jean packs is a coupon for $2/1 little movers Q (jeans are little movers)!
they are inside so you wouldn’t be able to use them untill you buy the diapers. Unless you ask the cashier if you could open before you buy them?
What I did is buy 2 and then open them and use the coupons to buy 2 more. My store said they are not allowed to sell opened packs SO if you want to use them make sure you are right there and they see you opening them at checkout OR buy them, open them, and have them give you the cash back for the coupons which they will do!
I called my Walmart and they said they will only take a flyer ad…not one that’s been printed from a computer 🙁

For those that are complaining about not leaving any for others talk to the store manager they will order the diapers for you and ship them to your house for free if they dont have them in store. I was at my store when they opened this morning and they only had 2 packs of the BRU size 5 so I asked if they had more they didnt and when I went to check out they asked if I got everything I needed so I said well yes and no I wanted more diapers so she order them for me and charged no shipping because the store didnt have what I needed.
Would they still take the coupons for them though?

I stumbled upon something interesting while I was at public’s today. There is a “Blinky” machine right by the Huggies diapers that dispenses $2.00 off any (1) Huggies brand diapers. Match it with the above deal and it will be an incredible opportunity to stock up.
I am so glad to see everyone is getting this deal, I have a 11 month old and a 2 year old both in diapers and I was blessed last year with all the wondeful deals at Rite Aid (Tugaboos) and Toys R Us. This deal is so hot I almost wanted to go out and do it myself but I have more than enough. It has been 8 months since I purchased a diaper and I still have enough for both of them to last until I start potty training both. I am working on pull ups but I have enough for my son and working on my daughter. It took me 9 months to stock up on diapers and I am very blessed to say that I diapered both for less than $19 (all tax). So my advice to all the mom’s to be to stock up now and when a great sale like this arrives take advantage of it!

That’s impressive. I’m expecting my second child any day now and have been buying diapers since I found out I was pregnant. I have over 30 packages of various sizes and most of them I only paid 3 or 4 dollars for (most are Huggies too). So not as great as your $19, but I am happy with it since with my first son we were not as coupon conscious and spent about $60 a month on diapers. I’m hoping to continue to buy diapers for about 6 months after my baby is born and then I should have enough to last through potty training.
