Kmart Double Deals 7/24-7/30 (+ Toy Clearance!)
Well, it looks like select Kmart locations are at it again with another round of doubles starting today, 7/24 and running through 7/30! Select Kmart’s are doubling coupons up to $0.99 – which means you could possibly get a total of $1.98 off one product… but not likely considering I’ve never seen a $0.99 coupon.
To find out if your store is participating, I would recommend looking at at the weekly ad online here. On page 11 of my weekly ad it states that they are doubling coupons up to $0.99… so I am assuming if your store is in fact doubling, you’ll have something similar stated in your local ad. Please note that I would NOT recommend calling your local store and asking as most cashiers and even managers are sometimes clueless that they are in fact doubling coupons.
I’m assuming the rules will be the same as they have been during previous doubles promotions. If that’s the case, then I would assume most of the rules below are correct. Let us know if you find out anything different.
Kmart Double Coupon “Rules”:
*You can use manufacturer coupons up to and including a $0.99 value (i.e. if you have a $0.75/1 coupon, it will be doubled up to $0.75 for a total of $1.50 off the price of the item)
*You must be a member of the Shop Your Way Rewards program AND the cashier MUST swipe your reward’s card at the beginning of your transaction!!*
*Limit 4 “like” coupons per transaction (that will be doubled)
*Does not include Kmart Store Coupons or Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons (i.e. Kmart coupons will NOT be doubled)
*If you are not currently a Kmart Shop Your Way Rewards card member, do NOT stress! There are 3 simple ways to become a member:
1. Go to the Customer Service Dept at your local Kmart or Sears store and request a card; you will be able to sign up and receive your card immediately (this is obviously the best option if you have a store close by)!
2. Call the Shop Your Way Rewards Card dept at 1.800.991.8708; they will take all your information over the phone and then a card will be mailed to you (the card typically takes 6-8 weeks to arrive). Even if you do not have the physical card in hand for the double coupon days, you can give the cashier your phone # or member # in order to pull up your reward’s account.
3. Click here to sign up on-line; then just print off a temporary card to use while you wait for the permanent card to arrive in the mail.

I went to Kmart today and all of the computers were down and they would not do double couponing. I was there over an hour and did not find out until I went to check out. The store manager said it would be up and working in the next day or so….
my kmart was shop rewards was down so they just manually doubled the coupons.
They really should have manually doubled the coupons. That’s what we do at ours when our SYWR goes down.
I wrote to Cottonelle and they sent me 3 $3 off coupons…..

I just wrote to them like I do other companies praising their products. I always let them know how much I enjoy their products & if they have any coupons available they can mail. Sometimes I get an email saying sorry…..most times I get a surprise in the mail. Sometimes for free!!!!

The cottenelle will be 5.00-1.00 in store coupon at Walgreens 7/31. That is for 12 rolls. Coupons .75 off makes it 3.25 x 2 -makes it 6.50 and you get a 3.50 RR if you buy 2 -12.5 cents a roll.
I remember in may there was a store coupon for the cottonelle for wags but is there a new one?? Which book is it in?

Kmart double events in my past have been a big fat joke. In fact, after day one of the last event, my Kmart removed a ton of merchandise that would have been free or close to it. They also marked up the prices on Nivea, Sally Hansen, Pedigree, and a few more things after day one.
I hope they don’t do that in Alabama! We need TP, and this is a great price!
I am the one who brought this to Colin’s attention and I live in Alabama. I did the deal this morning. Made two trips to make sure to get 6 pks so I would get the 50 points for the prepaid visa. So, I know the deal will work. If you see the whole deal, you will end up getting 6 pks for $1.94 + tax!!! Or $.33 per pk. That is figuring 2 trips, 2 catalinas, 6 doubled coupons and the prepaid visa. GOOD LUCK!!! Hope you all can find the Cars 2 packages.

Ok so I did the deal worked out great, although a little issue with using the Catalina (just wouldn’t ring up). But now I have another small issue. Where do I find the code?? I bought all the packages with the Cars free gift with purchase. But where is the code??

There is a spot on the back of the package on the right side of the upc bar code that you will have to cut out. It has the code printed on the back side of it.

