Be careful with this one. I did this last time it was offered all did not receive any of the samples! Contacted customer service and never even received a response.
Yeah, last time they didn’t send me samples either. Then I e-mailed and complained and they eventually sent them, it just took awhile.
I did this last time as well.. took about a month to get my blotting papers & had no samples. Emailed them about not getting samples, they said they’d send them but I never got them… so I emailed them again & then a week or 2 later I got samples at my door. Definitely was a headache to keep tabs on them sending my items but in the end it was worth it for only paying $5!

Same problem- didn’t get the samples last time even after contacting the company and letting them know of the mistake. I did like the blotting papers but I did not get everything I expected.
I got the blotting papers last time – I chose a sponge priced at $5.50; can always use another one of those!

Its a rebate site… you sign up and get a percentage back for going through their shopping link. Its the same as ebates or mypoints.
It’s not the same in my opinion as Ebates. Unless you have $20 in rewards you get no rebate at all. With Ebates it’s only $5.01 you have to get and they send out checks quarterly. So unless you plan to get more than $20 in rebates at ShopAtHome you won’t get anything at all.

I had the same problem with this deal last time…. after placing my order, they said the blotting papers were on back order. Then I received it over a month later, but it didn’t come with samples (which I ordered). I called customer service, and they said most people don’t know that backordered items *DO NOT* come with samples. They did end up sending me the samples as a one time courtesy…. but just be aware of their policy.
Bobbi Brown gets flooded with orders for less expensive items like blotting papers, so if you do order that…. then it will likely end up backordered and you may or may not be able to get samples :/
So, perhaps not worth the hassle, considering all the free make-up we haul away anyway at the various drugstores & WM.
Didn’t get my samples last time either, and couldn’t find my order to call about it and complain–I’ve saved it this time, and will call if they do it again…what a crappy policy–not to ship samples with backordered items! When you get the “this item is backordered” email, they should give you the option to cancel, or at least tell you that you won’t be getting any samples. Poor business practices.
I agree. You would think a company that big and profitable would be better at customer service and handle situations like this better.
I think they do give you the option to cancel when you get the backorder email.. I definitely remember reading something about having the option to either continue to wait for the item/s or cancel…
They are now saying the code is invalid. Boo!
Bought this last time- not really worth it. Samples were teeny and i’ve bought better blotting sheets that are non- name brand. Wouldn’t recommend.
Just an FYI – I tried this deal when it was around a few months ago. My order took many weeks to arrive, and when it did, my samples were not included. 🙁
I did this offer last time. Took about 3 weeks to receive the blotting tissues but never got the samples. Bummer.
I ordered them also last time you posted about this. It took a month to receive the item and with NO samples. I emailed them and they said they were going to send out the samples. But I have yet to receive them and that was over a month ago!
Yeah this post just reminded me that after I had contacted them they said they’d mail out the samples and I’ve never gotten them…so I emailed them again about it just now.
I ordered these this morning & just got an email saying I’d have to wait at least 2 weeks because they are backordered 🙁
I see they didn’t learn their leason from last time.
When I saw this deal before i did order mine i only get my blotting paper on the 1st package (they put al ot of tissue paper) but no samples i did email their customer service right away and let them know i didnt get my samples they responded within 24hrs. they told me sorry and let me know that they will send my samples without additional charge. they came a week later(i think i got 4-5 samples.
I absolutely will never buy anything from this company again, I like a lot of other people did not get the samples that I ordered last time, and frankly dont care for the blotting sheets…I’ve used better. This post did remind me though that I had contacted them about not getting the samples and they said they’d send them to me…and this reminded me that I never did get them after they said they’d send them seperately. So I just sent them another message…we’ll see what becomes of it.
I received my samples the last time this was offered…you aren’t missing much if you didn’t receive them! The only thing I partly enjoyed trying was the mascara- the others were in little packets (like trial shampoo) with a dab of the product in it. The packaging was cute and the blotting papers are great, but the samples are just that- samples!
THANK YOU GUYS!!!!! i ordered this morning because i was looking for blotting papers, after getting an email saying it was back ordered i came back to Hip2Save. I canceled my order because of the comments saying the lack of samples and customer service. I did have a very polite experience just now though.
I’m surprised to see so many negative comments. I did this last time and received everything just fine. I love these blotting sheets, too. They’re twice the size of the normal drugstore brands and work great. I have very oily skin and they passed my test. I ordered again and hope my order goes well!

I just got an email saying mine was backordered for two weeks 🙁 I emailed them asking if I would still get my samples and was told that they wouldn’t send samples with my order and that I would have to contact them to get samples sent to me and that it would be something comparable to what was ordered. I cancelled, not worth all the hassle! This would have been great too.
Received my package today & the ONLY thing in it was the blotting papers. It even said that the package that shipped had the samples in it. Sent them an email so hopefully I’ll receive the samples.