Do not bother going to the Antioch CA store even though its listed as participating…they are giving some excuse about the shop your way rewards system having crashed (and how it has been for a few days) so they have no way to process double coupons….I call BS, especially after the way they treated me last time (called me “one of those extreme couponing people” and only allowed me to use 4 coupons total) and especially considering there was no mention about the system being down when I called yesterday to see if they were participating, just a yes we are and a hang up….that being said, after 30 wasted minutes of checking prices (no signage about the outage around the store, just small notes at the registers), I found:
-check clearance shelves for colgate, found some marked at 1.49, would’ve been free w/ .75/1 coupon
-pure silk shaving cream was 1.50 and 1.79, depending on scent, would’ve been free w/ the .80/1 coupon
-tic tacs are on sale for 1.00, free w/ .75/1 coupon

They told me that too, so I told them I am here so they should just keep trying my card, and they did and after a few times it did work. (There was no one in the store, they did not the manager did not even know they were doubling I had to show here the sign at service desk.)
I’m in Mn and the system has been down 3 days.
Oh my, that happened to me the first and last time I went on the last double event….I used 8 coupons and was accused of being an extreme couponer….it took them over a half hour to ring me up because the clerk had mistyped two of the coupons which made the coupon price zero not the face value and he had to ‘reboot’ his system so they moved me to customer service where I got to deal with Lacie the ‘manager. She advised other staff that she was dealing with a ‘complicated customer’ when they called customer service and she refused to double over 99cents so if the face value was 75cents they only gave me credit up to 99cents. I was so ticked off when I left that store. It is in Bellingham, Washington. I also noticed that the prices were so much higher than Walmart and Target and that the inventory was limited.
I won’t be doing the double event again after that. Not at that store for sure.
I find it hard to believe they would take the merch off the sales floor. When my store doubles coupons customers clear the shelves not the employees. Nor do I believe they mark up the prices. A mass mark up of items at store level would send an immediate red flag to the man upstairs.

This is why I call BS…they stated they could not double coupons AT ALL, which I found very hard to believe knowing that computers are going to have problems and many stores have systems in place to manually enter coupons if problems do occur….and now knowing that the system is down elsewhere and OTHER stores are doubling manually just proves to me that THIS particular store does not want my couponing business, which is fine by me considering that what deals I did find were not worth the gas anyway, lol….

The rewards system has been up and down without notice for the pass few days. I can personally assure you this is not BS and not something anyone at the store can control. No computer system is perfect. Until it can be fixed stores have been instructed to manually double coupons.
I am in north Alabama and I asked them if they could manually double them and they told me that corporate would not allow it. Do you know of how I can get info to take into the store?
Yeah I was at Sears and they were telling me about the problems they were having with the rewards system (which of course is the same as Kmarts), so I believe it.
I cleaned up on Buggles today at Kmart. Buggles were on sale for 2/$3, so I bought 3 packages and used 3 $.50 coupons that I had from 7/3 SS and my total came up to $1.50!

To get the $4.50 Catalina coupon, you will need to buy a total of 3 packages of Cottonelle 12 double rolls bath tissue in the same transaction. After you pay for the transaction, a $4.50 Catalina coupon will print out that you can use on a future purchase at Kmart!

I found that the catalina machines can be fickel. I was there Tuesday and it didn’t print out and Thursday it printed at a different register. I think I heard the machine beeping on Tuesday so it was probably out of paper or something.

The coupon will automatically adjust down to the value of the item. For example, let’s say you were buying a bag of Chex Mix for $1.25 and had a $0.75/1 coupon. Well, the $0.75/1 coupon would deduct $0.75 once and then for the doubled amount – $0.50. So you would get the item free, just not make overage.
pure silk is on sale for 1.50, but only one of the scent…there’s a coupon for 0.80 off…it was free…but I got the two scents and one was 0.19, but still a good deal
My Catalina did not print what should I do?
Contact Catalina. This happened to me at Walgreens so I emailed them and within 2 weeks they sent me my RR.
K-Mart’s prices are wayyy to high on most items. Last time they did the double event the only coupon I had worth doubling was for shaving cream, so that’s all I bought. However, they do have some good clearance prices on clothes. I bought a bathing suit for $20 that was normally $40 and a few pairs of panties for $1.50-$3 each.
Did the Cottonelle deal in Corvallis, Oregon, worked perfectly although the cashier was reluctant to give me my catalina. As I arrived there was 6 other women who arrived separately….and we all walked back to the toilet paper LOL so I’d get there soon if you’re going to do it : )
I tried to get this Catalina deal at Walgreens the first day it came out—-no Register Reward spit out—so I called Catalina and after a lot of run-around (them asking me to scan and email the receipt, fill out paperwork…) they told me that Cottonelle wasnt participating. I knew it to be false, but I had run out of patience so I returned the toilet paper and ended up taking advantage of the deal at Staples instead!
I went to K-mart tonight and purchased the Cottonelle, but my $4.50 coupon did not print. I had checked the Catalina website before I left (I did not print it) so that I was prepared just in case, it did not print. When it didn’t print, customer service and the assistant manager became involved and I insisted (very nicely) they do something about it, either refund me the $4.50 amount of the Catalina, or just refund the 3 packages of toilet paper. Well, I guess they didn’t want to lose the entire sale, so they refunded me $4.50. When got home, I went and double checked the site to be sure. This time I actually printed it, and at the very bottom of the printing, it says only available at Winn Dixie and Walgreens. Now I feel terrible. But, hopefully it will help any future buyers at K-Mart.

I was actually really surprised that mine printed and the computer doubled my coupons without any problems, I was actually expecting not to get the Catalina due to my previous bad experiences at Kmart. I definitely would not feel bad though about asking them to do what they did, because obviously if the cat is printing at Kmart in general you should have received yours.

I would like to know before I rush out and get burned again… this catalina is NOT one of the horrible Kmart cats, right? Last time I tried a catalina deal there, the coupon that popped out was a store coupon that had a redeem date that was like two weeks out (so, no rolling it into the next day’s purchases and no guarantee that there would be anything on sale or anything I wanted to buy the single week I could redeem the catalina coupon).

It is just like any Catalina you would get from Fred Meyer or Albertsons. It is for $4.50 off your next shopping order, mine expires 8/07/11. So no funky dates or anything, and it is a manufacturer’s coupon, no just a Kmart store coupon. HTH!

Okay..so here is my question Collin. I didn’t receive the .75 cent coupon in my SS here in CA. SO I clicked the link you provided for .50 cents off. After printing it three times, I noticed that it says “DO NOT DOUBLE” on the top of the coupons. If this coupon can not be doubled then it won’t make for such a good deal, right?

On the Skintimate coupons the .55cents coupons and 1.00 off double to .99? so it would be like getting $1.10 off or $2.00 off? I didn’t find that they said “do not double.”

I went to Kmart and did a run this morning. I was, like many, appalled at their HIGH pricing. But I did find a few good deals…..I got quite a bit of shave gel and some toothpaste, toilet paper (my catalina printed just fine on the Cottonelle) and found some AWESOME deals on jeans for back to school for my kiddos! I paid $2.99 for my sons jeans and $5.99 a pair for my 17 year old daughter!
I just got back from Kmart and got some GREAT deals on toys. I got over $100 worth of toys for $40 and now i’ve completely finished Christmas shopping for my daughter.
If you have a long drive to a Kmart, I just bought the Leapfrog Zippity online at kmart for $20, originally $79.99. Some people have found it for $9.99, but it would have cost me $10 in gas just to get there and back, so it’s a wash. They have a free 30 day trial for ship vantage free shipping, so only paid $20 plus tax. Their online site is also unable to accept shop your way rewards right now, fyi.
I got the Zippity today for $9.99 in store. I’m pretty excited about that deal.

Went to Kmart this morning and was told that their policy was that they could not use more than 1 coupon per product per transaction. I talked to the store manager and also called the corporate office and they confirmed this policy. As usual, my experience with Kmart was less than satisfactory.
I never shop at Kmart b/c I think their prices are HIGH. However, they get me one time a year and that’s for this toy clearance! I got several things yesterday, including a fisher-price golf tee/stand set that had been $29.99 for $1.99!!!

generally no. but i guess i dont try to do it since they say that on them; however, there has been a time or two where i’ve not noticed it said not to double and they’ll hand it back after pointing it out. i have heard of times where people “sneak” it past them but i’d think a person’s conscience might catch up with them…it is just a coupon afterall.

If the cashier just scans it and does not read it, it will double. If the cashier reads it, they may not let it double.
Don’t forget Kmart has new coupon booklets out. I found them at the customer service counter. Inside the booklet is a store coupon for $1 off skintimate. Combine with the $1.50 off coupon and you have a profit of 51¢

Because I saw this on H2S we decided to stop by KMart on the way back from the doctor’s office. We no longer have one in town. They were not doubling coupons, but the clearance prices of some items are 50% off the clearance price when scanned! This was not advertised. When we told the cashier we were donating the toys to our church she cried. We filled a cart for $138.00 out the door and were able to bring six large bags of toys to donate! $20 Tinkertoys were $1.99, Toy cars $1.75, Dora Dolls for $2, Pet Shop Pets .99 each! I went here https://www.couponnetwork.com/ and registered…then you go to the “Your Bucks Offers” and selected from a list of stores. I made Kmart the fave, and then it will show you the “catalinas” for that store. Remember to register and confirm first. You can change the favorite store and it will change the catalinas! I just checked on the Cat…its not really a cat.. I just looked at the top and it say “not a redeemable coupon”. Although it says print this coupon now…it also says coupon printed at register. Sorry for the confusion ::)

Every year I get a lot of my Christmas gifts from Kmart this time of year. Went today- Waukegan IL. They have Beyblades marked down. I got the stadium for 3.50 and 2 blades $4 each. Also found Nerf all weather football (this one is red/blue with NY logo) for 1.99. it was the only one at this price. Many Barbie items half off. Just check your store. Wish they had printable Q off toys like years past. But still a good deal.

Other than that I got little tinker toys…some off brand cars, etc….I cannot believe my good luck! Last year I tried the target toy clearance and it was a madhouse! There were crazy mom’s w/ multiple carts grabbing things off the shelves (I was concerned for the safety of my 2 little one’s that I had w/ me!:)…..but at kmart (which I normally am not a fan of)….I was the ONLY person in the clearance toy aisle! I called my sister-in-law, sister, and some friends….just trying to share the toy clearance love! Hope lots of you got good deals this week at kmart too….feels so good to have nice quality toys stashed away for birthday parties/holidays. whoohoo. went to Kmart for the first time in about a year expecting this Tp offer not to work. Signed up for shoppers card and asked about double coupon event and they were clueless and said no, they were not doubling. I went ahead and bought the TP because it was still a good deal and it gave me enough points to get my $10 gift card. I was so excited at checkout because my Q’s did double and the catalina did print out. Happy dance for me. I would have bought other items if I knew for sure that my Q’s would double. Also got a couple clearance toys for x-mas and clearance clothes. Love successful shopping trips – it makes up for some of the duds.

The store I went to also had some Hamburger Helper (stroganoff, I think) clearanced for $1.60, so with the .75/3, you could get 3/3.30…

If you happen to be one of the many that did not get your catalina at checkout, you can call the catalina company at (888) 322-3814. You should have your receipt handy because they will be asking you for numbers and dates off of it. They will then check out the info and if you qualify, they will send you the coupon(s) in the mail. Please remember that coupon network says that the catalina deal is only good thru July 29th. So if you happened to get your cottenelle after that date, that is probably the reason that you did not receive a catalina.
I noticed that on coupon network, the catalina’s are valid if the cottonelle was purchased at a Big Kmart, Wags or Safeway. We only have Kmarts here in northern Cali so I’m wondering if the Catalinas are specifically for BIG Kmarts or can it be for regular Kmarts? Thanks in advance.

Kmart really wasted my time tonight. I called the store to confirm that they were doubling coupons. They said they were. I dug out all of my coupons under $1 and headed out. I hit pay dirt with several items. After 2 hours in the store searching high and low for my deals, I headed for the register. First, my coupons would not scan; they were not printed coupons, they were clipped out of the Sunday paper. The cashier entered them manually. They did not double and when told they were not doubling, she stated âWe do not double coupons at K-martâ. I said you are this week. She called the lady at the service desk who in turn said the same thing. âK-mart does not double couponsâ. I asked for the manager, who very politely informed her staff that yes, indeed K-mart was doubling coupons this week. (More than half way through the week and their staff didnât even know that they were doubling – the manager seemed to be the only one in the store who knew – that is very good customer service isnât it?) However, my coupons were not eligible for doubling because the product was priced less than the coupon doubled. Needless to say, I searched high and low for clearance and/or sales that would give me free or close to free items and they did not honor the doubling. I told them that they could put the stuff back, snatched my coupons and told them I would go to Shaws and use my coupons, where they do not pick and choose which coupons they will double. Needless to say, K-mart has fallen to the bottom of my list of stores to visit when I am couponing……..I hope no one else has the same trouble and I just wanted to put it out there that it is possible that all K-marts are not actually doubling coupons and you might run into a hard time. Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that I went to my KMART, which, for Kelly’s question, is not a SuperK, and they only had two packs of the Cottonelle, so I figured I wouldn’t get my Catalina, but when I got to the register, the coupons did double and it still printed out a Catalina for $3.50. I didn’t think it would do that since I didn’t get the three packs, but it did. I’m not sure if this will work for everyone,but just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
